      Well, I would love to tell you to go out and get a Mars Pro... You don’t actually need it to make a castable model...
      There are two resins I would recommend... FunToDo Castable Red: amzn.to/39GANDg
      Phrozen Castable: amzn.to/3cM11Xe
      The Elegoo mars will printing these just fine... It is a matter of printing them at the correct settings... This is the difficult part... I have a video of my castable red funtodo resin... check out my playlist from November or December. I’m working on the Phrozen video now... The Mars pro, i believe is delayed due to the corona virus, but the Mars is still available, and still one of the best SLA printers on the market. In Sunday’s upcoming video, I’ll be covering a class ring design, and that should help you with that part of your question. Good luck, and I’m glad to see so may people getting involved with this fun profession/hobby! Let me know if you have any other questions.

    Nice video!
    Would you say that printed resin is a health risk for skin? There seems to be two different schools of thought about it. I'd be very thankful for your insight.

      Well, I would cast it in metal. As far as resin risk, once it’s cured you are good. (Just don’t eat it) lol. However the items I make and print will be cast in gold or silver.

      @@watchesandjewelry I see, so you print the text in resin, and then you make a mold out of that for precious metals? Perhaps this is answered in your other videos. I'll go take a look, but thank you so much for your reply :).

    Peter have you printed a chain on the elegoo mars, and how hard is it to do, Thanks for your time!

      No chains yet. I have made links for custom extensions. It is time consuming to get the cad model correct but can be done.

      Gotta print them already sprued up for seperation and support....but yes, time consuming, because the orientation can't be repeated.

    how would you do this so i can print letter apart and then place them in later so i can paint them?

    • @watchesandjewelry
      @watchesandjewelry  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Use the font tool and “add text” mesh. Add your letters individually. Model them. Then you can place them any way you want

      There is a tab, in the tools panel. When you have an object selected, and you look at the tab labeled "EDIT", the dimensions of that objects will be listed. You should be in Object Mode, not Edit mode.

      To bring up the Tools panels, put your cursor over the main window, and press the "N" key...
