I was playing Cyberpunk with a 13 resolution and having a blast pixel art style, imagine now! It can became the best VR present since UEVR, great news!
I am so excited. The shimmering and ghosting is finally gone? Even with DLSS? Also, I saw that aggressively flashing headlight at 53s, if anybody else finds it distracting you can eliminate it by turning off screen space reflections.
Mono looks acceptable but still shit unplayable.maybe mono is bit playable 3ds are totally shit even with right hrz when it loses a bit from ghosting etc.mono at least imitates what you wanted.Probably we will enjoy it with some adaptive ai Vr emulator cuz they will just give a fuck developing it really.maybe you get a small upgrade every month if you are lucky.Unfortunately even the best cards can’t solve what softvers should.Infortunatly coding ais also not as developed as some amateur enthusiats can fix it.
Ho-ho-holy sh*t! I can go to Pandora in VR now? And I thought I was off Santa's list for all those times I... umm... never mind. Merry VR Christmas, all!
Choom, I’ve burned thousands of hours in NC with this mod and will burn thousands more! Can’t wait to scope out the new preem optics and dive into another run with all the fresh chrome the updates are packing!
Pls put your specs in the description, 90 fps is crazy. Also how do you get your HUD to move like that when you walk and look around, I have to constantly reset my orientation while playing and it gets annoying after a while. Loved the video!
that would be amazing, I'd like to see Fallout New Vegas get a VR mod, or Elder Scrolls Oblivion. All good choices because the games are super long, so it would be a blast.
I tried if half a year ago and didn't get it working on 3090 correctly. Was it using DLSS also back then or is there now also performance increase? Could be also Ryzen 5 5600X is bottleneck a bit.
It is a modified version of DLSS for the mods. It just gives better visual quality to DLSS mainly. This allows you to get more out of DLSS because you can drop down to performance or balanced and it still looks better.
Appears to be DLSS and support for Avatar. (edit) Just checked a PC Gamer article and yes, Avatar and supposedly some optimizations that really boost performance so that games like Avatar can actually run well in VR.
If you've ever tried the mod you will notice a ghosting effect/shimmering around objects, before you could only mitigate it by cranking the resolution and turning off upscaling. Look at the grass and objects around the first floating bag before he picks it up, and after. It seems to be fixed now. Sounds like he's also hinting at more performance increases, probably from upscaling. Upscaling used to make the ghosting worse so it was hard to justify. If it's fixed, we might be getting a huge improvement to image quality for (kind of) free. Outside vr, DLSS in cyberpunk at 4k meant the difference between path tracing and ray tracing high on a 4080. If upscaling is fixed, it might allow higher end GPUs to turn on some ray tracing effects in vr.
@@Rmag37 Yeah, not being able to use DLSS due to it making the ghosting 10x worse was a big problem. In CP77 I ran extremely high supersampling to make the ghosting less visible but in other games that was impossible due to performance issues even on a 4090. With all those fixes and a 5090 right around the corner a lot of those mods will become quite playable.
Not supported by AMD, as Luke specified in his blog. "Want the good news or the bad news first? Yeah, let's start with the really bad stuff. Just like AER v2, this is NVIDIA only. If you have an AMD card, you won't be able to take advantage of the new technique with my mods. I apologize to Team Red, but I'm only one person. I know there are some third-party mods that make it possible to emulate DLSS on AMD cards using FSR, and it's possible they will work with this new tech of mine, but it is completely uncharted territory and you will have to experiment on your own".
And just in time for the Xmas break.
Nice!
Thank you for all your hard work!
This is a creative release video man!🔥
Man I've been waiting for this since the game came out. Perfect for vr

Thank you Brandon and Luke!!
Avatar was one of the most under-rated games of the year. I really enjoyed it.
Great Game!

Awesome vid bro! How is it possible to capture such great actual VR footage? Nice work

This is great, but when will there be Witcher 3 VR mod? Reeeeee!

Words like the following:
- Stable
- Clear
- Never looked better
all suggestion of performance improvements.

It seems to fix the horrible ghosting that plague his mods.

DL(S)SS? As I understand it, it doesn't seem to work on my 7900XTX :(
