Too bad you can't really meditate in it. So many tourists come and go constantly that they only allow you to stay about 15min so the next batch can be ushered through. I wish they could model how the temple is used like the Matrimandir (temple) in Auroville. They take great care that it is truly only used for prayer and meditation, not just a photo op. You actually have to watch a video on its purpose before you can enter. And before you enter you are to walk thru the gardens in silence, preparing you for the experience inside the temple. The lotus temple could be this way too; and in fact was meant to be this way. But, as a Bahai myself, i found the experience a letdown. The Bahais managing this temple really need to visit the matrimandir in Auroville (a place that actually espouses the Bahai teachings) to elevate the Lotus Temple experience to where it should be.
