the char select menu has to be the most horrible char select menu design i have ever seen if they want to go that style , put only the base forms there and when you click on the base form you get a sub menu with the choice of every transformation and you know EXTEND the timer , like who the f decided that was long enough to scroll through 182 chars in a menu thats 6 chars wide 30 lines of chars???
on GODD on top of THAT, you have to watch the animations if you're doing a team/DP battle u 40 seconds to go through 5 meta cooler "fall back" animations through awful sorting and whatever else
if you press the right bumper while you’re hovering over the character u want to choose it’ll choose them and keep your place on the list so you don’t have to continuously scroll each time
Losing connection at the finals of a tournament is the worst thing that needs to be fixed. The game randomly decides you lose and the other person gets the win
@@manhoovy193 dude means the game itself, it has bad input lag. Every move feels delayed, and this is especially noticeable to people who regularly play 2D fighting games. It was the very first thing I noticed when I bought it.
Have you tried R1 and L1 to quickly swap between character slots instead of confirming every individual character? Their intros make that timer tick away like nothing.
tbh the whole char selector needs to be revamped as a whole... its the worst char selection ever, wish it was like pick goku base end of z and then u can select his forms + fusions but no they made it all singular slots someday if they add more gl xD
@@yuu64893 Just transform, your character is stronger if you start from base form anyway. And you can put their Fusions on the team with Goku and Vegeta tf? Game would be pretty lame if I had to fight some idiot with the same 5 characters. That part of the character select isn't a problem.
@@WeWantTheRoshi you dont understand what i mean, im talking about the character select interface, compare that to BT3 and u know what i talk about, dp system? isnt the thing im talking about
if you pick the SLOT of goku you open a new interface that shows you the possible options for that character, like Majin Boo (Good) you then you can select either one of it while you basically eliminate slots for the other 4^^ the selector has too many slots to be future proof, in my mind the select chars is still unfinished by design^^
Ya, my complaint is the input delay. Lots of times I'm pressing buttons but my character will literally do nothing. Or if I try to do a super, they'll charge for a couple secs before doing it even though I have enough Ki to do it. Idk what the deal is about the Great Ape Vegeta fight. I read so many complaints and was expecting a hard fight, but I literally beat him on my first try and barely got hit.
There was a great ape fight in a what-if that I found much more difficult, but only bc it came *after* a full-health super difficulty fight with no checkpoint or healing in between. The main story one I barely remember bc fighting giants in these games has always just been ki spam.
I’m pretty sure a lot of the difficulty came from people just picking up the game and jumping straight into the story, maybe not understanding the mechanics or the controls fully, and then getting jumped by a hyper aggressive ape. It probably isn’t that the fight is hard. It’s probably just that it’s harder than one of the beginning fights in the first story you’d tackle should reasonably be. And honestly, that’s the way that I feel about most of the story fights. They aren’t hard. The AI is just super aggressive, reads inputs, and has nearly perfect defense, making the fights more annoying than anything. A lot of the What If conditions require you to win quickly or not take a lot of damage, so it ends up devolving into you just abusing Sparking in every fight just to not have to deal with a lot of the obnoxious stuff. And most of the “difficulty” went away the more I played the game, making it definitely a skill issue, but that annoying feeling never did go away.
Me too I noticed so many time playing against my friends online I will knock them back after a combo have enough ki to do a special attack and press the inputs and I just stand there and they get to recover then my attack comes out but by then there already holding block 😓
lack of skins is real. they will probably make skin pack dlcs id guess. also, i was kinda hoping we could customize character skills because in episode battle some chars have different skills. but then again, theres also costumes in episode battle that you just cannot play as, which is stupid.
Honestly the skin ship itself just feels like an excuse to justify having all the Goku and Vegeta outfits and a handful of Z warrior ones, that's it. No alt colors, no cosmetic other than a Halo and a Scouter which you can't even equip on anyone but only specific few characters. The trailers showed that the accessory panel had a bunch of items, even a gun which everyone made a joke about but there is no such thing
my main gripe are the what if confiditions cause on one hand they're "just outlast an opponent enough" and on another hand its "kill this super broken ai in 0.5s and if you see this box of dialouge you gotta reset cause you took too long" on and if you lower the difficulty (cause the newer players will NOT be able to beat said ai unless they're bt3 vets) you still wont get the what if BANDAI. WHY.

