Yes, love your wife and your children. Teach your boys that. See that your children get married to good husbands and wives. Become the father and grandfather you wish you had. God bless you brother. Much love to you and your family. My first child is on the way and I couldn't be more excited. I'm gunna teach my boys how to hunt and fish like my dad and granddad taught me. Those two men were the biggest influences during my formative years anbd my heros today. My grandpa always told me "Boy, if Opa (dutch for grandpa) can do it, you can do it. If somebody else can do it, you can do it. If the president can do it, you can do it too". He a;lso said things like "Boy, do something with your life" if i sat around on the couch for too long. He also dumped a bucket of water on me if i wasnt up when he told me to be up, and he also made me sleep in the chicken coop if i wasnt home when he said to be home lol. During my teenage years, I went down a bad path myself, but my dad never gave up on me and kept trying to steer me in the right direction. My mom prayed for me. I eventually came to my senses and went back on the right path, trusted Christ, and I never looked back. The bible says:
"Train up a child in the way he should go and when he is old, he will not depart from it".
I am a living proof of that verse as well as the prodigal son. God bless brother.

The funny thing about this great nation of ours what people don't understand and some just won't even try to comprehend, for whatever reason they have. Is that it is not as hard as anyone may think about creating a heritage for your children and grand children. "No matter where you live".(now re-read that last sentence again) There are country folk that would love nothing more than to teach you, show you and pass along to you their knowledge of the outdoors, just so you can pass along to you and yours to create that heritage that you so dearly seek. AND all you gotta do is ask!! Because all country people want is to preserve our heritage of things shown in that video. Who you are or where you're from don't mean a thing to us!!! The front door mat's in the country says "welcome" for a reason.

In 2014, my home was raided by police, over an older sibling selling a dime bag (10 dollars) of weed . I was charged with trafficking marijuana, felony possession, criminal tools, and weapons under disability, as a codefendant of my older brother . My brother took a felony plea and got me out of most the trouble. During the raid they seized 31 of my firearms . 12 of which were family heirlooms in a sense. One being a model 12- 16 guage that was originally purchased in 1931 by our great grandfather. An Italian immigrant.
2 things I wanted to point out. I'm white, but my family has been in this country for only a few generations , we are a family of immigrants.
Also the fuel to fight the courts over my firearms was fueled by the mindset that I couldn't let my grandfather's guns go to the state. For 2 years I was on felony probation in lieu of the courts, paying a lawyer a 10000 dollar retainer, But I did get my grandfather's gun back .

My Dad was a Master Rifleman in the Army, he taught me a lot about guns and gun safety. He also taught me how to milk a cow, lay floor tile, sharpen saw blades and how to live a life you’re proud. With all that said, back then I was his lace and ruffles little girl, now I’m a capable Texas lady who believes in honesty and caring. But I’m also the one that will blow a hole in you that you could drive a truck through if you threaten my family. I’ll be 67 next month and I still miss my Daddy and I appreciate his helping make me the person I am. You’re a part of my crazy family now, consider yourself an honorary Benoist ❤️

Growing up my perants took care of their perants and they took care of their perants. Now I'm 54 and my wife and I take care of my father now that my mother has passed away. As far as I can remember my back to my great grandparents. All have passed away at home surrounded by and being care for by family and I hope I get to go the same way when my time comes. Family is Number one!
Got my first Gun at 13 for Christmas, growing up in the country is a great thing.

And he told heritage can start tomorrow you just do it.

My grandpa died when my dad was 8, and he was the youngest of 5 brothers living on a 200 acre farm three miles from the nearest paved road. I learned a lot from my dad, but unfortunately he died three years before my son was born. My son is now 10 and I myself am dealing with failing health.
There is nothing in this world more important than spending time with your family, and passing down knowledge to them. Over the years, I have collected a lot of firearms, but the only one that really means anything to me is an old Winchester rifle built in 1924, which I got from my dad. This song hits close to home for me.
Love the reaction videos. Keep on keeping on my dude.

