    My father has been working in Jewelry for 30 years and now he's working for some guy who's giving him tough times... This video could change our lives for better. I seriously considering buying a 3D printer and invest in a small business to help my father and make him do what he loves ❤️ Thank you so much for the video

      if you have the equity you can buy a 3D metal printer that uses gold and silver filament and make your jewelry that way too. But a machine like that costs about 150k usd not to mention the additional costs for a kiln and washer that you will need to invest to wash and burn off any binding agent when printing the model.

    hey man I just wanna tell you how thankful I am because of you. this is honestly the best channel I've ever found. you literally show step by step of everything we beginners need to know, and FOR FREE. like it's crazy man for real, what you're doing is really helping people like me who are serious and are trying to get something going.
    all these other videos I see are people hand doing it and shit, like I respect the hussle but I ain't tryna do all that 😂😂😂 3D printing is perfect. especially when you're in a big city like me bein in Denver Colorado. I'm sure this jewellery stuff is probably getting pretty saturated already, but there's a difference with people who are tryna make a quick buck, or people like you and me who take this serious and care about quality more than anything.
    You're already way ahead of me obviously, and you got your name out there and got a good website and shit, but you're really inspirational man I hope you know that. anyways, much appreciated man, you're doing God's work 💯💕💯💕

      @@fredvalencia2205 I would say if youre doing one or a couple chains just use the casters gold, its not worth the premium you will lose / can get if you sell them at spot price. if youre going to start business you can melt them down, your return will be double or more so its not worth them just sitting there. another option is getting a casting machine and doing it yourself if you go that route just do it in the correct environment so that youre safe

    I have a question, I’m hoping you can give me an answer to.. my great grandmothers engagement ring is very fragile and badly damaged. My sister tried to have it repaired, but it didn’t go well. I just found a ring on eBay that’s exactly the same, in good condition. Can CAD be used from pictures of the eBay ring to make a new mold? My thought was to get a new setting made from a new mold, melted down from the original gold and added to with new gold to make it stronger. I don’t know if it’s possible, but I’d like to try. It would mean so much to my mother..

    Which resin from PowerResins would you recommend to use for casting? I see they have Burn, Opaque, Wax, Dark and Zero.

    I have the standard Elegoo resin that comes in the brown bottle and I want to know if there’s more setting I need besides the bottom and normal exposure. Everywhere I look doesn’t give me anything more that that.

    When making a Cuban link bracelet should do you have to print the link multiple times, my friend has told me that a master mould is required

      @SlavaTVOfficial  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      I would suggest using the mars to print the links, it will cost you nothing to print. much cleaner than rubber mold

    In your previous video considering this topic, you mention that a cheaper eBay listing would be a good choice, but in this video you are saying to go with PowerResins. Can you elaborate a little on the difference?

  • @MenaYoussef

    Great Video. Quick question for the cuban link. Correct me if I am wrong. So will the bench jeweler cast a whole necklace in silver or how exactly does it work. Or does he just cast two links in silver? Also is there a printer you would recommend that can just print a whole chain out so you could skip this step and cast straight into gold.

    • @SlavaTVOfficial
      @SlavaTVOfficial  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      hey, the caster will print every link and the bench jeweler will weld it together. you can print all the links on the mars printer

    • @MenaYoussef
      @MenaYoussef 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@SlavaTVOfficial And why do you need a silver caster if you can just use the gold caster to print every link then take it to the bench jeweler to weld. follow me on IG _menayoussef Ill hook you up with free dental work if u can help me get this down.

    How would you be able to make anything, for example put my current 1” pendant onto a file and make it a 3” pendant, the pendant is a basic Saint christopher charm . Also how would I be able to put a cartoon picture into a file and make it not flat, actually have a belly for example that bulges out? Is there a certain program, and can the printer itself replicate anything you physically put inside of it?
