I agree. When I first saw Kate in ''Voyager'', I thought her voice was a bit ''harsh'', but I soon realized that was only her ''Captain's voice''. She sounds great in this interview!
Education helps...using proper grammar and good language skills in the home as well.

Have just finished Kate's memoir and can tell you all that you will be so engrossed that you will not put it down until you've read every word. She truly is an inspiration, very human and very compassionate. It takes courage to be frank and not "sugar-coat" the uncomfortable decisions you have made, Bravo Kate. Don't have regrets, you have more than remedied any mistakes you feel you may have made. Ultimately we can all only hope to make the best of each day and try to live kindly.

What a great interview! I never realized what Kate has been through and I am going to buy her book, which I never do, just to learn more about her and perhaps me in the int rum. That interviewer was great too. So caring and interactive, he is a special guy.

This was really a great interview, Tom you did a fine job of pacing and interacting with Kate. I havn't read her autobiography yet but I am looking for a copy when I have some money... truly a gem of the profession, especially giving us an intimate view inside her life. I enjoyed every minute of this!

When she was talking about her baby, some of her voice inflection became Captain Janeway, and my heart skipped a beat. That's why she played Janeway, she wanted to find her home, and be at home with her baby girl.

It's just how people see her. Whichever is fine, but I refer to her as OITNB because I never fully got into Star Trek

I don't think Kate was Janeway, I believe Janeway was Kate.
Fans do need to take a relaity check cuz the actors aren’t the characters they play.
You can be respectful and nice but the pedestal doenst need to happen to show love for an actors work on a show
As speaking as a fellow geek, it can get scary for these actors 😭😭😭