My biggest complaint is the weird input delay. There's like a half second delay between button press and the attack registering. They need to address this asap.
I knew people were gonna have problems with the game. So much hype was surrounding the game and when you tried to critize it in anyway, you would get ganged on for "complaining". Im glad fans are being more honest now
hell, people are still calling the game a 10/10 game of the year. Annoying af tbh. Having people like that in the community dont make games better. 7/10 at best
@HansWalter-z6c 7/10 compared to BT3. And 7/10 is not bad or crazy. It is a good game but it needed more time to polish and it is missing characters, cross play and more customization.
It's funny how fans were trashing on anyone for giving any sort of valid critiscisms leading to the game being released in this state for PC it's absolutely terrible it's capped at 60 fps and the game is super slow and lagging all the time, the what ifs are literally impossible to find, the cutscenes are quite basic and mainly input lag this is what happens when stupid fans attack anyone trying to help the devs fix the game these critiscisms are VITAL to get the game fixed and repaired before release
I was suprised that fullscreen wasnt an option. Idk about the rest but for me It looks better and I get more FPS. For example in elden ring I had 45-50 FPS in borderless but in fullscreen Its in 60 all the time in addition that It looks cleaner and better.
Bamco ports have never been very good so this isn’t surprising. Assuming your pc meets specs though, the stuttering gets mostly better over time as shaders compile. It’s an unfortunate element of Unreal Engine. I really wish they just gave us the option to precompile shaders.
Charging smash attacks after rush combos needs fixing as the input doesn’t register a lot, supers and ultimate attacks not firing, and dashing supers and ultimates not connecting half the time. I also play on standard, am glad you mentioned some of these as it seems almost no one is. And that’s not a ki charging animation after transforming, many if not most characters will hold a pose after transforming, some of them have an aura some do not, but it’s not actually charging, it’s just for aesthetic.
The only actual problem I’ve had with the game is whenever you enter sparkling mode there’s a good chance trying to dragon dash will make you grab instead
The chase change move is a pain in the ass to pull off. Same thing with trying to get the alternate endings in story mode where the alternate objective is to beat the opponent(s) quickly.
The story mode is a huge huge huge let down. Very disconnected no idea why they did it based on character instead of how the previous versions did it via just one saga at a time
Tenkaichi games aren’t about the story… also how many times do you want to replay the same linear story over and over, dragon ball is damn near 50 years old, if anything the what if options could be a bit more fleshed out
I just switch characters for the timeline since i know the fights, i think its made assuming we do too. Some different characters stories have better cutscenes for some moments or are hidden behind alt paths
I've had the control issue on standard. from smashes not coming out and me just suddenly shooting Ki blasts [which might be skill?] but i'm going from 3 x to y right away. and getting just ki blasts. I've also had my ultimates not come out when i'm hitting the button at the end of a combo. some times supers to but much more rare. times i go to transform and my character just starts punching with the menu open. and some other things where i'm just not sure if it's me or the game some times and it's frustrating. like if i knew it was 100% me i'm fine with that it's something i can fix and improve but the inconsitency makes it frustrating. Also has anyone else gone for a down or up Y/Triangle and gotten a smash instead? am i just timing that wrong [which i think I am] or is that a legit issue other people are having?
6:10 I swear, I’ve tried running the universe 6 saiyans in base and because of that d pad it’s hard/impossible to fuse into kefla, or to switch out and save my characters
I agree that the counters are 50/50. I think it depends on the character you’re up against. The buttons don’t register like the should though. You can’t do supers, ultimates, or combo consistently. It’s a bug that needs to be patched.
