I am extending a natural bluestone patio in my backyard. Unlike the thermal variety, the natural bluestone as you know comes in different thicknesses, between 1.5 to 2.5 inches. Do you have any tips for leveling the stone on top of the sand for me? Many thanks!
Great work. I have a few questions I hope you could answer.. How many lifts of the crusher run did you use? 4, for the full 12" you excavated? Also you mentioned you were going to add a second layer of geotextile. Was it under the top lift of crusher run? And in part 2, were the screed pipes 1" for ~1-1/4" OD, or were they a 3/4" pipe for ~1" OD?
What is the material called that you are describing @7:30 crush mag? crush-n-run? Three fourths minus? Can't quite catch what you're saying there... Is that something you can buy at Home Depot?
I love this angsty emo adjacent music.
Tha "wheel barrow" is the best thing I have ever seen!!
It's the best for heavy loads, hills, and narrow spaces.
We send part one and part two of this video to our landscaper, fall of 2013. These videos are great and a good resource for us.
1:05 Measure, mark & dig
6:07 Compact subsoil
6:33 Fabric
7:29 Base -- 3 inches, compact, repeat
8:55 Check slope
