    Sometimes I write everything down in my journal when I'm going through one of these loops. It's hard to Fe in any meaningful way in the USA. The whole system is set up to keep us superficial and in solitary confinement....but there I go with the Ni-Ti rabbit hole. I've always felt like I'm all dressed up with nowhere to go. INFJ---very challenging in a superficial materialistic era. We once were the Shamans and sages. We were the ones who were revered. The ones with insight and vision connected to core truth, and the village looked to us for direction. One of my colleagues actually said to me that no one is interested in truth anymore. What a world. My salvation is exploring the spiritual side of things in a deep way and writing about it. Thank you for your profound insight of the INFJ world. You have helped me a lot.

  • @ivorytorea
    @ivorytorea 4 ปีที่แล้ว +20

    Yeah I always described it as me trying to solve what lies at the innermost core of the universe and for that I simulate whole universes in my head, every day, every hour, every minute I create universes and destroy them all in my mind in the search for a link to the truth of what really holds the world together at its innermost core...meanwhile other people enjoy the movie and have time to have a good time.

      @@DavidBadurina Definitely...I guess it´s something that I will have to work on. The fact that I did not think of this as in any way weird before, as in...this is just how I am and I would better stop that is quite amazing. I am slowly coming around in my journey from the last few days to grouping myself as an INFJ due to the descriptions of what they/we are and how we think and what we typically do to more solution orientated stuff so quite honestly I am overwhelmed with a lot of this, it´s gonna be a journey. Like said, I will need therapy, there isn´t even any way around that anymore. I am just happy by the prospect that I can have an influence on this thoughtprocess even tho I am not fully sure on how to yet and were I am going forward from here. uhm...I also with looking around for these videos find something that is triggering me to some degree again, there is a lot of INFJs out there it seems. Well...not really I guess, but a lot of people that either get this result or are pretending to be because it sounds cool. I am very happy having found people in these videos and in the comments that I can suddenly relate to but I know I have never met or at least never identified any person like me in my real life surrounding. This barrier is not something I would have ever wished on anyone. The notion that I could misdiagnose myself from these tests and feelings or not be that special after all is actually quite irritating. On top of that the prospect of some peoples videos that were rather aggressive at the notion of INFJ people "suddenly thinking" that they are so special or whatnot. It´s like a final FU from the world that having a surrounding like that ridicule those traits all my life but then also jumping at the possibility of inhabiting the feeling of being something special for themselves trying to take that newfound freedom away from me again. It´s just an extra layer of mistrust towards myself and wanting to hide it again...but I guess you also made a video about something like that (actually I was just about to watch your video about the imposter syndrome before I saw this popping up...I guess I should have done that first). Anyways enough of that, thank you for the videos, thanks for the answer btw that is really cool of you. I am looking forward to watching and learning the rest of it. And like said, I will need some help that I will get myself so then I will hopefully also learn to deal with...all this more coherently and get better at being a functioning human being without destroying myself in the process of it. I am happy I found your stuff.

    Hi David - After my cancer diagnosis ( I did chemo, radiation, and surgery and I am fine), I was stuck in Ni-Ti loop ! Without the Lord, two psychologist , Prozac, and Xanax would have not gotten out of it. One psychologist was for regular stuff and the other one was a cancer psychologist to deal with cancer issues.Loved your illustration , exactly what it was like. Sometimes the cast of characters sometimes aren't ridiculous. The spider cow was funny !

    From my point of view, the Ni-Ti combinaton is our strength as INFJ, and the problem arises (according to me) when one or both of these functions do not work (and when they are replaced by their extroverted counterparts proccessed internally - which is the key of the problem). Here, it is Ne (what if questions) and Te (wiki Information) that make things worse (as these mostly useless inputs are proccessed internally). If they were externally, they could be simply ignored or used (if they seem to be alble to play some helpful role).

He found said spider 🕷 and he put it outside, then asked “are you happy now”, yes I’m happy now,.....but it’s going to get down to freezing tonight 🥶 so...... oh gosh what if it freezes now that it’s outside, he was inside where it was warm, now it’s outside where it’s cold.....do you think you should go get it?, Really said my husband, he has never understood why, or how I would even think of such things, this gave him a new insight as to why I do what I do, we thank you 🙏 for this

    There's another theory on top of this, which is the "jumper" theory from Objective Personality. Where jumper INFJ would jumps 2nd function Fe and favor Ti as their aux function instead, of course still keeping Ni as king of the land and Se being the scary undeveloped function. I think there's some merit to this, because I would say I (an long term INFJ) have favor Ti equally and even more than Fe in the past and present.

    Here I go again, thanking you:
    I was in a giant loop for half a year, without even knowing it. My fellow INFJ friend saw it, my parents somehow thought I had anxiety (so did I, because patterns seemed to say that, on the physiological side)
    But I see now that it was Ni-Ti looping and I see now why me talking out my feelings with my INFJ friend or any of my friends who care about me and will listen without judgment or throw Feeling-esque bricks at my head helped me so much.
    I need Feeling in my life, I need the feel good kitten videos, the goofy stuff from cartoons or even (yeah, totally laughed at this video) videos like this - anything to feel...human, connected, etc.
    I don't mind being on my own for long periods, but I can get very stuck in my head and running in circles if I dont take the time to talk to others or at least listen to my music and dance to it like a goof and not care that I do it (no one's around anyway)
    You ever do stuff like that? Seems so lol. I'm not making fun of you- I just , in short, feel ...inspired and motivated by this video because it explains what happened in my head in a way that finally clicks , ya know?
    It's a real nifty and useful thing you're doing with these videos. I hope you keep going =)
