So I went kind of on a deepdive & bought 2 clear acrylic books - they are shown as a book shaped vase with an open top (from Mercari, but originally from Target!). I'm so excited to make a 2 bookmark book boxes - 1 for real bookmarks, 1 for any cards or other items I come across!!

It is my impression that those little brown things on its head, which you said looked like bear ears (which they do), are supposed to represent the horns. The big floppy white ears look very much like goat ears to me.
