Working on a Daihatsu Cuore, this episode they are racing against the clock with only 8 hours and limited funds. We had some help along the way which kept our costs down and we didn't have to pay retail for any of the goods - Bonus!

Even in the mid 2000's here in Aus I was using cassette tapes, VHS tapes, and Dial-Up internet. Sigh.

$25 exhaust tip
$5 electricity
$35 central locking
$15 wiring
wheels we didn't include in that budget as it says in the video "tempe tyres helped us out"

Tint was $220 and is darkest legal for NSW with an extra dark tint on rear window. Rims are 15inch but look pretty massive on such a small car. Make sure you send us some pics of your car when you're finished it.

If you are a car guy or a real man for that matter you should own tools. A soldering iron complete tool kit is not even $40 bucks. You can get a basic one for less then $20

Love this video, its great to see how you evolved, Even Iron Gavs intro sequences have got better and better over the years. It was an honour to see myself and my car in the UK meet video. You guys really inspired me to start modding my car after I promised myself I was going to leave it standard.

These old MCM vids may be a bit rough and unpolished, but they sure are nice. I can't believe how different the guys looked back then. If I didn't know better I'd swear they were different people.
This was one of the first MCM vids I ever watched. Not sure why it popped up in my recommended list, but it was a joy to watch again.

Its so crazy seeing these videos, and how simple these jobs are, and seeing how much more advanced you are with entire body panel and engine swaps and shit like that. From simple things like this, that anyone can watch and do, and just learning over time and now you take on these massive projects, basically with just the two of you.

I always start the mcm saga over everytime I start work on a new car. Just bought a 3sgte and all kinds of goodies for my project aw11. This is rewatch number 4. Before this was a 3000gt vr4, before that was a mk3 supra turbo, before that was a stock 240sx (I wish I didn't get rid of that one lol). I love these guys. I know it sounds weird but they feel like friends. They've been there helping me build my cars through the years. Marty and Blair seem like awesome fellas. I'd like to share a lemon squash with them one day. If you guys read this by chance I'd like to thank you for years of entertainment and help. Love you guys.

Might Car Mods must be the most consistent channel on your TH-cam. To have been producing videos of this quality back in 2007 and not diverging in style or presentation since. But still be one of the most watched car channels. Might car mods is the GOAT of YT channels.
