I marched 66 through 70. Wanted to march in blessed Sacrament, dad wanted me go to Garfield. Then moved to Florida.😥got to see my son march magic of Orlando in 2002. Playing sop too🎺🥁 memories are forever
Last time I marched in corps was 1970. Great memories. Got two rotary/valve soprano's an two parduba double cup mouth pieces. 🥁🎺B.S.and Garfield were favorite and ones i wanted to age out in. But moved to Florida 😭
Why am I so torn between the Cadets and Carolina Crown? I can't decide which corps I want to audition for.. They are both so talented and amazing. Anyone who has any suggestions, please reply. I need some advice before I sign up next year.
@mepperpint93 Yeah, I'm thinking that the Cadets is gonna be the way to go. :-) Do you know if they do audition camps in the Dallas/Austin/Texas area? I know most corps do that.. I really don't want to have to go all the way up to Allentown to audition, but if I have to.. ;-)

RIP one of the best
I loved marching in corp. Aged out 39 years ago. Still go to all the shows I can.
just an outsider commenting on how talented this band is. awesome way of controlling the dynamics of that piece.
It is a drum corps and you should respect them as such...even 12 years later.

THEY'RE SO ORGANIZED!
love this!!!
@SuprSS787 How talented this DRUM CORPS is. There is a difference. If not necessarily observable these days, the difference in fact exists.
That contra sound tho... FHNSAB!!
@Wahl95
No they don't I'm afraid. All of the camps are in the Philadelphia Area (specifically Woodstown, NJ)
one of David Holsingers many fine peices.
So.....we don't arrange the valve oil into a garfield G on the ground anymore? Lol...

Yes they still make the Garfield G out of the valve oil!
The tags have 5 different things with "bass" in them.
@Wahl95
Well I auditioned at Cadets and got a call-back. There wasn't really any competition between the two. Cadets all the way!
You can hardly see the demons around 0:52
And now I can die.
look at all the bottles of valve oil.....
@mepperpint93 Damn. Oh well, I guess I'll just fly up there!
Why does the soloist and 5 in front sound so bad and shaky? Listen to their 2013 hornline but why does this sound so edgy and bad
Ace Plays This is New Jersey, not Indy.
ahh i see.
what?...
FHNSAB!
