24 years old...:) still slaps. but the enctrypter and gene sequence are even better. konflict were insane... it's a shame they stopped making music at some point
i remember going to a party back in 01 and Konflict made a guest appearance and opened with this! I lost my shoes and brain that night! come back to the scene KONFLICT!!! dnb can use some influential drumming and kick ass beats!
I love how the bassline always keep morphing! true neuroFUNK! with you know actual funk....something the kids have forgotten about, just like they did when they ruined dubstep by ousting the DUB!!!!!
First time I heard this was on a Dj Fury mix that I bought at my local Tower Records. After that I put this on the list of vinyl’s to order at Core Records (Dallas,Tx). And it came in! However the wax melted and warped and I had to order another copy. I also ordered Capone (Dillinja) ‘F Down’… the cover art on ‘F Down’ stole my heart. I love and have always loved Transformers so that big ass mech on the cover was it! Trying to match beats back then seemed like something I’d never be able to do. Dnb in Dallas was so lit back then.
Rob Data decided to quit in 2002 to return to his studies for reasons unknown, though it has been rumoured that it had to do with his brother passing away at a Rave party .After the closing of Negative Recordings, Kemal started his own Cryptic Audio label, through which he released music until 2004. On its first release, Kemal used the alias Paranoid User, which was the only known occasion when he released under a different pseudonym.
@@AliSG He didn't quit because of religious reasons, although later on he did become more devout. Just search "Renegade Hardware Clayton Konflict Messiah gentlemens agreement" for the story. Such a shame
+Vlad TheSour Check out Audio Blueprint. That's the record label this song is on. Sadly Kemal doesn't produce DnB anymore, hes the guy djing in the pic. Skynet is who owns and runs A.B. so I'm rather certain you'll appreciate his tunes. If you have any more questions about DnB, I'll be glad to answer if I can...
+Vlad TheSour anything by fierce, matrix, ed rush and optical, break, zero t. Check out Quarantine (record label) and early releases on Critical / Shogun records too.
Old skool dnb is untouchable
This track is 17 YEARS OLD!! How the hell? I remember this like yesterday. Still holds up.
This tune is awesome! It is much bigger than many contemporary tunes.

Big losses. Damn.

Mmmm kickdrum
white crow
jepp
@andrewmoyer hahahahahahah rofl!
as much as i love this track those drums could be pushed so much harder.
i think those drums offer more live and groove then most of the "modern" dnb drums do.
kevin mckernan Its meant to have the intelligent drum and bass sound almost minimal
kevin mckernan on my setup they sound pretty damn punchy
+kevin mckernan Why would that be a good thing?
+kurny chesspro9000 if the drums were out in front it would be an Underfire tune instead of a deeper Audio Blueprint tune. Cheers...
pure genius
