On some (not all) engines you can spin the crankshaft with the harmonic balancer using a breaker bar. That would spend a U joint the same way I did in the video.

I have a Bravo 2 Outdrive and the SN is not readable. Is there a method I can use to confirm the gear ratio without taking the drive off the boat?
