Koh Chang one of the most adventure island of Thailand...stay 1 or 2 days at the guesthouse BUDDHA VIEW at Bang Bao village (delicious food) you will not regret it ! The owners Jan + Jan are great guys (friends) !

You can go and try to find Wai Chaek in the south east of the island, it's a small abandoned beach. Its a bit of an adventure to get there! I love that island.
I was impressed with the beaches, but liked the first beach of the day. The second beach seemed to have to many tourists there and I love the more quiet beaches. The drone shots were excellent and the hills with the rough sea front was awesome and so was the lagoon drone shots. Chris, I see you got your license again and you are driving the scooters and not poor Carolina having to do it. Sad about the waterfall being so dry and hope it is the season and not the villagers over using the water from the falls. The beaches looked clean and nice the water warm. sorry you guys lost the wrap I think you got in India "right"or am I mistaken. it was one Carolina would wear a lot. I like the new one but I like comfy things and hate losing them. looks really nice. I have a question - what do you do with your valuables when you both go swimming in the sea. I solo travel and feel it's quite risky leaving my stuff on the beach so don't really relax in the water

Was there about a month ago. Very touristy island with lots of uncountrolled development. Last went there about 15 years ago and it was more beautiful and not much development, which I prefer. I think Thailand is too touristy now, they seem to want more and more tourists without thinking of the impact of it. Anyways loved your Cambodia and Myanama videos and just started watching your Phillipines videos. Seems like Phillipines is the place to go if you love beaches?
Unfortunately when you made this the air quality wasn't good due to the burning that's why it is so hazy. Another thing i noticed is that after you left Klong Prao to go to Lonely Beach you appear near Bang Bao which is odd as it is past Lonely Beach if you are coming from Klong Prao.

Just care for sandflies... I had been to Kho Chang, and it is beautiful! But make sure to apply thick layers of sunscreen to cover one's skin from sandflies! I had my whole backbitten and it was painful!

When I backpacked SE Asia and visited beaches, I didn't swim too much because I was paranoid that someone would steal my day pack. After having my cellphone stolen and then trying to authenticate bank and social media logins and changing passwords, I simply couldn't leave anything on a beach. What do you do with the drone and other valuables most of the time?

You don't need Anything. You need to leave a photocopy of your passport and a cash deposit. Whatever you do, don't scratch or crash their scooter. You will pay far far in excess of any repair costs.
I can highly recommend Long Beach at the far east end of the island which takes a bit time to get there. I have just returned from Koh Chang two weeks ago. Check my channel for some footage. Enjoy travelling!!!

Yeah philippines is the no.1 beach destination in the world in my opinion! We are in the Philippines now for a month 😁
If you love beaches, and yet can't find your hapiness in such a beautiful place like Koh Chang, then you won't find it anywhere.

Can book it on the island and they will organize it all for you, there is a place on the main pier that you can organize it through

I used to cover my bag with a towel and never had a problem in Thailand.

Try to negotiate with the scooter rental place. At my hotel we do it for 250 baht per day and we don’t even need a licence or passport deposit.
