I love crafting in various forms, painting, art dolls, figurines, jewelry, carpentry, etc. I gain knowledge watching and it gives me other ideas of what tools I can use for a lot of different goals. Your work and effort is amazing, your art is beautiful.
I showed up for the Senshi Princess series (my tiny human loves watching those videos with me; she also watched the Kousagi one) and stayed because you're entertaining, knowledgeable, and informative and your art is gorgeous. The skills you bring to the table are why I'm here. The tips and tricks that you freely give out are amazing. I don't do garage kits, but some of my friends and I do 3d printing. Everything from repairs via your pinning/forbidden mustard techniques to ideas on shading and depth of color has been passed back and forth.
On this piece in particular, I have to say I love the subtle sparkle of the shawl. Also, massive kudos for not making the pink hair clash with the red dress. Matching those hues is so difficult for me!

Since the very first video I watched, I knew I had to subscribe. I mean, not only I get to enjoy the beautiful results, but also the process. Yes, there are other channels that offer the same things, but I think your videos are also really entertaining and fun to watch. Your personality is a plus, as you don't back down or try to please everyone. Your videos are more than just you showing your art: you make it fun, you make it yours. I don't know, the whole combination is great.
I have watched ever since the first video I saw in 2020; Your humor and eye for detail drew me in, and of course even though you leave all the struggles in, you made it seem rewarding, too. I stick around because, even though I don’t do garage kits (I don’t have the patience needed), I am an artist and you inspire me to keep being passionate about my art the way you are about yours. You’re also just really funny and relatable and I feel relaxed watching your videos.
I've been here since the beginning of the Sailor Senshi Princess videos with Serenity and was introduced to GKs that way. I was amazed by Leona's skills and creative problem solving and have been here since. (The SPU are my comfort videos.)
One of the things that Leona has worked at in addition to shining a light on an niche hobby is framing it for the female gaze. The most obvious example of this is with the release of the UsagixMamrou Honeymoon kit; but her videos have ALWAYS been for the girlies, intentional or not.
The use of pastels, gradients, holo-pigments, giving figures manicures and pedicures, adding crystals/rhinestones, using glitter in place of white paint for some of the eye highlights! Even using a nail dremel to sand things down, it's so girly and beautiful and I love it. It's also very on brand with one of the themes of Sailor Moon: how there is a power to feminity and how impactful it can be.
And you may be sitting there reading this dissertation thinking "oh my God, they're just anime resin molds with some fancy paint. It's not that deep."
I probably am reading too deeply into everything, but watching Leona has made me want to create again. It inspired me.
And for that, I'm grateful I found this channel.

The reason I love following the Resin Queen, the magister of masking is because she's absolutely talented and gives tips and tricks for newbies for FREE. No gatekeeping. But she's also funny as hell. The work is why I started to follow, the sarcasm and sass is why I stayed. I think Leona dropped her first sarcastic comment in under 30 seconds in the first video I watched and I was like, "yeah. I'm following her for life." And it's been worth it.

I understand why people don’t like Chibiusa, neither do I, but I like the arc of Black Lady and her origin story. Minus the part where Usagi dreamt she and Darien kissed, it made it uncomfortable but other than that a little girl who was emotionally abandoned by her parents and has the burden to save them and all that resentment makes her into a powerful villain p, idk I like it. Also the fact that “Luna pelota” (that’s how is called in the Latin dub) stayed with her even though she turned evil I thought it was heartwarming

Why do I keep watching? Because Leona is talented, thorough, dedicated, and above all brave. Yes, she has sass, but she knows this and it might not be for everyone, but she's said that her channel ISN'T for everyone. Yet haters keep watching and bugging her? The reasons I'm SUBSCRIBED - Sailor Moon was my very first anime, back when I was in middle school (I'm 40 now!) So it was my first fandom. I love watching all forms of art for it, and what you do is amazing! Also, I love your sass and personality! Even though I don't like Chibi Usa, I only liked her marginally better as Black Lady because of her character design, and that was it.
My favorite part is how you manage to make everything have so much texture!!!! Each layer of her outfit looks like a different fabric!! The shoes being so shiny and her skin so matte ugh amazing

I have a coworker, an older woman who's been with the store since it opened. Whenever she talks to anyone she starts off with "I'M NOT YELLING AT YOU. I'M THE YOUNGEST OF EIGHT KIDS, I JUST TALK LOUD OUT OF HABIT" and still gets complaints about being mean and angry. So yeah, some people don't actually listen to what people say, just how they say it.

Project quality and video quality is why I return because as far as I know there is no one else online with this specific content and quality and thorough explanation of things.
(I don't partake in drama or the hobby itself but I find it interesting to learn and my OCD seems to rly like the whole process especially when you even out pieces to fit like a perfect 3D puzzle 😂)
All that said these videos would not work without your personality in my opinion, it is needed to give life to the video; without it one might as well watch no-commentary videos which in this context makes no sense to me.

To all the haters, you're just jealous you can't make your figures as gorgeous as Leona! I come back for the art, finding ways to work as a beginner with resin kits, and because Leona just feels so genuine. Also anyone I can geek out about the same anime with I will usually love as well.
Personally I like Black Lady, and Chibiusa grew on me as I read manga, but I understand why people hate them. I do get very weirded out by the relationship between Chibi/Lady and Mamorou tho. So weird. Character aside, I adore Lafy's design. To ke its beautiful, elegant, and wonderfully dark. I appreciate the effort put into her even tho you hate her so much.

So, the reason I watch your videos Leona is simply because they're awesome. Not just that, I wish to support content creators outside the USA, and I feel you honestly deserve it. I also love how proud you are to just be you and not let petty hate get you down. Having Mexican family and having grown up with the Mexican culture, the way to carry yourself is so familiar and refreshing to see. It's very comforting to know that you aren't ashamed of your roots.

Why I watch? Not many show off their process and I've always been curious about these as someone who does gunpla which while having similarities are pretty different, GKs are just too much extra cost for me to try them so watching someone do them is massive for me. Otherwise the sass and snark always make me laugh and I love it. Also love the silly Skeksis clips in this video couldn't stop laughing even if I've not seen the newer series it got. They're just so funny with their "hmmms"
