I Love your videos, Calvin sure you're one hell of a guy, I like how patient you are. I do pipe welding everyday and 10 out of 8 welders are not happy in the UK, yet you manage to record your work and share your knowledge, experience. 🙏👌🍻
From my limited experience, I’ve been a welder for 3 years now and I was always told there was money to be made, it seems in the Uk we are under pressure all the time and the money doesn’t reflect the work.. sad really
Cool vids man, I have done similar work with pulse spray arc in the past. Didn’t have to do all the fitting though. Keep up the good work, look forward to the next.
Hey there, great video! Why on 10-33 you welding root without pulse and right after that you do the cap with pulse? Correct me if I am wrong. Why not to weld all with pulse?
I love watching your video's. I am not a welder but I've always been interested in welding. You just show common sense ways of doing it without making our heads explode. I have a question though. My son does weld. He hums to himself while he's running a bead and I noticed my best friend does the same thing. Is that common for welders?
I agree we all do random things! But I feel like the randomness has a purpose! Humming or moving with a rhythm helps a lot to keep up with whatever welding techniques you might be using! Like let's say using stick and you're whipping in and out of the puddle edge or using a walking motion for tig or mig to sweep the puddle from wall to wall. Keeping a rhythm or tempo to your weld helps a lot with uniformity of the beads :) that and of course helping keep us sane haha.
have you thought about making a pipe welding positioner? would probably help you when making the large awkward pipes etc. frees your other hand to do something else )
Hey! Im programming a robot to weld square branches and I find it easier to keep the gap as small as possible and then just weld way hotter to fuse the inside properly. I'm not a welder, so maybe im missing something.. any idea why it would be easier for a robot to do root like that and easier for human to root a wider gap?
I’m assuming like the US you need to show work authorization documents for the country you are working in. Some countries I can see them wanting you the potential employee to be a citizen of the country. If you’re a citizen, you would therefore already have work authorization proof.
Sharing your knowledge with others is what defines you as a real Craftsman!
Good work 👍. I'm welder from Ukraine. Good luck 🍀
Loving your videos! Solid work! I appreciate your honesty.
Good have you back at it.

Cheap foreign labour flooding the country, willing to work for poor wages, therefore wage rises have been held back for this very reason, for years.
Nice work.
Lovely to see a master at his craft.👊
Man like steve 😅
It’s cool to see another video along with tips and explanations of what your doing and done. Excellent keep up the great work 👍👍👍👍

@@ARCONEWELDING you running lsc on the root passes?
4:50 Are you sort of walking the cup backward but with a mig torch?
I like your job.nice job.brother...

A pulse root weld would be too hot and out of control, it would blow through, the root settings has so much mode control
And it would be spatter central on the inside if you pulsed the root.
I like yuor job..nice job brother...

Thanks bro appreciate it and Us welders are alone in the dark for 10hrs a day we all do weird random things like that 😅😅
@@ARCONEWELDING Lmao.. I totally agree.
I curse when I have my hood down.
I listened to audio books and just drift off in to my own world 🌎

hey man.
maybe you can make some video how to adjust the cutting turch ? (air and gas)? thnks!
Every welder I know owns multiple sized hammers and usually have them nearby but never grab them until we are frustrated. Everything is a hammer.

Hello! We are the manufacturer of laser welding/cutting/cleaning/marking machine, did you need these kinds of equipments in production ?
I really hate it when you say it's "low quality" work. It's not low quality, it's low spec high quality. Good enough is good enough my friend
