The nose:
Vanilla, caramel, sweet pears, toffee, fruits, sherry
The taste:
Oily note, grain, spicy, ginger, cinnamon, pears, vanilla, almonds
The finish:
Medium

This whisky is delightful, very light, floral and smooth. Better than the 12 year ol in my opinion
Finally I opened my bottle of Extra and wasn't disappointed 😁

True about being 'dangerous', I had it on Superbowl Sunday , had given up on chevas long ago after being a fan for a long time then switching to Johnnie if not drinking vodka .. but I liked this and even though I wasn't excited but since it was the best choice at the moment I decided to try it and was surprisingly good ! Tasty not bitter and yes you do want another luckily I was too tired so just enjoyed some sipping and watching the game ...
Chivas Extra actually got me to start my passion for whisky in general & Single Malt in particular. It's terribly drinkable for a beginner, would also recommend Glenfiddich 12 & Aberlour 12 as two start-up, easy to drink whiskies.
Agreed. I just brought a bottle of this today, I wanted to try a good whisky and was recommended this. As I have never tried Whisky before, this one was delicious. Such a better recommendation than the one that last guy recommended to me, last week. He talked me into buying a bottle of Old Monk Rum..still not sure if I like it.
I got this on sale for $20 and it is INDEED terribly drinkable! Halfway through the bottle in 3 days.
Glenfiddich 12 is respectable but if you want a Smokey whisky it will disappoint.
Johnnie Walker is my personal favourite.
Black/double black as a daily drinker and gold reserve for special moments.

No Alcohol" When he say that it brought back memories first time ive tried CR Xtra. I almost spit it our😂 It so strong.. maybe im just a beginner then.
In the beginning it is natural to feel mostly the alcohol note. The more whiskies you taste, the more your tongue will stop tasting the alcohol.

I have an extra regal chivas that says at the bottom: Oloroso Sherry Casks, I see other bottles like the one you present that says: blended Scotch Whiskey. Is this another kind of presentation? I hope you can give me a clue about this

It tastes like petrol, or diesel.. Depending on your taste.. Not exactly Chivas Regal 25!!!!!
Is this a 3 year old highly priced whiskey . Chivas Reagal is making a fool of customers
