You are right on most of the maps you listed say for one, Kame's Lookout - Missing. Space - Missing. Hell - Missing. Beerus's Home World - Missing. Universal Tournament Arena - Missing. Glacier - Missing. The only map that was on your list that actually is in the game is the Destroyed Future City map.
They also left out movie locations and Gt locations which you could make an argument for them not being needed but Xenoverse did included them such as Tree of Might area, the snow village from Broly second coming, Tuffle planet from GT and the mountains in the sky where SS4 Goku fought Super 17. Even them just adding those 4 would be nice or Space of course with earth in the backdrop or the Red Ribbon army base too.

I’m actually very tired of seeing character balance complaints y’all played xenoverse way too much much and are too used to it that shows, the game camera from my prospective plays exactly how I saw it played in the Bt3 and raging blast series and everyone is so used to being able to have a more forgiving reaction time and wider camera angle, stages for split screen couldn’t be implemented because for some reason it tries to load two different games and so when the game says so many things that can be destroyed unlike it’s predecessor it’s gonna crash or make whatever you play on overheat, also I think the destroyed city from the future is in the game it’s just that no one has picked it yet I remember a trailer with future gohan did show it but haven’t seen it since

For me the only problem is that the character selecction screen looks kinda ass. Like, we know there's gonna be a lot of Gokus and Vegetas, but BT3 knew how to hide it better, by only having 3 or 4 main ones, and the transformations being in a separate screen.

Balancing is absolutely not supposed to matter, it’s supposed to be unbalanced. Maps absolutely will be added but even if they aren’t the maps are huge and I’d love to have more maps of course but it isn’t a game breaking thing for me
It is balanced tho. You cant have beerus and whis on the same tame, the dps system balances the game. Balanced does not mean everyone does the same amount of damage or whatever. Theres a lot more to balance then just damage or hp.
I keep seeing people say things like this. If it’s supposed to be unbalanced, then how is online play going to be fun? Unless fun is running into the same characters over and over. I wanna play who I want and still have a chance to beat said characters. I don’t like when I’m forced into a select few characters just so I can keep up.

They remember their dbz game on ps2 back when we didnt play online and when there was no meta or competetive scene and a lot of them dont understand what balance means. Its true that stronger characters do more damage, but weaker character can still have good utility. Also ranked you play with a DP system and beerus consumes 10 out of you 15 dp points, so if you play beerus or some other god tier character, you gonna have less characters om your team. Thats what makesnit balanced.

i think my only REAL gripe with this game is crossplay not being something thats being looked into. it took fighterz forever to get it into their game, just worries me if SZ will even get it at all. its not a big issue since most my friends are getting a ps5 but it still sucks for my 2-3 outlier friends

I agree that the character select screen is very underwhelming. Its just bland with nothing to it. Nothing like the detailed and atmospheric ones on the PS2 an PS3 games, but man it looks bland. Like the Fortnite character select screen mixed with the PSN store. DBZ Kakarot was the last DB game where the HUD and Menus, looked like, its Dragonball, man. It also feels less organized compared to BT3's where the characters were grouped by arc, and had sub-select bars rollout for transformations. And people wanted 2D artwork for the character icons because its BT for a while. Not a deal breaker, but not really pretty. It the most generic select screen for a DB game to date.
Tbf I understand why it didn't have custom 2d art, as unlike the first 3 which got to built off each other they'd have to create each peice from scratch, or in other words commission 182 unique and specialised drawings for every charicter PLUS dlc for the future

