I met Caswell at Rain City Skatepark in Seattle (2001) and he had nothing but bad things to say about Weezer ;). The Man Down video (and Tilt Mode Army) had a big influence on us. Thank you for always ripping while making skateboarding fun.

I remember the crazy chain of events that happened during the Enjoi 2001 tour. First my friends mom almost hit Rodney Mullen with her van because he was standing in the street with the skate shop owner. Then I had to yell at some kids (I was young and thought they were being disrespectful) because they were shaking the Enjoi van yelling RODNEY RODNEY RODNEY. However he wasn’t in the van. And I think whoever was in there was sleeping. Meanwhile Rodney is standing 20 feet away. With semi long hair. Because he looked slightly different from THPS game the kids had no idea what he looked like. So I yelled HE’S STANDING RIGHT IN FRONT OF YOU STOP SHAKING THE VAN KIDS. They seemed a bit scared so I apologized and said I’m sorry but if you can’t recognize one of the best skaters ever standing 20 feet in front of you maybe you should settle down and take in your surroundings a bit. And of course Jerry Hsu was there killing it at our crappy wooden ramp park. Everyone else stayed off the ramps because they we’re pretty sketchy. Well except Louie. He skated everything. And then Rodney put on his flat ground demo. And many jaws dropped. Damn life was good back then. I love Enjoi, I love what it stood for. To see Louie leave breaks my heart. Skate companies come and go. What can you do. Thank you for creating great memories for so many kids. Although I can say I have absolutely no idea what is happening with your company. Treat your skaters right. If you mistreat your rider’s skaters will instantly dislike your company. This is a solo sport but we generally have each others backs when it counts. Don’t mistreat your pro’s. They make the company, not some CEO.

Once a lot of the old guard left, I was disappointed for a bit they didn't pull in bigger names, but now I think it's definitely a strength. Every member rips and Louie in a more managerial position still keeps the vibes with them fun and positive. Just wish it worked out with Carlin back when he was bumping around. Would have been a really good addition.
