I gave all my pulls i had saved up for Changli to Jinhsi + her weapon and it felt right at the moment, but as the game goes on it feels like Changli just keeps getting stronger. I love Changli's design and playstyle way more, but I pulled for Jinhsi because meta. Now it looks like Changlis time in the sun is finally coming with Brant Carlotta and maybe even Zani having superior synergy with her.
I pull Charlotta too but i use Changli all the time in openworld because easy to engage to enemy and one shot ores feels good. Mine is S0R0 and i skip Jinshi for her, she’s damage output not like dedicated main dps but i have no regret.Sorry for my poor English.
Quick swapping is more of a high skill tech, if u can clear the tower without quick swap it would make quick swap pointless, but if u can’t then that tells u that play style is highly skilled based and less of a “oh this is possible so all of us can do it”
@@crownedking_cj8890 I find the best way to quickswap clear is to not worry too much about the small details. If it's a long attack, quickswap. If Changli skill is on cooldown, quickswap. If you're about to get hit, quickswap. It's absolutely the best form of "random bs go", and it works very well. Most fancy attacks can be quickswapped out of anyways, so 90% of the time, you're being efficient rather than just button mashing.
it does end up being static though with enough practice since you are going to press the same buttons in the same sequence for almost every fight once it becomes muscle memory. There are almost no bosses that forces us to change our rotations drastically in wuwa. It is pretty fun when it is new though
I always use changli with every new character I get. Inicially because of exploration with inferno rider on changli, but I quickly realized how much she can synergize with nearly everyone in combat.
I mostly do hypercarry teams, but learning basic quickswap can be very beneficial to all team comps. 1. It helps low concerto gain characters get concerto faster. 2. It also helps low energy regen character gets their lib faster. 3. Keeps your skill on cooldown regularly so you don't waste downtime during non burst. Same basic knowledge from playing MMOs like Wow or FFXIV. 4. A lot more characters will also become much more 'viable' and less clunky to play (in addition to normal animation canceling like jump/dodge/skill button).

@@Sthhuihryjbtijhuijnn I think people associate quickswap too much with sweaty gameplay, when even on Prydwen 1.0 Jiyan rotation that a lot of people diss them for suggest you should swap to Jiyan to Echo then to Mortefi then outro to Jiyan to save the uptime of Qingloong, long before dodge cancel thing was introduced. It is basically just swap to other char to do things while the other do things without full concerto. That's it.

You don't have to sacrifice the 80% damage increase on Carlotta's ult in a quickswap team. You simply have to use the ult while her forte is full before you swap off. You don't even need to have the forte activation ready, as long as the bar is full you get the buff.
@@vijayaraghavasripathi6479 just use the standard 5 star pistols. Especially if you have Verina and Encore (and plan to use them), then use all your standard pulls on weapons. Save your astrites. Carlotta is the strongest dps in the game, she's not gonna underperform without her signature.

I don't have any build on him yet, but I know the abilities that I can cancel with Cucaracha, so if you made a guide of Rover Spectro and added some guidelines about what abilities of him can be cancelled by swapping, I will appreciate hehe. 11:14 one crazy thing... Here, if my calculations are right, you can swap out of changli on her 4th basic ( the one thar ends with her on umbrella) and intro to carolatta , swap back to changli activate conquest , swap to carolatta use skill twice..... Yeah craxy, if intro isnt available just use 2 skills first
swap cd is longer than the time between the 3rd and 4rth basic attack. Though, saving the enhanced attack does help a lot to chase down the enemy or with very dispersed enemies.

Quick swap is ingenious that surpasses Honkai Impact and Genshin. With quick swap in Wuwa, you can dodge tracking attacks and lasers. (The lasers will aim at the character you swap out of, and this type of evasive ability is aesthetically pleasing.) Swapping can also help you close in the distance to the enemy.

