Star trek voyager wasn't aired in my country back then. Thanks to Netflix I can watch it now. I haven't finished all the seasons yet, I take my time, sipping them like a good liquor.
I love her voice, I've always known of Kate Mulgrew especially when Rosie had her talk show she was so in loved with her because of Ryan's Hope. I never watch Ryan's Hope or anything she was on until Orange Is The New Black, and I have been going back and watching her work. I will try and find Star Trek: Voyager and watch that next, has to be streaming somewhere.
Tom Snyder is a good interviewer; remember him interviewing Don Rickles ( Ytube video ) and that was memorable and funny ( RIP Don and Tom ) and the interview of Kate Mulgrew was just as insightful and revealing in particularly her exhibition of CONFIDENCE which explains why Voyager is so much fun to watch, among other things; I am a big fan of Ms. Mulgrew and Voyager , however, sad Voyager ended so soon; bought the entire collection from amazon , thank you from the bottom of my heart.
I think Kate was one of THE GREAT WOMEN. Rapturously beautiful: and then she speaks with beauteous voice expressing challenge, certainty, touches of fragility which makes me rise to let her fly free. Where's my hat...Ah well...
Sorry Ms Mulgrew and Mr Snyder, but people in their 70s and 80s, go to the gym and run. Walking is good, if you're an octogenarian. But for anyone younger, its not going to do you much good.
