Man, Russian food, culture, people, everything looks so whole and awesome. Worlds apart from what the world media portrays. One day I will definitely visit.
Firstly moscow is its own microcosm and not real russia. Its like a citystate where the rich of russia live. Secondly he showed luxury restaurants. You can find them even in afghanistan on a few videos here where people visit them. What you see in the two restaurants was normal french dining culture which all the fancy restaurants have copied all in the world for a century now. But the food and especially the white rabbit restaurant looked neat and the service good. I would just like to visit to try the bars and restaurants. But they are super expensive as high end dining is

Not in those two gigacities you see in every movie. Just as here Berlin is totally different than the rest of germany. Moneywise München is the richest city which is double the living standard than any other big city

my babushka passed away just a couple months ago and, as many babushkas are, she was a great cook. seeing all this food and people around the table really captures the spirit and culture of russian people: food, family, and drinking. seeing this video really warms my heart as it reminds me of so many precious memories with my babushka❤️

actually its its not THAT expensive. whole menu he tasted costs about ~ 150 Euro. And menu is made by one of the top 100 chefs ( I think he was rated number 8)

This was absolutely amazing, the variety of dishes and you can tell the respect they have for each and every ingredient. Every dish was thought out and executed wonderfully, giving you a food experience, rather than just a meal. I now have a new found respect for Russian Cuisine...

mellotita2 I’ve been to the restaurant twice on each recent trip to Moscow, and each time the food was unique, creative and amazing in flavor. If your not careful, cocktails, wine, 4-5 course meal with desert wine or cocktail can total near $1000 USD.

These videos are making me miss Russia so much. I went to St Petersburg in 2018 during the summer. Never made it to Moscow, which has been my dream destination since I was a child. So I will be going there soon! 🇷🇺

@Eric Pratt a lot of russian cuisine lost 'cos of soviet era. Lost not in the meaning no one know how to cook it, chef's know, and all people can find it in pre USSR books, but still, average everyday cuisine is shrink compare of what we got, but it's slowly coming back. This why people around the world don't really know much about our cuisine, majority of russian's know about 10-15 traditional dishes, and it's sad.

There are plenty of Amazing new russian restaurants. I regularly fly to St. Petersburg and every time I discover new places. The food scene is booming! Over here in Germany it is dying.

Everywhere poor people, alcoholism, no future...there is no food what can make this Country attractive for me....Come to Switzerland or Austria, German Alps and you will see what "beautiful" really is. Lived there for awhile. Apartment corridors smell like raw eggs/sewage. People spit everywhere. No one makes eye contact. Everything is incredibly overpriced. Ahole security guards at every entrance. Strangers don't talk to each other. Drivers are angry, road rage is common. Frequently see drunks fighting at night. Very depressing place to live.

These videos are making me miss Russia so much. I went to St Petersburg in 2018 during the summer. Never made it to Moscow, which has been my dream destination since I was a child. So I will be going there soon! 🇷🇺

the video is just mind blowing ...and the food is really appetising...I think the seeds on the bread are the seeds of sunflower n not coriander....but may be i am wrong .....And the family together for the breakfast was the highlight of this video ...Beautiful Russia
It's coriander whole seeds, we call this bread Borodinskiy and it's super yummy 🙂

@Eric Pratt a lot of russian cuisine lost 'cos of soviet era. Lost not in the meaning no one know how to cook it, chef's know, and all people can find it in pre USSR books, but still, average everyday cuisine is shrink compare of what we got, but it's slowly coming back. This why people around the world don't really know much about our cuisine, majority of russian's know about 10-15 traditional dishes, and it's sad.
It's because you are probably American and hear nothing good about Russia by your fake media lol.

There are plenty of Amazing new russian restaurants. I regularly fly to St. Petersburg and every time I discover new places. The food scene is booming! Over here in Germany it is dying.

Lived there for awhile. Apartment corridors smell like raw eggs/sewage. People spit everywhere. No one makes eye contact. Everything is incredibly overpriced. Ahole security guards at every entrance. Strangers don't talk to each other. Drivers are angry, road rage is common. Frequently see drunks fighting at night. Very depressing place to live.
Vladimir and his staff were really lovely. As always, you're a pleasant guest/host. Also, I didn't know you traveled with your family, but it's nice you all experience different cultures together.

I usually waggle my finger whenever Mark eats at a fancy restaurant, due to his roots as a street food eater. But even I have to admit that I would love to eat at the White Rabbit. Truly stunning food!
