I’m trying to wire a chime to trigger when my car door opens and a different sound for when my fuel gauge is low how would get something like that to work? The sound board is negative triggered.
The dome light and the low fuel light both should be negative triggered. Make one circuit with a relay and additional buzzer or chime. The original chime should be able to be triggered when the negative from the fuel light or dome light is turned on.
Take the ground of the LED lamp and attach it to the number 85 circuit. Bring a positive to the other side of the LED. When the circuit on 85 is grounded it will actuate the circuit and the LED will light.
Thanks from Ireland for the vid, well explained 👍
Glad it helped

Where would one add an led light to show the circuit has been triggered by a ground signal?
