The fact that some of these friendships are really complicated like the jump roping, saxaphone playing or the many dance routines. It makes me pretty sure that these character's practice their Friendships just as much as fighting

While I don’t play as him very often in any game, Cage’s “Babality” in MK9 is my favorite thing in the entire series, a redo of his “to my biggest fan,” but made entirely of scribbles and a terrible self portrait.
Johnny Cage's MK11 Friendship should've been him giving his opponent a platinum mini-statue of himself that is a Cage Nominee Award for "Best Kombatant". And the audience would be all 95 Kombatants in the entire MK universe who would all stand up for applause and praise as Cage's opponent would take the award to hold it and cry joyfully like Sally Field being nominated.
BubbleButt actually they are pretty character specific. Take Sindel for example; she screams at a wine glass and breaks the screen instead. No character besides her can scream loud enough to break things.
I think it’s amazing that they had to mocap, model, and do a bunch of other work for these in mk11 and it’s just for some goofy fun. I hope they remain in MK1.
My favorite ones are Fujin flying a kite, Subzero selling ice-cream and Kitana does patty cake with her half-sister/clone Mileena. That is so wholesome.
Anyone notice how some of these classic friendships swapped in MK11? Jax's jumprope became Noob's friendship, Kung Lao's fetch became Sonya's friendship, Kitana's cake became Baraka's, Sektor's hammer mini game became Shao Khan's.

The worst part of the MK11 Friendships is that the announcer doesn't question it. The funniest part is "Friendship. ...Friendship?!" and then in MK3, "Again?!"
Right. If I was gonna lose I'd at least want them to do a fatality. The other thing that got me is instead of a fatality. They would give me a right jab to the jaw instead (im sure they tried to do a fatality. They were probably more pissed than me.)

I like how in mk2 and in trilogy the announcer sounds surprised about the friendships but in mk 11 it happened so mutch the announcer just got used to it
One subtle but hilarious detail is the fact that they had Kano doing the mandatory "clicking" of the tongs like any father does when BBQing, lol. So great.
