yeah i agree with you on the skin tone thing, ive decided to only consider buying any of these if there's at least 2 characters in the lineup with dark skin. sadly this means ill be saving a lot of money because these companies seem to refuse to make any characters with darker skin.
Out of curiosity, how are you learning Chinese? College course, online class, private tutor, ect?? Are you learning Mandarin? and oh my, these dolls are cute, I like the more teen/mature body they went with for this line. 🥰 I'm going to bite the bullet one day soon and order some bjd from Kikagoods, I've been eying them for ages, especially the centaurs.
I’ve been in my xcanadensis era recently and been binge watching so many videos! I feel so seen - and I’ve also just ordered two of my childhood barbies from eBay that I so regret getting rid of! And ahh these dolls are so cute, I love the light blue hair one!!
Omg I got these awhile back and I will agree with the loose strings are annoying. I think the paint inside of the shoes annoys me the most! I found putting paint sealant helps, but my brush can’t get certain corners. Xie Xing has an alternate colored doll that has tan skin if you’re interested and she’s very pretty. I completely agree the rabbit ears annoy me too. Thinking of hot glueing but I’m worried about ruining the paint. I bought the hidden doll and I will warn she was very difficult to dress. ALSO! Your Yue Mian has the blue and white stripped sock! Lucky!

I have them all now that I’ve gotten them on clearance but I’m not going to be reviewing new MGA products until their CEO stops being openly and proudly racist and bootlicking for genocidal regimes. They’re beautiful dolls - the faces are great! I don’t like what they did to the legs, I was fine with the wrist thing but the legs thing is so stupid
i saw a review on tiktok and some comments on it that the plastic of the shoes melt into the plastic of dolls after a week or more so their feet already get stained,other qc issues too i think so im curious how yours are holding up

They’re great dolls otherwise but would use a lot of work to be able to be comfortable to play with, especially if fine motor skills are a concern! The Antu dolls are much better right out of the box. Also the Bonnie dolls are great! These have such a unique style so I really hope that the company that makes them can fix these issues, they seem like easy fixes!!

I’m taking a class in person! It’s so fun :D I’m not very good at it… I am doing mandarin!

I showed the shoe issue in the articulation section :( I believe it’s just paint rubbing and not melting though
