All these years ago that guitar still gently weeps till the end of time
While most of bands that perform Beatles songs are trying to look like 'The Beatles' or to speak like 'The Beatles' The Analogues sounds like 'The Beatles'. That makes them really good. Probably the best.
They dont sound like the beatles live, they sound like the beatles in studio
while the guitar was still weeping, I ended up crying. Jac Bico, you are good.

Probably my favorite song off the White Album (but there’s so many gems on there). This version is truly amazing! And to perform this in Liverpool must’ve been a huge honor! ❤️🎸
I’ve heard many versions of this song & I have to say this is the best version I’ve heard other than The Beatles

It’s my favourite too & like you said so many good songs on the album. I’m actually off to Liverpool in August. I love the city & get just as excited about going there as I would do going somewhere exotic for a couple of weeks. I’ve done the Beatles tour many, many times in the past & guess what? I will be doing it again in August as I still get a buzz from it.
Sorry, forgot to say that the version with Prince is truly amazing & he stole the show on that version. I always regarded Prince as a very talented song writer, singer & performer, but would never of thought that he was an excellent guitarist too, truly talented. I play guitar myself & was absolutely shocked to hear at the end when he came on just how good he was. He went up even further in my estimation after that performance

Going to Liverpool is my dream vacation, ever since I was a kid. So I’m sure I feel the same as you when it comes to that. 😊 Which tour do you go on?

It was Harrison, not Clapton who played that solo guitar. The Beatles recording engineer confirms that. Clapton overplayed and his recording was discarded. This dude uses a Gibson but in fact it was an Epiphone guitar on the Beatles track. The pickups were single coils that screamed through a Fender Twin Reverb amp. I own one of them. The Beatles made a deal to play Vox when they were starving in the beginning but realized that Fender could be very clean and still pushed to soft tube distortion.

As a guitarist of 61 years, it is my humble opinion that this is by far, the best "White" album song, and these guys really nail it ... just needing a Fender Bass VI to double up with that Fender Jazz Bass ... but come on, let's cut them some slacks ...

A year ago my wife and I have been to their concert In Gauda. It was just great!
Het is dat je andere hoofden ziet maar wanneer je je ogen dicht doet, staan The Beatles er. Wát een performance. Ben naar hun concert in Ziggo dome sept ‘22 geweest en kan met recht zeggen dat dit het beste concert is waar ik ooit geweest ben. De perfectie die deze mannen naleven, hun liefde voor de muziek en hun passie straalt geheel uit in hun optreden. Kortom, een aanrader om ze live te gaan zien. Je hebt de avond van je leven ❤!!

Good God this cover is spot on! Covering Beatles songs is one thing, but getting them "right" is another thing and most covers I've heard just don't do it. This attention to detail, the groove, the little idiosyncracies of the songs is very welcome.

This song is great on a number of levels...George and the boys are at the top of their game, George creates true classic beyond measure for the first time in his career (well, of course there was Taxman)....and then along comes Clapton for the solo. George returned the favor on Badge. Wow.
