Oh, my, God. I had no idea the building ever looked like that! I mean, I knew that it would be unique on the inside seeing as the exterior is like nothing else on Earth, but still. It’s all so unique and smooth with very few joints visible in any of the stone. It looks like something straight out of a persons imagination. Both very fantastical, but also very minimalist in stuffing details into all the little looks and crannies you usually get with more traditional catholic or Protestant and Gothic cathedrals. The architect truly was a genius ahead of his time.

Started over a hundred years ago and still not finished. Saw it in person 25 years ago. All the white parts weren’t there when I visited.