The defensive mechanics struggle when it comes to terrible lag because it requires precise timing which is just nearly impossible to pull off during lag situations
Ngl the only problem i have is the maps….. thats it, other than that this my favorite game, amd having tons of fun in local splitscreen, despite only having timechamber, am having tons of fun, and the combat is literally playable dragon ball, the only thing they should add is more maps… and new split screen able maps, like space cuz space dont have much so that should work… that’s practically it, tournament mode is very fun and custom battle is funny sometimes, animations looks amazing, am glad they fixed everything before launch which good, i dont really play online, i found that part boring, people like playing ranked but not me, i came to play dragon ball and here i am
Something I'm really not enjoying at all is how tedious it is to trigger the alternative events on some levels of the story mode. Not because it is hard, but because the event you're waiting to happen just doesn't happen. So you either end up going the canon and can't trigger the what if or you get stuck triggering the what if eternally
I wrote a whole thing about this, but I agree completely. Highly defensive AI and extremely strict timers do not mesh well. The easy solution would have been to not block alt routes on easy, but at least we have dragon orbs or I probably would just never get some of them done.
6:01 this is actually because either you dont have enough skill points, you have no transformation points or your switch out cooldown isnt up yet, or all three
I think a wish for me is customizable moves. Like SS2 Gohan with a Raging Masenko or smth like that. The idea can also help with Custom Battles incase you want a different ultimate for a character.
What I am really annoyed is that the taunt menu opens on very specific situations when nothing is going on basically. If any combat occurs it refuse to open for the next 5 seconds. I just want to taunt mid fight or immidietly after reflecting something. I dont care if there is no animation or pose I just want the dialogue to play. What I am also annoyed is that the dialogue is like 3 lines for every character. Most chars have a ton of dialogue which isn't hard or that time consuming to put in the game. I was easily expecting 10-30 quotes per character. The menu being slow also applies for the transformation and fusion, it opens up slow I just want it to instantly appear, every second that I look away from combat into the menu is vital. It also annoying that it doesn't take immidiate imput to transform or fuse even if you have what is needed, the menu needs to fully open first, then navigate to fusion and when that is fully loaded press the button. Pressing it any moment earlier will do nothing.
The switch/transformation and some other inputs just failing thing is the most upsetting one to me. Like not only is there a delay when it does work but for it to in so many matches never work to the point where I thought you needed available DP slots to be able to transform is crazy Edit: that said I really wish the training mode was better
But regarding great apes - in tenkaichi 2 one was able to break their armor if one just only hits a "bit" harder. In sparking zero triangle down or up won't work. Was confusing at first And one counter was removed I rly loved -> pressing x into triangle while an enemy attacked melee to avoid, and hit him in his stomach to stun them. Variation with square is in thee though x: Also "sonic wave* was removed entirely. I miss that one a lot
It's weird that whenever I read the opponent using a bar to escape I use perception to go to the cool cinematic of counter counter but it rarely works. I press it immidietly after they escape and it doesn't register.
apparently the only reason people play this is for online. The issues u stated are true the ai is to easy and dumb and predictable. And everyone has to little hp and everything does to much damage. But what im notice IS NO ONE IS TALKING ABOUT OFFLINE TORNAMENTS... the tornaments are 3 easy ass fights and they are all the same the world Tornament and the Tornament of power all work the same. U cant change brackets what so ever. Sadly all the youtubers are just focusing on glazing online so this will never be fixed and the costumazation was just a lie. Its the same outfit but damaged... goku alone has like at least 6 real outfits he should have had. End of z, gt. Causal. Etc. They just gave us 2 outfits for like 10 characters and called it a day. But no one talks about that so that wont get fixed. And the emotes are so uncanny. They are not able to be changed each characters have the same lazy emotes the devs found of unreal 4 free emotes. Where sre the emotes where trunks draws his sword? Or goku takes of his orange shirt so we can see the blue. Or where characters actually do emotes that have done in anime. This game is god awful slop
You know whats the messed up part about this game is after you win a clash you'll become fatigued and your opponent will spam their ultimate with a fused character
Took me two attempts to beat Great Ape Vegeta. Just killed him with a Kaioken Kamehameha clash. The Ginyu Force took me a few tries though. The Earth was just a withered husk after all the Spirit Bomb energy I used.
