So glad you're back! I literally have pages of notes from all the videos you made and now my 10 month old husky is reaping the benefits :)
The high prey drive is real. My two huskies escaped our backyard and went into my neighbors, and ate their koi fish. Luckily our neighbors didn’t press charges, but man is the prey drive real. And it’s so odd because the two of them know better not to hurt the family cat we have.
A friend of mine has a husky. 1st time he was alone in t house he went upstairs (like raptors he knows how 2 open doors!), dragged a rucksack out of a cupboard, unzipped a pocket & at half a granila bar. Another time he ate half a loaf of fresh bread & spent t rest of t day in a food coma.
Silence is golden...unless u have a husky. Then its suspicious. Very, very suspicious

"High prey drive." Testify. My husky is a little serial killer. Her body count includes a large opossum, a groundhog, and I've lost count of the squirrels. And a pizza we left on the counter. She's adorable, but kinda terrifying.
I love my Luna, she's gentle with the neighborhood kids but very protective of her humans. She brought down a suspect that was wanted in a shooting. Guy was 4 feet behind me and my bebé knew something was not right, he tried to jump over to the neighbors but she dragged him by his legs.

Huh. Our 2-year-old is neither food driven, nor does he bark or howl much, actually rarely. As for the cats and squirrels, he only chases if they run, otherwise he just ignores them, but he does love to run.

My husky will be 2 yrs old in July and she also does howl doesn’t bark much sometimes she’ll bark at me to get her point across and she is definitely not food driven she’s the pickiest eater ever she does like to chew so yes we always have to have chew toys or she’ll go after my sons shoes 😂 only his for some reason never mine and I’m the one who takes care of her but we got her after petting sitting and her young owner couldn’t take her back I knew nothing about huskies other than they are very good at escaping and good family dogs my family always had huskies & a previous neighbor but we fell in love with her and I love the breed such an sediment breed to have❤❤

I have two female huskies. Their prey drive is high. I don't have any moles, rabbits, squirrels, etc. in my yard... If you get what I mean. They love to howl with emergency vehicle sirens. They have their own dog door and come in/out when they want. They have never taken any food off of the counter. Thanks. Good video.

My Huskies are only motivated by food and playing with other dogs, they ignore all the chew toys I get them is there any way I can encourage them to find value in their toys?
so I have five Huskies and when I leave the house they have a little bit but my next door neighbor said that my dogs are very quiet while I'm gone the only time she hears them is when I'm leaving and when they hear me come back
I have a Huskita and yeah he loves to chase anything in are garden specially them squirrels lol he even trys to climb the tree it's almost cat like and funny at the same time 🤣 BTW my dog brings the bread back to asking for butter or something on it he's cheeky that way.
You can also consider doing some zen stuff like growing edible fruit trees and gardening, that too really helps lift up mood..

Can confirm prey drive as my husky loves little birds and cats he also is very bad at listening and it’s not just chocolate or food it also relates to medicine
My Alaskan Husky will be in the backyard and I have found dead birds, dead bats, and she even had a frog in her mouth. The frog wasn’t hurt but she was salivating like crazy! Gross!! My big Siberian is amazingly good but the 1 year old has her bad habits…plus the ones he should have! 😂
Luna likes to eat plants. Any plant. 24/7. Calling her in when she’s decided it’s grass eating time? LOL not a chance! She forgets what listening is.
Amazing my 7 month old also called Luna does the same. I practically have to bribe her with treats to get her to stop eating grass and come back in
they were bred to not listen to some extent lol back in their snow dog days they needed to be able to think for themselves lol that ice might look safe to cross but the dogs will know better and u dont want a dog whos gonna listen at that point lol
also i trust my hoosker floofen way more then the cat with food lmfao its bad enough id rather just leave it where he can get to it so hell protect it from the cat

My huskies are ruthless to smaller animals. They killed a cat in my driveway. Anytime there’s a rabbit, squirrel or any other smaller animal they are on full pursuit. I even watched one of them pounce a small bird and eat it whole. Savages I tell ya…

I keep coming back to watch your videos, I’m sorry you have had a different time. I watch and disagree with things in every video. I have got a racing husky and he plays with my other animals:running ducks,Guinea pigs,rabbits and two Maine Coons and he has his butt kicked by all of them not the other way around. I can leave my dinner on the coffee table and leave the room for minutes at a time and he is not in the least bit interested, if it’s not freshly roasted chicken and livers he’s not into it. In fact he is the least food driven dog I have ever owned. I think it is very misleading to pet owners who are unsure about animal training and who are rather naïve to tell them traits in huskies that may or may not be evident in their husky. Viewers seem to hang on every piece of advice you give them, my advice to them is, your husky is NOT the same as any other husky, he/she is an individual and will show traits of huskies but not necessarily all of them. Oh and my husky is very focused and not in the least bit noisy. I have taught him to whisper, so do your research because your husky is unique.