@LFRFamily I must say, I stumbled across your page because I've been listening to Aaron Lewis' banger song Am I the Only One.
I am Canadian and right now Aaron Lewis' music is providing alot of inspiration for the Freedom Convoy and his patriotism resonates alot with me and alot of other Canadians right now especially during pandemic tyranny.
Your channel is great man, I really enjoy the juxtaposition between you and urban black guy and the rural (mostly) white genre of country music. A true contrast of what might be described as the "Two americas". But you're insight, your commentary and passion for music really adds to the beauty of this contrast in American culture that I've described.

Country music pushes hard on family especially in times where society is breaking down the family unit. I don't care what your music of choice is, use it to reaffirm your family structure, your honor & pride of self and compassion for others. This creates the life worth living in. Common men & women have a strong tool in music to recreate their lives.

My dad fought in Europe in WW II - and served in occupation forces in Germany. So for the first 7 years of my life, my mother's father was my dad's stand-in. He gave me my first rifle when I was 6 (a rolling block .22 single shot Remington). I screwed up, and it was 3 years before he trusted me with another.
Between him and my dad (my hero) I had a lot going for me in my life.

Love the channel and how something as simple as reaction videos can bring so many people together. When you talked about your father and family, I instantly thought of Travis Meadows- sideways. It’s a song everyone should hear. Be ready though, it’s one of the most powerful songs I’ve heard in a very long time.

You can be the beginning of that heritage for your kids and someday theirs, this song makes me appreciate my upbringing and especially things i took for granted. Keep up the great work and the good attitude brother

I’m very fortunate to have been passed down heritage from both of my parents. My Dads side goes back over 400 years in the USA. My Moms, 300 years. I think it’s very important for one to know their heritage. My grandad was born in 1877 and I have his double barrel 12 gauge. Grandad told his boys (6 of them) to never lean the gun up against the car. This was when they were hunting and camping in the in the woods. Hunting was the way they got their food. Well one of my Uncles didn’t listen, leaned the gun against the truck. Then someone moved the truck and ran over the gun, breaking the stock off of the shotgun. So my Uncle took a piece of wood and hand carved a new stock for the gun with his pocket knife. This was in the late 1920’s or early 30’s. That hand carved stock is still on the gun. My grandad was a great shot/Hunter, and a master at bird hunting. My Dad would say even as an adult, grandad would have already shot the bird before my dad got his gun to his shoulder. And just like this song, it’s not worth anything monetary, however it has so much sentiment and it dang sure ain’t for sale. It will be handed down to my son, and then grandson, and hopefully so on. It’s important to have family heritage. And if you have never known or had it passed on to you....Well...you can change that. You be the start of your family heritage to pass on to your kids, grand kids, etc. It’s never too late to start. I’m glad you see the importance of it. Thanks for doing reactions to some great music.

Van, I would love to see you react to one of Country’s most beautifully haunting voices. Keith Whitley. A tragic story, we lost this amazing man to alcoholism in his 30’s.
A song that reads of his struggles…would really love to watch you discover.

Just remember, it’s never too late, for you for I for anyone else who’s listening to this or reading this comment, to start this type of relationship with your kids and then your grandkids. My kids are grown they’re out of the house, once in the military, Two are in college, and one of them is going to be married next year. I hope they remember me as fondly as Aaron Lewis remembers his grandfather.

Yeah..... you are truly a breath of fresh air!!!..... you're open and honest about your thoughts and feelings on things, and there's zero offense in that as far as I'm concerned!❣....people be taking things so seriously, or the wrong way these days.....and I for one wish it would all stop. We're all equal, and all God's children, and that's it, so amen to you and your family, for opening yourself up to all of us....a bunch of strangers, and just being you ❤

This song always reminds me of my Dad and how he bonded with his grandkids whether they were bio or not ( cant remotely say that about mom). He comes up fondly in conversation regularly( mom rarely and never fondly).

I learned to deer hunt in Alabama with my grandfather. My first deer was killed with a double barrel 12 gage. We had to drag that deer out of a deep hollar . We used dogs back then. Now I'm a 53 year old grandpa myself living in NW Montana. God bless you brother. Loving the videos.
