When Tom retired, intelligent talk shows ended. I may not have been interested in all of his guests, but he made the program the best of its type. I saw this when it first aired and taped the show, but thank you for posting it here.
Thank you for uploading this. I spent many sleepless nights with Tom, due to worry after losing my job. He literally kept me sane through his humor. After his show went off the air I was able to email him through his website. What a thoughtful kind man. RIP Tom….and thank you.

Mr. Snyder's final show was simply terrific. It is too bad that CBS went to a pre-taped format after he left. Thanks for sharing.
I LOVED Tom Snyder and miss him dearly.
I was a kid watching this show, I loved his laugh. It was great seeing deep TV, it wasn't the dumb nonsense they have on late night today.
I love when he had the aerobic girls on that rotating platform at the end!
Agreed. But the camera was always too close.
I miss these days and tom and this show
Dennis Miller is from Pittsburgh.
He redeemed himself here.
For me anyway. He was funny, and pretty honest.
Dennis Miller's makeup.
That vertical five-o-clock shadow they
painted on his face is odd. Great show though.