Do the select screen like T3 did. Have the roster be the base character, then if you select one with transformations, another screen pops up to select their form.
I had a conversation about this the other day. I hope they don't overdo the super armor for giants or characters like Broly like in tenkaichi 3. Im fine with one or two hits for armor but we're in the modern era so I'm sure we'll see tweaks and updates over time if it becomes a big issue.
The fact that someone argued that broken characters should be banned in online ranked shows not only have they never played tenkaichi, but they never played a legit fighting game lol
I've heard people say the camera gave them motion sickness as well. It does for me too compared to XV. I also think sometimes they overdo it with the effects, especially in the beam clashes, where you can't even see the characters a lot of the time, or in melee clashes, the camera both spins too fast (again it didnt in BT3) and the particle effects cove the character sometimes. The only thing I kind of wish is that the beam clashes were more anime accurate and not doing the whole spinning thing in a shattered dimension the whole time (or only in one angle). The game has a cutscene with Zamasu, clashing with Trunks/Vegeta's Father-Son Galick Gun and it looks exactly closer to what I and a lot of people kind of wanted the beam clashes to be like, instead of what we got. I hope modders can address this and use it as an example, so that maybe NB can update the game with those changes post-launch. If people like it.
“Split-screen was never intended,” but it should have been, that’s the issue we have. There’s no realistic excuse why it should have never been included since the game’s been in development for nearly 10 years according to leaks, and would have had more than enough time to implement such a feature into their in the early stages. Xenoverse 2, for example, allows 2 players to locally play on 6 stages (now 10 due to DLC and later updates), if Sparking Zero had just shown they were pulling a Xenoverse with their split-screen, that woulda been perfectly fine, and they do seem to be doing that with just one stage. Now, the Hyperbolic Time Chamber in Sparking Zero looks like it might be the best map in general, so I’m not exactly complaining, all the matters to me is that I can play with my friends & brother in a game we’re going to love, and I’m more than at peace with that.
As somebody watching all the characters reveals trailers, i just believed the hexagons were the charcter selection screen. I was baffled when i when i was asked to select a character from that 5x5 box. 😢
Having all the tranformations of characters paired together would have helped a bunch. Also, if the character select was a bigger menu with character art and larger icons so it would be easier to tell the characters apart at a distance. Kinda a more traditional character select screen.
I don't think people are trying to say that absolutely no one will use low tier characters cause we know there will be that small group of people. But you are lying to yourself if you don't think a meta will develop and most people/a large portion will abide by it. It happens in literally every fighting game. If you watch any competitive bt3 especially tourneys you will see the same lineup damn near every match. Plus casual gaming is dead in this era and most people especially yns will do damn near anything to win.
And a lot of ppl that are complaining didn’t even play BT as kids, and on top of that the learning curve is very high for this game imo it’s not an easy game to get skilled in so with all the new players coming I feel like there’s gonna be a larger pool of ppl trying out different things
As for tier, BT has always had tier classes. I think people can get used to it if the meta is just categorized between characters and only have online lobbies between characters of high, mid, low, and bottom tiers to balance match ups. Some only for high-tier, some only for mid, etc and one thats open-tier for people who want to fight with no tier limits.
beam struggles have been completely changed in the final build now, its not longer a dimension shatter background and the camera doesnt rapidly spin anymore
My main problem is just the fact you have to be completely focusing to not get whooped for not vanishing or blocking. So even if i’m tired I can’t even play the game correctly.
What’s interesting about the series s is that it’s capable of running black ops 6 60fps stable with GOOD graphics. And many pcs were struggling with it. I checked the specs for sparking zero on pc and they are LOW. Not sure why they can’t optimize the series s for this.
One complain that I have is the fact that characters like Goku feels way too skinny, mainly the triceps and shoulders I feel is a problem. Especially since Super saiyan God form is supposed to make him look even skinnier because it makes him younger, but they haven’t done that because they made him so skinny to begin with. It’s not the end of the world, but I can’t help but notice it as a design flaw. It becomes even more obvious when Goku is in ssj3, looks lanky as fuck

