Remember, what ranchers "pay" for grazing rights is miniscule compared to the extra cash and land value they extract from OUR public land continually. Ranchers in the west are incredibly entitled. The ONLY reason they want to "make sure you were legal" was to do EVERYTHING possible to discourage public access.

It may be the law in Wyoming but in Oregon you can land anywhere on BLM and state lands that you feel safe landing.. roads not required..
Alaska as well can't use helicopter for hunting
BLM and National Forest lands are not leased for grazing, they are permitted. Big difference.

The landowner called in the aircraft’s ID to BLM & WGFD reporting it as trespass.
Really? If so, they wasted everyone’s time. We were as legal as anyone who has ever set foot on that land.
