I know that my "why Dartmouth" essay for next year is still in progress but is this good? As I stepped foot onto the ground that accommodated Dartmouth, I immediately fell infatuated with the campus' infinite astounding features. From the library to the biology labs, I quickly realized that I hadn’t felt this connection to another university. As the tour guide showed us around, I couldn’t find any contradictions in the way that I perceived the architecture, education, and the culture that surrounded the Dartmouth community. I love Dartmouth and know that this is where I belong and desire to spend the next four magnificent years of my life.
Stone Johnson it’s a good start! i would recommend losing a few of the adjectives (ones like infinite, magnificent, even astounding) it makes it sound kinda gimmicky and the broadness of those words is impersonal in this context. I would recommend focusing on a few very specific things that made you fall in love with the campus as opposed to the more broad college as a whole. hope this helps!
How did you deal with college admissions anxiety before the ED decision came out? I applied ED to Brown and am so nervous. I know the decision doesn't define me but I keep on thinking about it. Thoughts?

I've worked in almost every building and dorm. I love the diversity at Dartmouth. And everybody I've met is so nice. Not sure if it's different being a student. But I love Dartmouth. It pays my bills. Gives huge benefits. And takes me across the world !
is it okay if I include ur name in my essay and stuff because u really inspire me Hannah. It was YOU that inspired to become a Dartmouth member and it was YOU that also made me realize the burning passion and affection I have for science and medicine. And for that I thank you the most babe💘
Kao astrophysics is dope, that’s what I was gearing towards for a few years. i’m most likely going to major in neuroscience or biology w/ a genetics focus (possibility of bioengineering, but we’ll see!)
what's the reason behind going into neuroscience/bio-engineering, is there something specific you plan on doing, or is it something else driving you towards that?
Kao I took a lot of bio-based classes in high school and have written a few research papers that have gotten me really interested in genetic engineering/improving gene therapy accessibility and functionality. + neuroscience is just something that has always intrigued me because of its mystery, intricacies, applications, and focuses on statistics and behavior (+ dartmouth has a really solid neuroscience program). I love all sciences, but i’m attracted to how the work that I could pursue in these biological fields could have a direct impact on people
Isaac Korchenko I applied to dartmouth ed because I think that even if I got into all the other schools that I liked, I would still choose dartmouth. I only applied to dartmouth and two state schools early (mostly bc all the other schools I was gonna apply to were only ed or scea)