I don’t have a problem with it either. Its doesn’t need to be some dramatic art piece. It serves it purpose and takes advantage of the fast loading times that systems have now. Thats a GOOD thing!!!
Non-flyers fall slowly when airborne and do big upward jumps to ascend. They could still get airborne, even if it meant using Ki to Dragon Dash or something.
In the anime how many times has someone threw a shit load of beams at the opponent only for smoke to cover up the clearly not even scratched foe? That is so cool that this is now a gameplay mechanic. Coker still off the opponent could block it then taunt laughing as the smoke clears
If it's an original map sure, DBZ has been around for decades Kami's look out is not difficult to make, children can make an exact replica on minecraft in 6 hours by themselves, there's really no excuse for a huge company to be missing maps that are iconic.
@Wizofmincraft on the ps2 there was a game called red faction and in the multi-player you could literally destroy the entire map and dig holes in any direction. Gamers have lowered their expectations and have settled for less constantly that's why Battlefield 3 and 4 are better than this new garbage one. And again on a ps3 in Battlefield 3 multi-player there was a lot of shit going on with huge amounts of players on the same map at the same time and everything was destructible, that was 2 whole console generations ago.
I enjoy the fast paced camera it’s supposed to be a completely fast paced game it’s about making quick adjustments, I also enjoy that some characters are over powered. They are supposed to be so I beg for no nerfs in this game.
I am still surprised that the entirety od the universe 6 Tournament arc straight up doesn't exist in the game at all, even the story mode gives like 4 slides to explain the entire arc. Hopefully we'll get a dlc dedicated to that map and the extra universe 6 characters.
i have just some complaint with the charactermodels, Goku is the best example, because i think they could reuse many better shaped model parts of other characters. if i compare Turles and goku base i see how much better turles looks, the muscle structure of him is slightly more buffed, also the neck part,where many have comlainted about. Just take turles model, recolor the skin give him the gi and there is the fixed goku. the same with the ssj hair of goku, Gt Goku and Goten ssj hair have for my opninion the better shaped ssj hair, why not just copie and paste on Goku ssj for mid, end ,super and his blue form. If they going for the artstyle of shintani, i mean his artstyle is actually also like the z Version is just with lesser Details, one of Shintanis Artworks in 2019 on Goku Day, where we can see Goku in all his Forms exept UI, all of them are really Muscular even Ssjg version. The Blue form in this Artwork shares some similarity with Namek Goku and his Fluffy ssj form. If the Developer aiming really for the artstyle of shintani, then they missing a bit the Point for some character. Dabura, Full power Freezer, Spopovic, the GT character and the Movie Character, expet of z Broly, have the look how all characters should look like. It is the same like with food what we eat, we eat also with the eyes. This Game would be for fans and maybe non fans even tastier to buy the Game. Exept some of my Complaints i think for the most parts the game will be very successfull.
I think Turles looks a bit skinny compared to how he was in BT and the movie. He was a bit more stocky because of his muscles being so thick. SSJ3 Goku is a bit too thin, and Android 13's waist is a bit too narrow, compared to his model in BT3 and RB2. I am also a bit disappointed that SSB and SSG Goku doesn't have an alt that looks closer to SSB in the Super anime/ROF movie.
Forgot the biggest complain I've seen (and that I highly share because it's literally the only one I have), which is the beams being too thin and the explosions being all the same. I'd love if they imported most of the visuals for special attacks from DB: Kakarot, they really got the beams and explosions down in that one. It's my ONLY complain with the game right now. Love everything else (not the character selection but I could get pass that if we got bigger beams)
Actually for the point system, in future if someone finds the a character that is op and has less distraction points which unbalance the rank mode, then what Bandai can do is just to inc that op’s points instead of nerfing characters . Simple idea I guess
All Iam concerned about the most is Game play/Graphics. It actually plays like the series so the camera is going to do that.Even the series shows the characters in a blurr effect to depict how fast they are going.The stages everything looks good so far.
For a few reasons I suspect this game is rushed They have to deliver quality and the deadline is too short I think stages will be an issue and they will have to fix it with DLC This game gonna cook regardless
The inconsistent artstyle issue is strongest with Vegeta For some reason Z Vegetas look soft while Super Vegeta has that classic Z look which looks best on Vegeta imo past saiyan saga
