  • This ride was incredible, massive thank you to the volunteers and everyone that came out to cheer us on. I can't believe we did it! It's over a week post ride and it still doesn't quite feel real, despite the pain I loved it and we've already decided we will be back for 2027.
Our finish time was 72hrs and 3 minutes - but it's not about time, it's about the experience - helmets off to the people that didn't make it to the end within the time but still carried on riding, true heros!
We did manage to cycle back to the ferry, so that will be the next video - I'll be editing over the weekend while my heel heals (it was my heel not my calf!), I've not been able to ride this week but I'm itching to get back on the bike, with rest the heel is on the mend, so I'll be back riding soon!
Thank you SO much for watching!

Seriously so impressed with your efforts.. even riding 10 miles with any kind of pain is a nightmare so chapeau to you Amy that’s incredible… so glad you carried on to complete your mission! Wow, what an experience… I hope everything is healed and recovering well .. ❤

Wow Amy, you must be the hardest person on TH-cam, a couple of hours on a bad saddle would bring most people to their knees, can't believe you managed to keep going to the end, it must have been excruciating. I thought you were hardcore for surviving the rain on the 24hrs but this was beyond next level. Great, honest, videos, well done to you and Kyle for completing PBP, now get some much needed rest and a new saddle 😃

Amy, you are incredible. I have done some rides where I didn't think I would finish, I just wanted to get off and push - but then you realise, it's still quicker to keep riding and you'll get to the finish sooner, so you just keep peddling. In just keeping going, you inspire others.

On rides like this you learn much about yourself, your body, your bike fit but the best of all is the camaraderie of fellow cyclists and the support from all the volunteers along the route. Congratulations on finishing the worlds most famous cycling event.

I was 31 when I did my first PBP in 1983, wow over 40 years ago now... I skipped the 1987 one and came back for another go in 1991 after doing 12,000km cycle touring around western Europe for two months, I finished that one in about 70 hours. I was back again in 1995 but after 400km sickness put me out. You are a natural commentator, so cheery, well most of the time :)