Man vegito blue was clapping my cheeks like a Diddy freak off☠️ he was busting out crazy combis into super attacks, tossing my ass around the map not giving me a chance to breathe and whenever I countered it became a game of who can out counter and evade the other the longest. Due was hella sweaty☠️ then that swap with trunks spamming the z sword. I honestly began to understand how Zamasu felt when he was getting boxed up by Vegito blue
This is exactly why i have not done a ranked match yet. Its not met my expectations of fair on both sides. Even on my regular online match i switched out and didnt take damage on a shot i really should have. Might have even turned the match i posted the fight.
The biggest issue I have is how vegito blue was consistently clapping cheeks ☠️ man was running combos into super attacks and my god this dude wasn't going to let me get away with countering, dude would counter my counter so I catch him with a block, throw aone punch, then he right behind me ready to clap me☠️ I told myself left me master the AI then Ill go online but damn if the players are harder than vegito blue was in the goku black episode Imma end up like I went to a diddy party in an online match☠️
I don’t understand , why can’t they just make the game balanced. I know it’s easier said than done but they make it so OBVIOUS on how overtuned certain characters are. It’s not fair for the opponent nor for the people that genuinely like gogeta and just want to play against other people with him fair and square. If we don’t get out of this honey moon phase and start criticizing the game so that it can have a longer life span then this game is cooked
It's just the skins for me. Badman shirt and alt SS4 skins. But the core mechanic of what it is now (which will be updated more later) it's definitely so close to absolute perfection.
Some of the harder AI really feel like they're move-reading with how they can choose to counter 80% of your attacks. Not that the game should be dead easy, it's just maybe a little overtuned for Normal difficulty, since some can counter like 5 attacks in a row and keep punishing, even when trying to mix up your strategy. Some felt pretty even, and some felt like they went UI and could counter everything you did (i was floored when the UI reveal fight literally had a cracked Jiren that just countered all my moves), and then counter your counters. Skill issue? Perhaps, perhaps, it just feels like there's a little RNG involved if they decide to just say "nope" and stop you in your tracks. I honestly had more trouble with other fights than great ape Vegeta, that one is kind of easy tbh because he just spams the same move so it makes him pretty predictable to block or dodge it. A lot of the story what-ifs feel half baked too, just being "what if the villain was beaten early", without really exploring them or how they might affect future events like the initial branch off with Goku does where he survives Raditz (a weak one is the whole story for Goku Black and all of them are just "what if they won" at different stages of the final fight). I still appreciate that all of them are there so the game doesn't just force an outcome, but allow you to actually win through skill. Still an amazing game and I love playing it, but I won't praise it unconditionally
Yea so? You dont Have to buy it and i specify Most characters that isnt here are: reskins db characters that will probably come at a later date as a dlc and super 17 thats all compared to the characters we gotten characters
Nah I play on standard controls too and the game will not let me do supers quite often if I hit r2+O the game will for some reason make me do the perception, r2+triangle will have me shoot ki blasts or continue vanishing to them to send them flying instead of just doing my melee super
Great video! Ez sub. My gripes below: • The AI in story mode is a bit tiring to fight, yes, but the difficulty comes in the alternate routes especially. I can comfortably fight the AI at any difficulty at this point, but doing it *very* quickly (as most of the side conditions are just “win really fast”) is a pain since the high difficulty AI relies entirely on input reading defensives, which draws out fights. They at least gave us a wish to get around that, but we shouldn’t need that. And I don’t see a reason to turn off alt routes if you enable easy. Besides being less exhausting, fighting on easier difficulties is fun because: • The difficult AI is too limited. The “Artificial” side really comes out. I’m no fan of input reading, but I don’t have a great alternative and I’m at least happy that difficulty here changes how much that is done. The problem is that once you’ve fought it enough you start to realize that because of this, some interactions will always, or almost always succeed, and some interactions will always fail. For example, never revenge counter a super difficulty AI. I have *never* seen them not perception counter it. I’m still working on that. The timing isn’t super tight to do it but it’s not something I’ve been able to do on reaction yet, and I don’t see it much online either. There are a bunch of other examples, but the point is that the AI doesn’t have enough variety in its actions, limiting what you can do when fighting it in a way that reduces the fun. It’s really good at making you learn defense interactions though. • Biggest one: BULMA, SHUT THE F*** UP. The menu dialogue is maddening. Why they thought it was a good idea to have someone speak one of their 1-3 lines every, and I’m not exaggerating, FIVE seconds is beyond me. Not to mention a similar number of responses to when you purchase something or turn in a mission. It seems like a small thing, but with how large the menus are it easily becomes a nightmare that makes me mute every time I go to the shop or mission screen.
