I respect Nyjah because he easily could have just slowed his pace and enjoyed an easy life. But he chose to put in the work and push himself to the absolute limit. He’s aware that he has a gift of talent and he’s not squandering it. This is surreal to watch. Wow.

Nyjah is like a THPS character. He can literally do everything. His skateboarding is on such a high level it looks like out of a video game. This may have been the gnarliest part I've ever seen.

He's been my favorite skater for a long time, same way Chris Cole was when he went on a rampage with insane parts, and constant NBD footage... It's amazing how much skateboarding has evolved over the decades. I remember watching 411VM issue 1 when I was a kid and now seeing this is unbelievable.
For years now Nyjah manages to pull off the gnarliest tricks on the gnarliest, most dangerous and terrifying rails, and all with such grace!
Surely this must be one of the greatest skateboarding video parts? The amount of tricks and huge spots is just mind blowing. Nyjah is hitting rails that would be suitable for snowboarders. Crazy!!

I've watched every pro/amatuer skater from 96 to present. He is by far the greatest skateboarder ever. The consistency difficulty as well as all around bag of tricks. He is lightyears away from the rest as far as one person able to put down that many difficult tricks. How he hasn't won at least one soty is mind blowing. Someone in thrasher must not like nyjah.

Everyone knows that Nyjah is undeniably one of the best street skaters in the world. When it comes to taking complex/difficult tricks down rails very few can match him. Nyjah said on the Berrics interview that this part was the one he worked the hardest on in his whole career. This part exceeded that and with the amount of footage hes put out this year he deserves to win SOTY. Respect to Nyjah for the work hes put in and everything hes contributed to skateboarding. Even though seeing his monster energy hats is getting kinda old I still love watching him slay rails and push the limits and whats possible on a skateboard.
Also the music choice was interesting and Im sure a lot of people will complain about it but I think it fit the part and Nyjahs style well.
I'm just going through and liking all the SOTY comments. If this shit doesn't get it done, does SOTY even matter? How many times does this dude have to cheat death for it? I'm actually concerned what may happen next year if Nyjah doesn't get the credit he deserves. It's time. He done did it.

He may skate bigger shit generally, but that also means he's much more use to it and it's not as dangerous if you will for him despite it still being insanely dangerous. Completely unreal, I can’t compare any skater to him. He goes harder, faster and tries the hardest tricks out there and constantly continues to raise the bar as he gets further and further into his career. He skates at such an at ease level that he makes even the hardest moves look easy when we all know how difficult they are. SOTY, SOTD(ecade), LEGEND!
It's really impressive when you consider how good he was at such a young age. Most ppl who find success so young lose the hunger to be great. Things just get easy for them and they get lazy.

About two months ago, I see him walking in the airport by himself with his board, nobody bothering him. I just thought.. it's crazy how no one here knows who this guy is.. how great he is at what he does. Best living street skater. I love Ishod Wair aswell but Nyjah Huston is simply the best ive seen in over 20 years of skating. He has no limits to what he throws down these sets. Backside, Frontside, nollie, fakie, switch, lip, or tail, kick or heel it literally doesn’t matter he will stomp it anyways. There is no competition.

Nyjah is one living legend in the making. He never stoped putting work, since his early days and never forget his roots even if his way of life now has totally changed. He's undeniably one of the most respected and talented skater in the whole game. He truly deserves what he has and we should respect the way he wants to do with it. Nyjah is the best all around skateboarder in the world. Not including vert or any of that shit of course, but his street parts are on another level. So many gnarly tricks in this video. Plus.. Nyjah is the GOAT when it comes to performing under pressure. There is NO ONE better at creating legendary moments during comps when landing a trick matters. He’s gotten a lot of shit for being a tactician during comps, but isn’t that the goal? To win? The dude is gnarly as hell and one of the best to ever do it.

Street skating and vert skating are very different disciplines. Tony’s easily the best vert, Nyjah the GOAT of street, and Rodney is the GOAT of flatground/freestyle/trick inventions

It’s been a long time since someone’s part impressed me that much. This one will go down in the skateboarding history books for sure. That rail up-flat-then down is a great ender. Insane. Had to rewind and watch again to truly see how crazy it was
This is hands down the best part that's ever been filmed! This part alone should have gotten him SOTY, but this combined with his other two parts last year and he still didn't get it? It'd be awesome if we as a community got together and gave him some type of acknowledgement for the efforts he put in last year and how dedicated he's been throughout his whole career.
