You definitely should throw the Rapala DT series. Best running cb straighr out the package. Only cb that actually runs at the depth advertized. 10 pound line is what they're tested with.
Great video as always, Faith juice is a welcome addition. How do you get away from confidence lures ? I always get one and then when I change up to another lure and don't catch fish, I always go back to my confidence lure and throw it 80 percent of the time. I would like to catch more fish each trip. I am finding more spots that hold bass on my home lake, that is full of tournaments everywèkend 3 or more.
So I have changed up on lures so much in recent years. One thing I did which I know I fish full time now but I would not have confidence lures tied on. Have the other lures on and throw them to learn / figure them out.
The easiest way to remember is just bend it the way you want it to go. I bring lineman pliers for tuning cranks especially the ones with diving lips because it’s a lot harder to grip them.
@TheFishingCoach not a magnum. It's the size of the 1.5 kvd squarebill but with a deep diving bill on it. It dives 9-12 feet instead of the usual 5ft. The only manufacturer I can find that makes one is strike king
Hold the rod straight up and down after you make a long cast reel in holding rod in this position and watch which direction the line goes. Adjust wire the opposite direction. Randy said hi, he coached you but won't call you coach...lol... just messing
@kurtrindgen4708 with the long cast you can get a good idea on how out of wack the bait is and usually get it adjusted the first time. I have even had the roll on their sides coming in, meaning way out of adjustment. I have had the not run correct because of treble hooks.

I do have a few rapalas. I have not complained about them either. Need to get some more!
I need to check em out. I think I actually have a couple I haven’t even used. SPRO crank baits are my go to. Especially the MD50 and RK Crawler.

Do you mean the magnum squarebill? There are a few other companies with a big squarebill crankbait. Megabass has a few versions

Ahhh I have seen another one but it is not a popular brand. Those are really hard to find.
I think mono is better because of not scuffing and peeling pound for pound 10 mono is tougher
Yeah I know a few guys that use mono. I still prefer the flouro 👍🏽
Still use it for cranks and spinnerbaits. The stretch also helps freeing snagged baits with the bow n arrow technique.
