It's crazy to think that everytime COD or Battlefield did a WWII game non of them depicted the Chinese front or The Italian Campaign. Maybe play as a Chinese National Soldier and an Italian Anti Fascist Rebel. Hell maybe throw in the Spanish Civil War and the Winter War too just to get historical gamers back instead of putting woMAN or POC in unrealistic battles or scenarios. Just my thoughts

A great example was the 92nd Buffalo Division, an all African American platoon, who fought in the Italy, or if you want to go big there was the 442nd Regiment made up of Japanese Americans who wanted to proved their loyalty to the allies and even admitted they were upset that they were sent to Europe instead of the Pacific. See, you don't have to redo history just to cater to PCs. But then again who could forget when EA president said to all the Battlefield fans who ragged on BFV, "If you don't like it, don't buy it. We don't need your money" which went as well as you can imagine 😒

My paternal grandmother is from Nanjing (Nanking), she and her family escaped to southern China before the Battle of Nanking and I was told that her relative was killed during the massacre. Also, my grandmother had her sister, but she disappeared without a trace at southern China, which I felt it was creepy, anguished, and sad to hear. I wish I want to know what happened to her whether she's alive or not, just want an answer for my grandmother. If it weren't for Battle of Nanking, that wouldn't happened. I just hope she's alive at that time and had family. War is terrible. Anyways, excellent mod depicting Chinese perspective during the Second-Sino Japanese War which I feel this conflict needs more attention in the Western world. I think it'll be interesting to have Chinese Civil War mod, have Japanese facial model on the Soviet Red Army uniform against KMT, who are wearing either Stahlhelm or M1 Helmet.
Actually Chinese army killed many civilians when they run away to west. That's called "Nanking massacre" Japanese army killed a few civilians accidentally because many Chinese soldiers pretended to be civilians without military uniforms it calls "便衣兵"

The problem with doing a mod like this is that automatic weapons were rarely used in the Chinese Theatre. So you get entire Japanese squads wielding type 11s which are quite unrealistic. Good job on the graphics though.
That, and the Imperial Japanese Army as a whole never really fielded much in the way of SMGs, LMGs and MMGs to begin with, anyways. All throughout WWII, the Imperial Japanese Army relied almost entirely on bolt-action rifles, much like the National Revolutionary Army of the Nationalist Kuomintang under Chiang Kai-Shek.

While I've seen a memorial and a monument dedicated to American Flying Tigers during the Burma campaign at Yunnan province, I wondered if Chinese people today are grateful over US atomic bombings of Hiroshima and Nagasaki bombings, but I've been told that many Chinese people don't feel grateful or rather not say about this. To be honest, they should because there would be more casualties without using nuclear weapons otherwise some future generations wouldn't exist today.
So many games about war are trying to be so much more diverse now instead of focusing on great soldiers of color like the entire 442nd. I would love to play a game where you get to do any one of the great battles they fought in and won they are still the most decorated division, or regiment I'm not sure which, in the history of the US military but no one makes games about them or the red tails for that matter, instead they try to force ppl of color or women into situations that they weren't in it's just as bad as having the STG being used by the Japanese or the attachments like red dot sights being used in vanguard

Michael Arthur Historically in fact, the Germans did help the Chinese Republic by sending military advisors and even supplying them with their firearms (that's why you'll find every Kuomintang soldiers were armed with Mauser M712 and equipped with Stahlhelm)

It's great that a video game tried to depict the massacre of innocent people in Nanjing by the Japanese invading forces. Men, women, children and even babies were ruthlessly murdered. To this day the Japanese government has never formally apologised for this war crime. Instead, they built war memorial temples to celebrate the lives of their 'heroic' war criminals. The Republic of China (now governed from Taipei, Taiwan) eventually won the resistance against the Japanese forces. It is the rightful government of China (including Taiwan). The communist People's Republic of China that occupies mainland China is a false government and took over when the Republic of China was at its weakest after the war with Japan. I thought people would appreciate the true history of what went on.

The Kuomintang army uniform is similar to the German uniform although it only looks similar in terms of the helmet and the way the magazine is placed and drinking water looks the same as the German one
That's only the German trained divisions like the 88th. X and Y force had US and British uniforms and equipment but most Kuomintang uniforms were blue with a field cap and were the least armed at all.
It is common knowledge to Japanese people who knew the Republic of China in those days that the ROC dressed up as Nazis and displayed Hakenkreuz. It's just that in your country, information is controlled. If you look at the images of the battlefields in mainland China at that time, you can easily mistake them for the images of the German army on the European front.

What if another cod game was set in ww2 but this time it includes the Japanese-Sino war, the Italian campaign, the Japanese invasion of Alaska, the Nanking massacre, lesser known battles such as operation dragoon, battle of Vercors or even the battle of attu. It's tragic how the Chinese and African theaters of this war don't get any attention. I'd play the fuck out of a game featuring one or both of those two important but unforgiveably forgotten chapters of the second world war.
The Chinese military and civilians have made great sacrifices and contributions to the World War, but I rarely see information about the Chinese War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression on TH-cam, which is very sad.

So many games about war are trying to be so much more diverse now instead of focusing on great soldiers of color like the entire 442nd. I would love to play a game where you get to do any one of the great battles they fought in and won they are still the most decorated division, or regiment I'm not sure which, in the history of the US military but no one makes games about them or the red tails for that matter, instead they try to force ppl of color or women into situations that they weren't in it's just as bad as having the STG being used by the Japanese or the attachments like red dot sights being used in vanguard