Working on stages creation are way more harder than the characters, especially when it's also including stage destruction. Also this game might also give us either paid or free stage update, so at this point it's just a matter of time.
The point system might have the same flaw it had back in BT3. It's going to be a mess if the cost of characters is determined by how strong they were in the anime because that doesn't mean they'll be strong in the game as well. Some of the strongest characters in BT3 had low cost while weak characters had much higher cost.
@@sky-oq5mr Nah, Cell perfect form AKA the BEST character in the game only costs 7, Burter (2nd best character) only cost 4 and other top characters such as Trunks (base) costs 5, Arale 5, Babidi 4. If you set DP to 20 you can make a team with the 2 best characters (Cell and Burter) and still have room for 1 more top tier like Trunks, Arale or 17 and 1 high tier like Piccolo.
with the idea of online metas, there will be character who stand at the peak (look at broly in 3) but some people just like characters enough no matter what, I'm going to use broly because he's my favourite character. It's why i use lil mac in smash, i like punching in games, it feels cool, but he's low tier, but the fun of the character matters more.
Broly isn’t even close to actually being the best character in bt3 dude, a lot of you haven’t even touched the games on a level past casual and think you know things. My only problem is the defense system for controller players on standard especially the super counter mechanic being up LS + X that’s dumb in my eyes mainly because it never reads no matter if u mash it or hold it and has no connection to our other two defense mechanics being rb and b. It would make sense if it was rb and b so u can actually hit the time window properly I believe this could be fixed if they gave us the option the change it like our other defenses which also makes me mad
Definitely NOT “Goty”, maybe best graphics and cinematics (pause) ,but that button layout is unnecessary and the smoothness of movement isn’t consistent, on top of the inability to get counters attacks to respond at times when you are on the defensive caught by a combination attack (u get locked into the cinematic effect 👎🏾)…. If I could’ve refunded it I would have … and I haven’t played story mode at all, my opinion is solely based on my experience in training sessions and pvp modes… these schematics won’t be forgiving to New players or passive players regardless of standard or classic controls …
Been playing goku’s story The only fights I’ve been having trouble with is great ape vegeta, goku black, & jiren because the fights end up becoming who can teleport first behind the persons back
Interesting issues you bring up but you're coping for alot of them. I agree theres a POSSIBILITY maps might just not have been shown yet but it's kind of cope to assume they just haven't been shown and that they will be in the full game. Also the lack of loading screens has nothing to do with the character select looking bad. They could make it look better and still load us straight into the match, that's a completely seperate thing.
All these complaints are odd. Stages can get added later, models can change, unbalanced and no bans are the appeal of this series, all games have camera issue and we should be grateful they put in extra work to make split screen even work. Like the only one i can kinda agree with is the select screen and even that can change. I dont think the game is going to be unplayable if the character select screen isnt perfect.
Stages will be sold... in a 80$ title. (Proof music packs being 20$) Models have never changed in any Bandai games. Game feels empty for USD80$/CAD115$
Imma be honest complaints from anybody before the game comes out has to become non valid at some point… I learned from Apex the hard way the more streamers start complaining the more the game will struggle before it might die out literally… character balancing should be irrelevant especially if you got 200 characters on the roster. I don't get the character select thing, who cares, that is like the last thing they should spend money on as a dev team. Are people just sitting in the character select, or are they playing the game?
Honestly the character select screen is fine. But it would have been nice to have the transformations show after you click on the base character. So you wouldnt have so much versions of characters spread out. Just like they did in bt3. It would look cleaner and easier to find the characters you wanna play. Honestly dont care much about it but i do understand the criticism. But yeah not that important anyway
My only problem is teen gohan from his fighting style to his charging stance to his muscle definition and his height itself. I wish they made him look like he was in bt3
I saw the stream they had where kazunoko used the genyu force against shaka who had gogeta blue and other top tier characters and he lost to the geniyu force he is a good player but having 5 characters is a big advantage so I am not worried about balance

