I traveled from Alaska to see my first championship. When I saw the video I thought who ever put that together caught the essence of Drum Corp. Th competition was great and worth the trip from Alaska. Thank you for all that made it possible.
@veritas1171 Wow! That's amazing to hear that you came all the way from Alaska! I'm glad you enjoyed Championships as well as the video and we hope to have you back some time soon.
@euphmmx When I edited this video, I chose the best shots that would fit with the music and the rest of the video. I can assure you that there was no hidden agenda to push certain corps over others. Thank you for your passion for the drum corps activity.
There is no greater feeling in the world than putting on that uniform and performing a phenomenal show. I can not wait to audition and hopefully make one of these corps.
Boston!! Full of emotion and dedication! Totally underrated in my opinion but all the other corps really brought it this season. Can't wait for next year!
@forrest822 When he did that, I turned to my son sitting beside me at Lucas Oil and said, "If that wasn't a prop, that guy had better be an age-out ... or I know what Mr. Hopkins is having for dinner tonight." Congrats to all of the performers this season. Finals was every bit as amazing as it was when I went to my first one in 1979. Your dedication shows in everything you do. You'll remember these times for the rest of your lives. And you deserve to.
@wip3out41 This montage was shown before (or during I forget) Finals retreat.... as a member of a corps, watching it at Finals was an amazing recap of what everyone there accomplished. Watching this now, it makes me miss the summer and want to get right back into again. It's all in the memories
@forrest822 Yep! But it wasn't the horn he played with. He had another horn that he used to perform with, he just throws that horn in the beginning as part of the show.
@CJPDUDE Funny thing is, I know the person who was using that horn when it got run over. AND I was there (kinda) when it got run over. AND that person marched with Cadets this year.
@forrest822 Yes, my instructor told me that one Drum Corps got their horn run over by a volunteer's car so they used it at a prop. This is potentially it.
If you were there, you would know which parts got the best reactions. Personally, 2:01-2:07, which was the Cavies, you noticed the crowd LOVED it. Never a safe show with the Cavaliers
@kevinbs05 Hahaha, the horn wasn't fixable, a car ran it over, so we decided to use it in the show. Personally I think the Yamaha's are the best in the market, I love them and wouldn't play on anything else.
@Wolf4Babygirl Cavies' show was just fun. So was Crown's, and they really sold it. I've been a huge Phantom Regiment fan since I first discovered the activity in '78, and I loved 'Juliet' (totally admitting my bias, and the fact that Elsa's never ceases to goosebump my spine). They were all fun shows to watch, from Spirit's 'ATL Confidential' to Cadets 'Between Angels and Demons'. Sure, there were some things I liked more than others. Ultimately it's like choosing between steak and ... steak.
@TubaDan098 Yeah I agree, I've marched Dynasty's my entire drum corps career. Quality isn't that great, but the right people can produce incredible sound with them. Jupiter's on the other hand, limited PR's sound after they switched after 08.
If Abraham Lincoln were watching this, he would say, "You can please some of the people all of the time and all of the people some of the time but you can't please all of the people all of the time"!! or he might say, "Great video, congratulations to all the corps!!".
@kevinbs05 around mid season some smart kid left his horn in the street and it got ran over so they decided to make it part of the show and have the demon throw it in the beginning
probably the most uncomfortable 3 and a half minutes of my life trying to look at the screen with my shako on, my neck was hurting for days after that, oh well, it was still fun:)

And you deserve to.
@xxcandiedapples That was Cascades.
@smartbluma Woah! I would never have thought that would have been them. Thanks! (Those are some sharp Unis)
It makes me grin so much to see the Cavies drum major smiling when he was cunducting upside down.

Cadets rocked the house that night!! If they hadn't won I would've been seriously concerned about the judges mental health.
@ichigo109kjl It's Phantom Regiment performing Juliet

@kevinbs05 That was run over by George Hopkins himself.
@DrumTchr No, the horn thrown across the field.
@DCIFanNetwork What corps is it at 2:22, who are in the tuxedo uniforms? I cannot figure out who they are. (I know the others).
Shit, this makes me miss marching season at my highschool

3:19 Lady, look at the damn show, she's not really dieing...
@TubaDan098 Oh, forgot to say, I'm a Euph player, so I that's why I think low brass king's are awesome.
probably the most uncomfortable 3 and a half minutes of my life trying to look at the screen with my shako on, my neck was hurting for days after that, oh well, it was still fun:)
2:01 epic cavaliers swag!
@kevinbs05 That is my second favorite, again I'm a tuba player so I'm only talking about their tubas. Worst though.... Jupiter.
