I like this programme. I've been reminded that at my age - 77 - I need to be very careful and try my very best not to fall . Just good reminders , for example no tiny legos in the house when there are small children ...And I loved how the daughters called their mum every day to check on her . Even a 2 min call is such comfort ...
Falling is one of the biggest risks to seniors. I worked with seniors and hospice for several years. I lost one client due to a fall. She broke her leg in more than one place. She was 98 and barely 100 pounds. Her body couldn’t take the stress and she passed about a week later. Very important to clear clutter, throw rugs, etc. pretty sure non-profits will do a walk thru and check your home. Gotta shoot for **100** 💕💕
I got my hip replaced and waiting g for the other to be fixed.. I understand luv. We do have to be careful. I fell and waited hours for my roommate to find me and help me back up in my wheelchair. Be careful all xxx bless
When i listened to Augusta speak of her mum it brought a tear to my eye, what love she showed. How blessed are they both. And Ellen also so loved by her children all lucky in their mums and mums lucky in their children so sad Ellen didnt pull through may she RIP

I truly love this channel, but this one made me cry. No one is ever ready to say good-bye to their Mom. I lost my Mom when I was 33 and I’ve now lived nearly 34 years without her. She was the best mother. I still think of her pretty much every day.
Oh Dr Sammy you are gorgeous, beautiful eyes and amazing smile. You’re a very intelligent, talented and conscientious young lady and are so caring and will make an amazing Dr.
I’m in love with Mr Duffy. When Augusta spoke of her mother she has a kind soul. I would enjoy everyone of you as friends. He reminds me, Martin, of the movie US “Grumpy Old Men” with Jack Lemmon and Walter Matthew. It’s an older movie but timeless. Prayers to Ellen’s family
Two sparrows sell for a coin of very little value, do they not? Yet not one of them falls to the ground without your Father's knowledge. But even the hairs of your head are all numbered. So have no fear you are worth more than many sparrows. Matthew 10: 29,30
You know what? I am absofukinglutely, all in , with Martin. If I needed surgery right now, at my age, in my shape; I would pray to go under anaesthesia.
Gut pain is truly terrible..I went through a nightmare scenario with mine because I didn’t have any stones on ultrasound..I got accused by an ER doc of being a “drug seeker.” After multiple visits, agony, they did the specialized scan and said “oh my, your gall bladder needs to come out!” It took months…not only pain, but a malevolent nausea combined with pain to just be horrible. Luckily it was so bad my brain has blocked the exact feeling. I have learned however to never say “x is the worst pain ever..” cause it turns out each body part can surprise you very unpleasantly with just how much it can hurt, lol…
@donna, I so enjoy these shows, but I mostly enjoy seeing your regular comments, sometimes two, each day! They always make me smile 😊. Have a wonderful weekend💐

She had a bleeding ulcer in her stomach, and it appears she had vomited it out, perhaps the reason she was on the ground is that she fell over while doing so.

They're all the same, they have to feel, despite the fact that he knows he's going to hurt her, and yet, even before seeing him, the scan was already planned. Why do they have to do it this way? I've got a spot on my back that can't be touched, well you know what, it always gets touched and then I'm in pain for two weeks despite the warnings. Do you like to see your patient in pain?
Says you. What, if there's not a motorbike crash victim then it's boring? Don't worry - you'll be old someday too and then you'll take more notice of people's struggles with dementia and brain bleeds and such.
Awe. Ellen sounded like a great Mom and was a very resourceful person. Rest in Peace, my dear.

345 patients a day ? How many Doctors and how many Nurses in A and E ?
There are other sections that are not filmed. There is a children’s section too.
But that is a large number, isn’t it.
Mr Duffy needs to adopt an older dog or cat. That's my prescription.😊
