  • Gadgeteer is an intriguing puzzle game that allows you to make your own Rube Goldberg machines and share them online. But is it any fun?

    I usually wait for Bryan’s review before purchasing a psvr game (as I’m sure we all do) but this game was intriguing to me and couldn’t agree more with Bryan’s review. Gadgeteer is a very relaxing game that offers the thrill of the feeling of accomplishment. Enjoying my time with Gadgeteer. Thank you, Bryan for being the most trusted game journalist out there. Really appreciate your work and breaking down reviews better than any other game journalist I know. 😺

      Same. I know it's something I'll love playing, but even then, I'll get stuck and get bored and move on 🙁

    Great review! Before watching I actually didn't realize this game had preset puzzles, I thought it was just a sandbox building tool, so now I'm really interested and might pick it up someday

    I find it highly suspect when a developer uses the phrase "intuitive controls." But, it's very satisfying when a REVIEW says "intuitive controls."
    Thanks for this, Bryan! Definitely checking this one out. Digital toys? Come on-ah!!

    Looks like a game you hop into and think you played 30 minutes but when you get out you’ve been playing for 2 hours.

    I love the idea of it (always been a big fan of the Pitagora Switch videos from the early TH-cam days, totally recommended btw) but I don't think I'd have the patience for this kind of game.
    I just love watching other people do this. 😂

    Plot twist: At the end of the game you find out you've been putting together one giant Rube Goldberg machine just to let Chunk in the gate. :-P

    seems strange that you only use 1 move controller (or is the other one used for moving through the space?)

    • @WithoutParole
      @WithoutParole  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      I used two Move controllers for the whole game. The left one holds up your inventory, while you grab and place items with your right (unless you're left handed, of course.) :D

    • @The_Keh27
      @The_Keh27 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@WithoutParole ah, that makes sense yeah. F8gured though when not having the inventory up you could use it like a second hand to turn pieces, etc.
