17:03 those two rounds felt real dynamic and satisfying to watch. At first he was sorta keeping distance and you swept him away easy. Then in round 2 he was keeping you on your toes after assessing that close range is probably best. If only he landed his assault armor on you, he could have had a better chance. GG to that dude.
I liked the original build so much I copied (most) of it and then got *SUPER* into making weathering decals for it. Now it’s an incredibly dusty, rusty desert camo that’s got tons of bullet holes, plasma burns, and scraped paint. And also a lot of really edgy dark red markings (kill me, burn me, end me, tally markings denoting AC kills, etc) that are smudged and smeared, like someone was hand-painting the outside of their AC with blood. One of my favorite and most detailed builds.
Big agree on the stability issue with RJ legs. It’s fair to have to balance out their advantages elsewhere, but stability is just too important to justify the deficits therein. Other consideration is that it isn’t always just a benefit with the grounded boost either, if you’re juking right then left quick to avoid consecutive big attacks or throw off FCS you get a huge jump one way then a teeny jump back, nachtreier is grounded again fast enough to have that benefit a second time.
yeah that's a good point! Plus bunny hopping with a short jump is better at avoiding fire when your jumping more than one big slow jump and a big slow decent.
They need to fix the reverse joints kick tracking first though. The spring chickens being the worst offender of this. Their ability to basically hit you even whenever you're 9 mi from them is kind of shitty. And I know some of that's due to latency but sometimes you'll even see the opponent do a fucking 180 and come back around to kick you because of their long kick time combined with hard lock

I actually ran a similar build but used a blade instead of the second rifle. It gives stagger punish and the recoil is not as bad. I forgot the biological reason but reverse joints are less stable in real life but provide good mobility and jump which is why mostly 4 legged animals have them. I guess FROM is going for that. Putting them on a mech is an odd choice other than looking cool.
7:20 That's the problem I run into when running RJ/Harris setups. It's really difficult to make space against highly mobile opponents when when they rush in.
I really dig the trueno stagger punish. I was trying to run the laser dagger as a stagger punish but man I was just not getting it done. Once i switched and saw the damage from the trueno I started using the charged laser dagger as a finisher which is super satisfying 👍
Yo Moose! Love the builds! Would you be down to test my custom areas of mech builds in the near future? (and yes, I am one of those types who like to make fun and interesting builds - not a huge PVP pro or nothing lol)

I know I ended the last match with high HP but he was really close to landing his super damage combo when I staggered! It was a good one!

It probably does. I think lights will need a nerf too then cause they're already so hard to catch with just the spd.

Yeah I think it makes sense and is a good balancing mechanic, but I think it's just too much lol.

It's decent. Grenades would do better against the bots though.
