- Tribute vid in memory of the '60s singing legend Gene Pitney set to Queen's 'No One But You'. This was made just a few short days after Mr Pitney's passing back in 2006 - the song came on my MP3 player and it just brought so many amazing memories back that I had to make this - so rather emotionally fuelled, and I still find it impossible to watch without those memories flooding back, even 6 years later.

...as a Hartford to Rockville transplant, from 1965, thank you mom and dad, I remember GP. His presence and music is always resounded here. The electricity still remaims...The "Rockville Rocket"," will remain alive for a very long time. Many of us here in town are very proud and still carry the banner of time for GP. May those of us here in the "Town without pity", who still live here, carry on and lift a chin and glass in honor of GP to his life and songs forever....Amen.
Gene was the greatest composer & singer I've seen in over 50 years of pop history. He was amazingly charismatic on stage & a gentleman all the time. Long live his music.

I grew up listening to Gene Pitney's songs. I've watched many of his interviews and saw what a truly caring gentleman he was. You never heard anything bad about this man. His music, his fans and his family were his life. I only wish he was still here. RIP, Mr. Pitney. I miss you.
I have always loved the OLDIES. This is my PARENTS era. I loved ALL HIS MUSIC. I had a cassette that had ALL HIS BIG HITS on it. I would sing with the STEREO. I LOVE his VOICE. I always would watch PBS, when they would have the singer's from the 50's, 60's, 70's and 80's on and do their HIT SONGS. GENE PITNEY, never was on the PBS specials. That would of been GREAT if they had him on. R.I.P. GENE PITNEY

I had the privilege of being at Genes last concert and after a wonderful night the shock of hearing he had passed in the night was nearly too much to bear !!! rest in peace Gene, gone but never forgotten ❤❤

This is the most moving tribute that i have ever seen. I am a lifelong fan of Gene Pitney...ever since I first heard "I Wanna Love My Life Away". I was lucky enough to see him in concert many times, and even went to visit his Rockville home here in Connecticut in 1965. I attended his wake, and his charming wife Lynne was so nice...she was actually comforting me. I still find it hard to believe that he is gone. Thank you for this beautiful tribute. RIP Gene.

I grew up with genes music from about 8 years old my older brother keept playing it so I was hooked and still an and I'm now65 went to a concert in Lewisham lovely tribute to gene RIP your songs will go on forever gene love you and blessings to your family xx

My mother & I were due to see Gene on his UK tour at the Colston Hall in Bristol but sadly he died the day before after his performance at St Davids Hall in Cardiff. We were devastated at his passing. He was a true gentleman. His voice was unrivalled & singers of his ability only come around once in a lifetime!!!! Thank you for all your work in putting this tribute together you can tell a lot of thought has gone into it. I found it very moving. God Bless you.

i loved gene from the first time i saw him i went to see him at the white rock theatre here in hastings i took my drawing i had done of gene for him to sighn it but he never came out to autograh he died two weeks later god bless you gene your were my hero rip you should still be here love you always xxxxxxx

How is this 'click bait'? The title clearly states that it's a 'Gene Pitney Memorial Tribute' and has done for the 8 years it has been on this channel (and even the 5+ years before that wherever on the net it resided). I make no money whatsoever from this vid - it was created for the sole purpose of showing my love and respect of the great singer. What would I get out of misleading people?
