Liu Kang has always been my favorite character because he's the Mortal Kombat Champion. In Mortal Kombat the movie, he defeated Outworld sorcerer Shang Tsung.
You can’t be serious?!? MK for SNES was the worst port of a coin op game I’ve ever played. I returned it two days after I bought it. The Street Fighter ports were nearly 100% identical with the only differences being a missing bonus stage and slightly smaller characters. MK for the SNES was a clunky mess with horrible controls that made it nearly unplayable.
You cannot face Reptile with Liu Kang, because to perform his fatality you have to use ‘block’, and the condition to unlock Reptile is not to use ‘block’.
The Mortal Kombat port to SNES was HORRENDOUS!!! I remember all the hype: Mortal Monday on September 13! I was at the video game store immediately after school to buy my copy. Then I returned the game two days later due to it being so bad. I don’t know what the prople at SNES were thinking. 🤦♂️
Hahaha love that move at 4:20. Miss these games man, the old days were the best. Totally forgot about that part where you chop the wood blocks too lol
Yes. That’s why we are here, to remind you of all the fun we had back in the day.
In this game, Liu Kang was played by actor Ho Sung Pak. Pak also played Shang Tsung too.

Damn straight man
He also impregnated Princess Kitana when he tapped that sweet ass after she went all Hawk Tua on that thang
I do remember when i first play and liu kang was the start of my milestone in mk that help me through 😊 win or lose
SNES had the best graphics for this game
I can't wait to see you do the arcade version.
Many new projects are on the way. Stay tuned.
2:54 - the awful lag actually works in this uppercut's favour, as it looks like Liu Kang smashes Scorpion's teeth through his head
It sure looks like it. The lag sometimes comes in handy. 😊
I keep imagining if there were blood and gore on the snes veraion. It'd have been the best version on a 16 bit console.
Yes. Indeed

You had to go into the options section and turn the blood on
@@keithkingman2459 Thats for sega lol
I used to played this game
It’s a great game. 😊
You didn't face Reptile this time?
You cannot face Reptile with Liu Kang, because to perform his fatality you have to use ‘block’, and the condition to unlock Reptile is not to use ‘block’.
@@thegameslair Oh okay.
You played against the bonus character Reptile with all the characters (except Sonya Blade and Liu Kang).
Because you cannot unlock him with Sonya and Liu Kang, because to perform their fatality you have to use ‘block’. 😊
@@thegameslairI was able to fight Reptile with Liu Kang.
@@thegameslairIt’s tricky but you can do Liu Kang’s fatality without blocking to hold him still.
Lo aburrido es que en vez de sangre les salía sudor o polvo
Muy aburrido

It’s not the best port, but it is what it is.