Ngl this is a pretty user friendly quick swap, like no swapping off fourth basic or swapping immediately as changli skill starts and swapping back to cast conquest or capture, etc. Most crazy swap i ever acomplished till now ( using tab) was immediately as yao uses his skill during liberation swap to changli , immediately use her skill and immediately swap back to yao just as he reaches the enemy to activate the second part of his enhanced skill and then swap again to changli to activate capture
my favorite changli quick swap is once her true sight is ready, she will automatically perform the attack when swapped in. So you can swap to her and immediately swap to your third character, effectively spending 0 time on her.
@Google_Censored_Commenter for some reason it doesn't always happen, if you swab back fast enough, such that Changli never left the field she won't activate her true sight, you need to swap into her after she dissapears to achive that,
I was waiting for PS5 version to finally learn quickswap and it’s been nothing but fun. Mobile was dreadful I didn’t bother. Yinlin + XLY and Changli + Carlotta just blasted through towers easily. By far my fav teams. Also a tip. For new, future players who start WuWa avoid putting story cutscenes in the vid. Would be unfortunate if they see story spoilers in a combat video 😅
Okay, I'm not good at skill requiring rotations and also it's hard on mobile, BUT I'll start from basics simply by NOT waiting for skills to cooldown. I'll use my E, the switch to another character to build concerto. I think it might help my rotations and improve my skills slowly but surely
You can find a Changli Shorekeeper rotation by Maygi a theorycrafter she also has a good rotation for Lumi. Your rotation is useful when it comes to if you only have Verina
I'm not particularly skilled with quick swapping, but I did use moonlit Changli with Carlotta and Shorekeeper for the latest center tower, second fight. Even if they aren't really buffing either way in a hypercarry playstyle, it's a credit to both of their kits for doing insane damage on their own that I can still succeed without committing to the optimal game mechanics.
Another cool thing is, triple swap with SK, where you could theoritically have 100% uptime on her golden realm by activating her lib and two intros before the previous golden realm expires, but its difficult to manage this as you need to keep track of whose doing the intro when never managed to replicate this consistently , mostly because i was lazy asf. Bus yeah you can swap out of SKs heavy forte and skill , plus you can swap to her after activating changlis skill to do a plunge and atk 3 , 4 to generate forte. I think void enigma put out s video for it, he didnt give out a baseline rotation tho, might wanna check it out still
Not for tower runs but I was doing a fun run with zhehi and yinlin and the its so fun to quickswap between each other while the birds are flying and electric shocks are falling lol.

I would love a Rover (both spectro and Havoc) QS guide! I was able to clear with Shorekeeper, S Rover and Yinlin on left tower but only with 3 seconds to spare so I know it's possible but I currently lack skill.
with how Changli design i think she would be forever in the meta , the fact she can sweep in and deal quick damage all the time is crazy good even if Kuro release another quickswap you can just play both of them altogether too
Only Changli can do quick swap with any dps "other than jihnsi " becuse for a sub dps she does 80% of a main dps damage, thats more damage than what a buffing sub dps can bring, which is why brant will be Changli sub dps, she really is borderline a main dps with too much raw damage
Biggest problem I have either qs is heavy input requirement which gives me terrible pain in hands after only couple of minutes of playing. Whereas hypercarry gameplay can be played for hours 😅
Something I always fail to see mentions and a mistake I see in every Carlotta cahngli quickswap team is people mentioning how she doesn't need intro's at all and can just feed them to the 2nd dps. Carlotta can just heavy->skill twice to generate half her bar, then repeat it to get her ult ready, this means those intro's are better fed into changli but it does make her messier to use with shorekeeper.

Guess it's finally time to rebuild my XLY, since he's been running Lingering Tunes (I _hated_ the original Thundering Mephis & its 6 hour long animation sequence), since now with the new Nightmare Thundering Mephis, the ridiculous echo skill time was reduced, making it much easier to use, and Void Thunder actually tolerable. I just wish his build wasn't so damn good, since Lingering Tunes is not good for quick swap but works great solo...
I think you missed an explanation on 11:14 here. It looks like after you plunge from Chang Li's intro, you swapped to Carlotta and use her echo and swap back to Chang Li to use BA combo. Great video tho. I have the general idea of quick swap now, the problem is my hand reaction and potato phone. Really skill issue. Now about the new Nightmare Echoes, looks like we need to change the pattern a bit, from start the rotation with echo to end the rotation with echo

