Henrik has always been my favorite, the big brother breaking the wind and paving the way for the brothers, self sacrificing. Ingrid all the best and good health to you! ps. It's crazy that Norway does not pay any reward prize for the gold medalists, while others get 100k easily.

Henrik is severely underrated, his fire and personality. I feel sad that he has to break the wind :/

Thank you this is a decent interview with some really good questions for both athletes.

I like Henrik`s views on talent. I tell my kids the same thing. If you want something focus on it and you will get better at it. People that can juggle Rubik`s cubes while they solve them didn`t wake up and just be able to do it. Same with running it`s a skill that needs to be developed.

And You need to continue practicing - I don't run as fast and much as I did 50 years ago (...) but still doing quite OK. Regarding Rubik's cube, which I sometimes did in less than a minute 35-40 years ago, I forgot most of it within a few years after I stopped practicing... Other things I never stopped doing and in those areas it is still working.

and is stepping down as coach for Team Ingebrigtsen, according to the Norwagian

Yes, they both speak English well. Really gonna be fun to see Ingrid race the next few years. To be able to train with 3 fast brothers is going to help a ton as long as she doesn't overdo it.

Great way of life, great achievements of the Ingebrigtsen family, very nice and entertaining to follow them on yt. And Ingrid is obviously growing into a pretty young lady who will give Gjert headaches soon when warding off her admirers....🤣

Yes, Jakob and his siblings have trained very hard indeed, but he is not the same as everyone else. There is a base of good genes there to build on. Not everyone has that level of good genetics.