My only complaint is that the super moves list always shows up in game when you charge ki or do a special attack, so far seems no option to toggle it on or off
I remember watching TGS and one guy had Vegito and one more character, and the other player had the whole squad of Ginyu Force. Im guessing the DP system was at work there.

i think my only REAL gripe with this game is crossplay not being something thats being looked into. it took fighterz forever to get it into their game, just worries me if SZ will even get it at all. its not a big issue since most my friends are getting a ps5 but it still sucks for my 2-3 outlier friends
they said they were trying to make it possible but at minimum expect a year before crossplay

I agree that the character select screen is very underwhelming. Its just bland with nothing to it. Nothing like the detailed and atmospheric ones on the PS2 an PS3 games, but man it looks bland. Like the Fortnite character select screen mixed with the PSN store. DBZ Kakarot was the last DB game where the HUD and Menus, looked like, its Dragonball, man. It also feels less organized compared to BT3's where the characters were grouped by arc, and had sub-select bars rollout for transformations.
And people wanted 2D artwork for the character icons because its BT for a while. Not a deal breaker, but not really pretty. It the most generic select screen for a DB game to date.

Do the select screen like T3 did. Have the roster be the base character, then if you select one with transformations, another screen pops up to select their form.
I had a conversation about this the other day. I hope they don't overdo the super armor for giants or characters like Broly like in tenkaichi 3. Im fine with one or two hits for armor but we're in the modern era so I'm sure we'll see tweaks and updates over time if it becomes a big issue.

I've heard people say the camera gave them motion sickness as well. It does for me too compared to XV.
I also think sometimes they overdo it with the effects, especially in the beam clashes, where you can't even see the characters a lot of the time, or in melee clashes, the camera both spins too fast (again it didnt in BT3) and the particle effects cove the character sometimes.
The only thing I kind of wish is that the beam clashes were more anime accurate and not doing the whole spinning thing in a shattered dimension the whole time (or only in one angle). The game has a cutscene with Zamasu, clashing with Trunks/Vegeta's Father-Son Galick Gun and it looks exactly closer to what I and a lot of people kind of wanted the beam clashes to be like, instead of what we got.
I hope modders can address this and use it as an example, so that maybe NB can update the game with those changes post-launch. If people like it.
“Split-screen was never intended,” but it should have been, that’s the issue we have. There’s no realistic excuse why it should have never been included since the game’s been in development for nearly 10 years according to leaks, and would have had more than enough time to implement such a feature into their in the early stages. Xenoverse 2, for example, allows 2 players to locally play on 6 stages (now 10 due to DLC and later updates), if Sparking Zero had just shown they were pulling a Xenoverse with their split-screen, that woulda been perfectly fine, and they do seem to be doing that with just one stage. Now, the Hyperbolic Time Chamber in Sparking Zero looks like it might be the best map in general, so I’m not exactly complaining, all the matters to me is that I can play with my friends & brother in a game we’re going to love, and I’m more than at peace with that.
As somebody watching all the characters reveals trailers, i just believed the hexagons were the charcter selection screen. I was baffled when i when i was asked to select a character from that 5x5 box. 😢
Having all the tranformations of characters paired together would have helped a bunch. Also, if the character select was a bigger menu with character art and larger icons so it would be easier to tell the characters apart at a distance. Kinda a more traditional character select screen.
I also want the Tuffle Planet from GT.
I don't think people are trying to say that absolutely no one will use low tier characters cause we know there will be that small group of people. But you are lying to yourself if you don't think a meta will develop and most people/a large portion will abide by it. It happens in literally every fighting game. If you watch any competitive bt3 especially tourneys you will see the same lineup damn near every match. Plus casual gaming is dead in this era and most people especially yns will do damn near anything to win.

And a lot of ppl that are complaining didn’t even play BT as kids, and on top of that the learning curve is very high for this game imo it’s not an easy game to get skilled in so with all the new players coming I feel like there’s gonna be a larger pool of ppl trying out different things