Side note that most complaints I see are related to online, and I definitely find it a bit wonky but tbh this series was never designed with online, especially competitive online, in mind. That said I’d love the technical side of things to be cleaned up a bit, especially as a classic controls player. • The only missed inputs I’ve had are independent of offline but they’re frustrating. I switched from classic transforms / switching back to standard bc getting the switch menu to show up is a mess. It seems to only work if I press both sticks at EXACTLY the same time. I know it’s the input that the other games used, but *those* games didn’t do the panel thing and they didn’t have an action bound to the LS either. Also, for the panel version with classic they need to either change the input to the stick for the actual switch, or correct the visuals on the panel to be face buttons like the actual input. It’s confusing. • The other input I’ve had trouble with is heavy strikes at the end of a rush string. The timing feels very awkward compared to every other option (more rush, step, teleport etc.). This is independent of online and is just something to get used to, but it’s a weird timing. Speaking of… • The only missed input issues I’ve had specific to online are from two things: first you have to adjust your inputs for lag, especially with vanishes, and second there are once again issues with classic. I’ve had no problems transforming online, though I haven’t messed around with teams yet. But I have had issues where the input for my supers changed from classic back to a borked version of standard *mid-match*. I don’t know how well this game would have done without online in this era, but as someone who grew up with Tenkaichi and has been waiting 17 years for a sequel they never expected to come, I’m much happier to have an amazing Sparking game with jank online than I would be to have yet another online Dragon Ball game that doesn’t feel as good as this series always has.
One more note on what might be the single BEST decision they made about online play: unlocks. I LOVE that you can unlock almost all of the characters and costumes in two ways. Wanna be like me and play mostly the single player suite? Great! Have some characters and costumes for playing our content. Wanna jump straight online or into free battles? Great! Have some levels to unlock the same things in the shop, which you can buy instead of finding the unlock condition for. Do that in the opposite order? Great! Here’s a refund, get yourself a nice voice line. I was terrified that we would not get to unlock characters because they wanted to have everyone available for online play straight away, but I got this system instead and I couldn’t be happier. There’s still room to complain I guess if your favorite character is locked at the start and you *just* want to play them online, but it’s a worthy sacrifice imo to find the gap between being appealing as an online fighter and *remembering what this goddamn series is in the first place*

@@snickaOG I agree. I’m just happy I at least get selectable difficulty for the AI’s competence. I find Xenoverse endlessly frustrating despite wanting to love it, just bc even on the “easy” difficulty, the AI is infuriating. Easy doesn’t change their behavior as far as I can tell, just the numbers. I find the normal - hard difficulty in this to be the most enjoyable bc I can actually use my character’s full toolkit without certain elements being countered 100% of the time. It would definitely be nice to be able to make larger tournaments. 3 fights is so cramped.

Tbh for me it’s the menus. They all feel clunky, and moving from menu to menu takes a really long time. The customization menu, for example, takes waayyy too long to switch from character to character. Every time you switch characters, they have a whole animation before the menus opens, which feels obnoxious. Another example would be the main menu itself. A simple change would be if you could open up a selection screen to change menus, *then* have the animation of Goku moving to whatever menu you selected. Moving from each individual menu is a pain. A third is the shop/customization menu. Once you open the shop, you have to completely quit back to Kame house to go to customization, and vice versa. Sheesh, sorry for the rant😂
We need custom text for custom battle or more dialogue lines. Whatever idea I had, I need to change a lot of it just because the dialogue doesn't fit or are so specific that you can't play with that. I thought we could recreate the movies or official battle but it's not the case. The story mode skipped u6 saga and the pre tournament of power fights. It's pretty extense but it moves so fast through the story. If the story moved slower it would had feel more complete. It's better than bt3 but I expected more about it.
