Lol I had TRD ford mondeo wagon couple years ago... How did I not felt an embarrassment back then... I had brembo, GReddy, Pirelli, HKS stickers on the doors, TRD racing development on the back sides, red brake callipers and two stripes on the bonnet. It was ridiculous man! Now I have the same mondeo except it is sedan it's clean, without any stickers or any rice on it.

I've started the 'Budget Street Cred' build of my own using a 1990's VW Caddy after being inspired by your MK3 Golf, now I want a 5" taco, chromed door handles, go faster stripes and lots of advertisement stickers.
So far it's lowered with cheap German TUV spec coilovers, has a German flag on the bonnet using stone chip guard, red primer and beach yellow with texture. The roof is also non lacquered primer red at the front with a CERN log and then stone chip guard black on the back part. All with a white base paint, black front grill & badge.
Got some 15" rims and just ordered a set of 195/50/15 Vredestein Quatrac 5 all season tires.
Also got a HASP lock on the drivers door and back doors for added style and security with chromed locks.
Debating having the spare mounted externally on the back door like on a 4 x 4 or having it mounted inside with a decorative steel backplate or support bars on the outside of the van (nobody on the euro rat scene has done it yet).
11 years and still making great content, got to love it.
Where the FUCK do you guys keep getting running driveable cars for $100? In the USA the scrap prices for a car are $300. To have a running car usually its at least $800 to $1000 for a crappy beater

I've bought running driving cars in FL for $400 off craigslist before. In states where you actually have some sort of inspection, I'm sure you could buy a crap car for less just like Australia and the UK. I think the fact that anything with a title can be registered in FL drives the price of crap cars up a bit.
cars are cheap here in aus. i got a vr commodore w/ good paint, mags, good engine good gearbox no smoke runs and drives perfectly with 230,000 kms. for $500