As for tier, BT has always had tier classes. I think people can get used to it if the meta is just categorized between characters and only have online lobbies between characters of high, mid, low, and bottom tiers to balance match ups. Some only for high-tier, some only for mid, etc and one thats open-tier for people who want to fight with no tier limits.
beam struggles have been completely changed in the final build now, its not longer a dimension shatter background and the camera doesnt rapidly spin anymore
My main problem is just the fact you have to be completely focusing to not get whooped for not vanishing or blocking. So even if i’m tired I can’t even play the game correctly.
What’s interesting about the series s is that it’s capable of running black ops 6 60fps stable with GOOD graphics. And many pcs were struggling with it. I checked the specs for sparking zero on pc and they are LOW. Not sure why they can’t optimize the series s for this.
One complain that I have is the fact that characters like Goku feels way too skinny, mainly the triceps and shoulders I feel is a problem. Especially since Super saiyan God form is supposed to make him look even skinnier because it makes him younger, but they haven’t done that because they made him so skinny to begin with. It’s not the end of the world, but I can’t help but notice it as a design flaw. It becomes even more obvious when Goku is in ssj3, looks lanky as fuck
Goku wasn't skinny when he was younger. He was bigger than his cell and buu saga self

Non-flyers fall slowly when airborne and do big upward jumps to ascend. They could still get airborne, even if it meant using Ki to Dragon Dash or something.

If it's an original map sure, DBZ has been around for decades Kami's look out is not difficult to make, children can make an exact replica on minecraft in 6 hours by themselves, there's really no excuse for a huge company to be missing maps that are iconic.

@Wizofmincraft on the ps2 there was a game called red faction and in the multi-player you could literally destroy the entire map and dig holes in any direction. Gamers have lowered their expectations and have settled for less constantly that's why Battlefield 3 and 4 are better than this new garbage one. And again on a ps3 in Battlefield 3 multi-player there was a lot of shit going on with huge amounts of players on the same map at the same time and everything was destructible, that was 2 whole console generations ago.

I enjoy the fast paced camera it’s supposed to be a completely fast paced game it’s about making quick adjustments, I also enjoy that some characters are over powered. They are supposed to be so I beg for no nerfs in this game.
I am still surprised that the entirety od the universe 6 Tournament arc straight up doesn't exist in the game at all, even the story mode gives like 4 slides to explain the entire arc. Hopefully we'll get a dlc dedicated to that map and the extra universe 6 characters.
i have just some complaint with the charactermodels, Goku is the best example, because i think they could reuse many better shaped model parts of other characters. if i compare Turles and goku base i see how much better turles looks, the muscle structure of him is slightly more buffed, also the neck part,where many have comlainted about. Just take turles model, recolor the skin give him the gi and there is the fixed goku. the same with the ssj hair of goku, Gt Goku and Goten ssj hair have for my opninion the better shaped ssj hair, why not just copie and paste on Goku ssj for mid, end ,super and his blue form.
If they going for the artstyle of shintani, i mean his artstyle is actually also like the z Version is just with lesser Details, one of Shintanis Artworks in 2019 on Goku Day, where we can see Goku in all his Forms exept UI, all of them are really Muscular even Ssjg version. The Blue form in this Artwork shares some similarity with Namek Goku and his Fluffy ssj form. If the Developer aiming really for the artstyle of shintani, then they missing a bit the Point for some character. Dabura, Full power Freezer, Spopovic, the GT character and the Movie Character, expet of z Broly, have the look how all characters should look like. It is the same like with food what we eat, we eat also with the eyes. This Game would be for fans and maybe non fans even tastier to buy the Game.
Exept some of my Complaints i think for the most parts the game will be very successfull.
I think Turles looks a bit skinny compared to how he was in BT and the movie. He was a bit more stocky because of his muscles being so thick.
SSJ3 Goku is a bit too thin, and Android 13's waist is a bit too narrow, compared to his model in BT3 and RB2.
I am also a bit disappointed that SSB and SSG Goku doesn't have an alt that looks closer to SSB in the Super anime/ROF movie.
Forgot the biggest complain I've seen (and that I highly share because it's literally the only one I have), which is the beams being too thin and the explosions being all the same.
I'd love if they imported most of the visuals for special attacks from DB: Kakarot, they really got the beams and explosions down in that one. It's my ONLY complain with the game right now. Love everything else (not the character selection but I could get pass that if we got bigger beams)
Actually for the point system, in future if someone finds the a character that is op and has less distraction points which unbalance the rank mode, then what Bandai can do is just to inc that op’s points instead of nerfing characters . Simple idea I guess

All Iam concerned about the most is Game play/Graphics. It actually plays like the series so the camera is going to do that.Even the series shows the characters in a blurr effect to depict how fast they are going.The stages everything looks good so far.

