Thanks Manoj, what happens to existing records when you are given higher access than before? You mentioned that when lower access is given existing reports are listed but no longer accessible. What happens in the opposite case, when higher access is given?
Hi Manoj, By 25:13 you created two tasks. One assigned to admin user and another one assigned to restrict sales user. But at 25:13 We could not see other task record which are assigned to restrict sales user since you are still logged in with admin user. I don't understand why we are not able to see all the tasks (in the Video at 25:13 ) because later in the video you mentioned restriction rules does not applies to the admin user. Let me know if I am missing something here?
Thanks for the question. Admin user with View All will supercede everything. Hence restriction rules doesn't apply to them. And I encourage you to test scenario I covered in the demo session at your dev org. Practical experience will help you understand.
Excelente. Gracias.
Thanks

Good video on Restriction Rules.
Glad you think so!

Our pleasure!
We can't use restriction rules on opportunity right?
Thanks Manoj,

Hi Manoj,
You said, Restriction rules work efficeintly in Lightning, rather than classic.
Do you know the exact reason why it is?
No one use classic now
What I am told is.. certain sharing mechanism related to restriction rules works effectively in lightning
We can restrict this with sharing rule criteria also right
Sorry.. for which usecase are you referring to?
Sharing rule is not to restrict but to open the access further after OWD. Don’t get confused.