I'm convinced the timing for things is extremely off online. I cannot Z-counter for the life of me online, but I can vanish perfectly fine, and do both really well in offline training. That, plus occasional input lag (depending on connection) and the control bugs in general, sometimes the game just feels a little fucked to play when it DOES work it's an absolute dream though, genuinely near perfection!
As long as the game is always fun, then I don't care. Fighting players online is fun, making custom battles is fun, playing the campaign and unlocking all of the what-if stories is fun. That's all I need.
I'd like to throw in the graphics issue, at least from my experience on PS5. On HDR, it looks super supper saturated and colors are darker. Like how all the kamahameha attacks are purple instead of blue. And on SDR, the game looks a bit washed out, even with all the tweaking I try with the brightness.
The thing that pisses me off the most is that there is only one stage for local coop which sucks because playing the same map over and over will get tiring and boring even with 180 characters. Edit: Also pissed they didn't add beast Gohan
Overall, I love it. I still think Tenkaichi 3 and the Raging Blast game had better, more responsive gameplay (maybe it's just a timing thing on me) and I wish there was some kind of challenge tower where you can take your custom character like in those games as well.
The game is lagging terribly when I play single player mode offline. Two player split screen works much better than even single player for some reason? The game could be more optimized for sure
The “switch character” glitch deadass has me TWEAKING. For whatever reason, it just doesn’t work. Also I feel like the timer for selecting a character should be extended, I’d like an extra 10 seconds.
It takes forever to get in ranked on Xbox. At 11pm last night, I did very lose match preferences going into it and i waited 45 minutes just to see how long I could wait. Didn’t get a match and just turned on TH-cam and went to bed
Seen people say the same thing as well and some people reply “stop capping bruh I get into matches easily”, like why would we lie about that we want to enjoy this game
My only problem with this game is people spam dashing online. It's like literally nobody believes in actually charging ki so we can do moves or have those close range fights ( kid is required for certain up close movements and vanishes)

Spectate connection online servers need a serious update.
I read so many complaints and was expecting a hard fight, but I literally beat him on my first try and barely got hit.
my biggest issues as well. It costs you in clutch moments in matches
You and I are in the same boat.
I also thought great ape vegeta was going to be hard but it was actually just a filter for casuals.
lack of skins is real. they will probably make skin pack dlcs id guess.
also, i was kinda hoping we could customize character skills because in episode battle some chars have different skills. but then again, theres also costumes in episode battle that you just cannot play as, which is stupid.
I was hoping they'd give us Bojack trunks cos that's the coolest looking ever and second coming broly skin but nope
I was very sad to not get a couple of those what-if characters. Hopefully eventually
Honestly the skin ship itself just feels like an excuse to justify having all the Goku and Vegeta outfits and a handful of Z warrior ones, that's it. No alt colors, no cosmetic other than a Halo and a Scouter which you can't even equip on anyone but only specific few characters. The trailers showed that the accessory panel had a bunch of items, even a gun which everyone made a joke about but there is no such thing
they made sure skins was a thing lacking on purpose just to make money out of it
Nah the worst thing is when im using classic controls on online it switches to standard mid match. Annoying bug

@@keiv2211 that's my point devs never fixed it for PC
Yeah but cap at 60 fps won’t change same thing with all if not anime arena fighter like storm 4
The character select menu still looks rough.
Very disconnected no idea why they did it based on character instead of how the previous versions did it via just one saga at a time
It seems like it was made for one saga at a time and they decided to change it last minute.
It's probably just the different endings in the storylines. If it was one storymode that shit would be a UI nightmare@@sovietninja6865

The buttons don’t register like the should though. You can’t do supers, ultimates, or combo consistently. It’s a bug that needs to be patched.
The defensive mechanics struggle when it comes to terrible lag because it requires precise timing which is just nearly impossible to pull off during lag situations
The transforming and getting stuck happened to me a lot
As well as the input delay

Something I'm really not enjoying at all is how tedious it is to trigger the alternative events on some levels of the story mode. Not because it is hard, but because the event you're waiting to happen just doesn't happen.