The point system might have the same flaw it had back in BT3. It's going to be a mess if the cost of characters is determined by how strong they were in the anime because that doesn't mean they'll be strong in the game as well. Some of the strongest characters in BT3 had low cost while weak characters had much higher cost.
Naw, only 17 had a low cost the other top tiers had a decent cost.
@@sky-oq5mr Nah, Cell perfect form AKA the BEST character in the game only costs 7, Burter (2nd best character) only cost 4 and other top characters such as Trunks (base) costs 5, Arale 5, Babidi 4.
If you set DP to 20 you can make a team with the 2 best characters (Cell and Burter) and still have room for 1 more top tier like Trunks, Arale or 17 and 1 high tier like Piccolo.
Kinda wish the beams had bulk to them like back then but visually they still look good.
with the idea of online metas, there will be character who stand at the peak (look at broly in 3) but some people just like characters enough no matter what, I'm going to use broly because he's my favourite character. It's why i use lil mac in smash, i like punching in games, it feels cool, but he's low tier, but the fun of the character matters more.
Broly isn’t even close to actually being the best character in bt3 dude, a lot of you haven’t even touched the games on a level past casual and think you know things. My only problem is the defense system for controller players on standard especially the super counter mechanic being up LS + X that’s dumb in my eyes mainly because it never reads no matter if u mash it or hold it and has no connection to our other two defense mechanics being rb and b. It would make sense if it was rb and b so u can actually hit the time window properly I believe this could be fixed if they gave us the option the change it like our other defenses which also makes me mad
My main issue is theres many times i just feel input delay that ruins the flow of combat. Im not the only one ive seen say it either.
Definitely NOT “Goty”, maybe best graphics and cinematics (pause) ,but that button layout is unnecessary and the smoothness of movement isn’t consistent, on top of the inability to get counters attacks to respond at times when you are on the defensive caught by a combination attack (u get locked into the cinematic effect 👎🏾)…. If I could’ve refunded it I would have … and I haven’t played story mode at all, my opinion is solely based on my experience in training sessions and pvp modes… these schematics won’t be forgiving to New players or passive players regardless of standard or classic controls …
Been playing goku’s story
The only fights I’ve been having trouble with is great ape vegeta, goku black, & jiren because the fights end up becoming who can teleport first behind the persons back

Interesting issues you bring up but you're coping for alot of them. I agree theres a POSSIBILITY maps might just not have been shown yet but it's kind of cope to assume they just haven't been shown and that they will be in the full game. Also the lack of loading screens has nothing to do with the character select looking bad. They could make it look better and still load us straight into the match, that's a completely seperate thing.
All these complaints are odd. Stages can get added later, models can change, unbalanced and no bans are the appeal of this series, all games have camera issue and we should be grateful they put in extra work to make split screen even work.
Like the only one i can kinda agree with is the select screen and even that can change. I dont think the game is going to be unplayable if the character select screen isnt perfect.

Lore accuracy is better than "balance". Tier listing characters began with smash bros melee. It was made by the players who won tournaments. A player's mastery determines true tier.

Honestly the character select screen is fine. But it would have been nice to have the transformations show after you click on the base character. So you wouldnt have so much versions of characters spread out. Just like they did in bt3. It would look cleaner and easier to find the characters you wanna play.

I saw the stream they had where kazunoko used the genyu force against shaka who had gogeta blue and other top tier characters and he lost to the geniyu force he is a good player but having 5 characters is a big advantage so I am not worried about balance
I feel like the character select screen “problem” is really nitpicking because it’s like the smallest thing ever and it does not really affect you in any way gameplay wise
My only complaint is that the super moves list always shows up in game when you charge ki or do a special attack, so far seems no option to toggle it on or off