Everyday i dream of buffs snapshotting to reward quickswapping... Would justify the currently steady hp increase in toa, honestly. Because it rewards skilled players more. Dk about the casuals, though. Hopefully, this vid can help with that❤
Snapshotting. Basically buff that persist after swapped out. Isn't such buff already exist like Youhu coordinate buff? Not even sure why snapshotting even necessary in Wuwa because the mechanic is different. Wuwa just need to add character that can provide teamwide buff and buff that persist after being swapped

In fact it will make the game easier overall because the buff is easier to manage and less restriction, less hassle timing the outro buff effect. Quickswap get rewarded because buff stay after swapped but hypercarry team get rewarded more because less hassle to time the buff and funneling it to main dps
i start to get use carlotta and changli quickswap. Everytime i use carlotta heavy attack or resonance skills. i will quickswap changli and use her resonance skills. Quickswap between changli and carlotta feels like using dante gunslinger and swordmaster. Hope i get two more of her during her rerun because i need her S4 ( Increase teammate attack 20% for 30s After intro skill cast)
i play quickswap carlotta/changli in mobile and its definitely easier imo compared to XLY/Changli quickswap. Theres no definite and strict rotation, in quickswap, its more on getting the "feel of it" and knowing the timing on when to quickswap to avoid cancelling the current outgoing char moves. Visually, Its Absolute Cinema if you pull it off if you also manage to time your dodge and parries. Its so much fun in mobile.
9:36 wait, is quick swap really possible in high ping ? I discarded the ideia when I saw for the first time bc sometimes when I do try to even echo switch sometimes the echo skill does not active so I thought it was lag bc of the high ping, imagine do quick swap, it seems impossible to me edit : a real question I have as someone that does no quick swap at all ... do you wait until you see the animation happening or you just press the button and switch immediately after? for example, I struggle to do heron swap and keep the character in the ground, bc when the animation starts it is already flying away
@@williamg5495 I am playing in 220 ping as my account is in SEA and I am now in EU. Yes, it is possible, especially the basic quickswap. If there is high ping, you might not be able to do extremely quick swaps or cancel, as it would instead cancel the damage output altogether. You instead wait until a certain animation is played then you press the button. Having high ping means pressing a bit later. Some normal quickswap is doable even with high ping, for example, echo cancel with Heron/Sentry.
Tried a rando 10 pull on ZZ banner after getting Carlotta S2 - hit 5 star & was soo pumped! Until I saw Jianxin >< S1 now. Will stick with quickswap Chingli

When you swapped out Carlotta after her heavy attack to complete changli's rotation, what happens to the buff Carlotta gains from her heavy attack? Does it stay intact or is it cancelled because Carlotta's not on the field anymore? Or does the buff stay active ?

Yes but the rotation will be a bit slower since she needs an intro skill to fill her concerto energy faster. As you saw in the footage, all the intro was mostly given to Carlotta for more resonance energy regeneration
Guys I really need help , iam a new player I recently started playing Wuthering waves since 10 days , I pulled Carlotta I saved every asterise for Carlotta and somehow managed to pull but I did not have enough Astrides for weapon and could not farm enough because I could only farm 2000 astrides all I spent , is there any way to get weapon once this banner finishes , by using any materials ?
Can we lock resonators icon (upper left screen) in android ? In my current state there's only 2 resonators (out field) and whenever I change my on field resonator it replace them. It's inconvenient to do quick swap because I need to memorize should I tap the upper out field resonator or the below. I see a lot PC(?) user there's 3 resonators in there, the on field resonator also in the list. Can I do that in android?
Unfortunately that's not possible on mobile, this sadly one of the main reasons why I advise mobile players against playing quickswap unless you don't care about meta and just wanna have fun. Hypercarry is mobile player's best friend sadly.
I wish Changli outro skill gets changed.. She plays like main dps, concerto build speed like main dps, on field time also likr main dps. Outro buffer is so strange. or at least outro buff duration not crippled 10s. Make it 14s like everyone else..

