Would be helpful to know how to add an additional search criteria for a lookup field on lightning... e.g.: Case object, field Account (lookup), and be able to search by "Name" or "Account Number" on the Account field.

Watching this video in 2022, there are a lot of things which have changed in search layout and there are more than 40 fields now. also NO SEARCH FIELDS option anymore, can you make an updated video or just guide me here on search results?

In my Org there is no 6 standard fields in the search layout - Lookup Dialogs , search filters etc where do i get these fields help me out from that .
As the platform has been updated so this UI isn't available anymore, so now all these six things are controlled by search layouts only.

But it is not available today in lightning lookup dialogue
Yes you are somewhat right, but when you search on ligtning input a dropdown appears and when you click on the dropdown " search ..." option then the popup appears.