Like not only is there a delay when it does work but for it to in so many matches never work to the point where I thought you needed available DP slots to be able to transform is crazy
Edit: that said I really wish the training mode was better
My problem with defense registration is actually offline in story mode, but that might be intentional
But regarding great apes - in tenkaichi 2 one was able to break their armor if one just only hits a "bit" harder. In sparking zero triangle down or up won't work.
Was confusing at first
And one counter was removed I rly loved -> pressing x into triangle while an enemy attacked melee to avoid, and hit him in his stomach to stun them. Variation with square is in thee though x:
Also "sonic wave* was removed entirely. I miss that one a lot
It's weird that whenever I read the opponent using a bar to escape I use perception to go to the cool cinematic of counter counter but it rarely works. I press it immidietly after they escape and it doesn't register.
i wish it had rollback netcode and crossplay..

You can counter afterimage strike with Perception or ki blast button

Great video! Ez sub. My gripes below:
• The AI in story mode is a bit tiring to fight, yes, but the difficulty comes in the alternate routes especially. Besides being less exhausting, fighting on easier difficulties is fun because:
• The difficult AI is too limited.
Speaking of…
• The only missed input issues I’ve had specific to online are from two things: first you have to adjust your inputs for lag, especially with vanishes, and second there are once again issues with classic.

Definitely need trunks bojack movie outfit, and it would be cool to get teen gohan with the long hair & saiyan armor like when he first went super saiyan 1
And all the attacks do to much damage. And the ai just sit there and take it😭
To be honest i find the gaint character easy to beat once you learn they're move and attack also use a lot sparking mode and rush attack and if you send them flying use a bean or explotion wave
Yea once you get a feel for the controls its really not that hard
Only complaint is that they want you to pay another 30$ for music that should be in the game
Wish they did actual cutscenes more instead of slides.
I will admit that most of these are real issues, especially the not being able to switch issue
I just subscribed
The amount of people that have absolutely zero clue what they’re talking about in this comment section is ridiculous
This game does a horrible job of teaching you how to play the game the input delay is horrible i try to switch my character it doesn’t work and I time the counter perfectly and it doesn’t register when I do it every time I try to make a tournament match with my friend one of us keep getting disconnected
Nothing about damage? This games insanely high damage for no reason is a Massive problem
That, plus occasional input lag (depending on connection) and the control bugs in general, sometimes the game just feels a little fucked to play
when it DOES work it's an absolute dream though, genuinely near perfection!
Heres the thing...
I like that its not perfect.
Yea
I don't understand how your comfortable paying close to $100 for a game and it not even being a complete experience
If you have it on pc there’s a mod called LFSE
Overall, I love it. I still think Tenkaichi 3 and the Raging Blast game had better, more responsive gameplay (maybe it's just a timing thing on me) and I wish there was some kind of challenge tower where you can take your custom character like in those games as well.
The game is lagging terribly when I play single player mode offline. Two player split screen works much better than even single player for some reason? The game could be more optimized for sure
For what? I play on ps and it's fine. If you are on pc then that's a hardware issue dude
For God's sake, add customization to story mode, Bandai
The “switch character” glitch deadass has me TWEAKING. For whatever reason, it just doesn’t work. Also I feel like the timer for selecting a character should be extended, I’d like an extra 10 seconds.
The lack of customization is pretty jarring.
Visual bug with the change/transform menu. Double dash not working and ki blast instead of ult are the main issues Ive had
Ranked pvp is hell I like it but I get tired so easily, u have to be blocking all the time and dash all the same time is kind of tired sometimes
Sometimes after I switch characters I can’t move
7/10 for the price of the game and the lag i get when the intro start in the world tournament
Ive had it take forever but its rare
You still wrong for dropping the first video cuz it wasn’t out yet
My only problem with this game is people spam dashing online. It's like literally nobody believes in actually charging ki so we can do moves or have those close range fights ( kid is required for certain up close movements and vanishes)
Honestly, perception is super easy.. but before I started, I took the advice to shut off assist. That may be your issue too, idk
The switching and idle transform issue is legitimate. They have to patch these issues. Phenomenal game still.