Not sure about that part. Average non optimized hypercarry team usually clears ToA at 1.15 to 1.30 mins. I used to regularly cleared it at 1.40-1.50 mins playing hypercarry when I first clear ToA. The XY/Carlotta quickswap clocks at around 1.15 mins seems pretty good to me. Especially with that level of gacha pull investment. There is also benefits to learning quickswap for hypercarry setup, as during non burst phase, you can use the quickswap windows to swap for skill press. Allowing you to gain more concerto + lib energy to help low concerto gain units or low energy regen team.
Hmm well, u playing 2 dps, that should be normal, but if u wanna get more damage by playing dual dps with Carlotta, just add Jinhsi at the end of rotation 😅specially if Verina is in team.. I used to play Verina Jiyan Jinhsi first towers clear middle tower (was easy)😄still, the point was Carlotta lost dmg in quickswap , that Aix that is right now in side tower can almost be one rotated by 1 Carlotta's normal rotation😅 S0 R1. My point is if u playing quickswap Carlotta u losing basicly half the dmg she does.😅 I don't know man ..that is a huge lost slightly being compensated by the dmg of the 2nd dps.

@@HeliumHe exactly ,the point on Quickswap team is literally taking advantage of long characters animations to deal more Damage per second. Personally I don't see why play it if u losing half of damage on 1 of the 2 dps. Xiangli Yao y Changli works so good cause their biggest damage burst kinda comes from forte and Liberation. The rest of their kit doesnt matter that much.

I also think everyone needs to try quickswapping. It elevates the combat experience by making the game play non linear unlike a hypercarry team

Does the damage still go off during the ult cutscene? I sometimes get the impression it does.

I don't regret learning quick swap style. It helped me clear the last floors of toa a couple times

Quick swap is ingenious that surpasses Honkai Impact and Genshin. With quick swap in Wuwa, you can dodge tracking attacks and lasers. (The lasers will aim at the character you swap out of, and this type of evasive ability is aesthetically pleasing.) Swapping can also help you close in the distance to the enemy.
I dont know if im tweaking but when I use quickswap, the enemy vibration decrease like 2x compared to my hypercarry

Ngl this is a pretty user friendly quick swap, like no swapping off fourth basic or swapping immediately as changli skill starts and swapping back to cast conquest or capture, etc.
Most crazy swap i ever acomplished till now ( using tab) was immediately as yao uses his skill during liberation swap to changli , immediately use her skill and immediately swap back to yao just as he reaches the enemy to activate the second part of his enhanced skill and then swap again to changli to activate capture
my favorite changli quick swap is once her true sight is ready, she will automatically perform the attack when swapped in. So you can swap to her and immediately swap to your third character, effectively spending 0 time on her.
@Google_Censored_Commenter for some reason it doesn't always happen, if you swab back fast enough, such that Changli never left the field she won't activate her true sight, you need to swap into her after she dissapears to achive that,

I was waiting for PS5 version to finally learn quickswap and it’s been nothing but fun. Mobile was dreadful I didn’t bother. Yinlin + XLY and Changli + Carlotta just blasted through towers easily. By far my fav teams.
Also a tip. For new, future players who start WuWa avoid putting story cutscenes in the vid. Would be unfortunate if they see story spoilers in a combat video 😅
Okay, I'm not good at skill requiring rotations and also it's hard on mobile, BUT I'll start from basics simply by NOT waiting for skills to cooldown. I'll use my E, the switch to another character to build concerto. I think it might help my rotations and improve my skills slowly but surely
You can find a Changli Shorekeeper rotation by Maygi a theorycrafter she also has a good rotation for Lumi. Your rotation is useful when it comes to if you only have Verina

I'm not particularly skilled with quick swapping, but I did use moonlit Changli with Carlotta and Shorekeeper for the latest center tower, second fight.
Even if they aren't really buffing either way in a hypercarry playstyle, it's a credit to both of their kits for doing insane damage on their own that I can still succeed without committing to the optimal game mechanics.

Another cool thing is, triple swap with SK, where you could theoritically have 100% uptime on her golden realm by activating her lib and two intros before the previous golden realm expires, but its difficult to manage this as you need to keep track of whose doing the intro when never managed to replicate this consistently , mostly because i was lazy asf.
Bus yeah you can swap out of SKs heavy forte and skill , plus you can swap to her after activating changlis skill to do a plunge and atk 3 , 4 to generate forte.
I think void enigma put out s video for it, he didnt give out a baseline rotation tho, might wanna check it out still

Not for tower runs but I was doing a fun run with zhehi and yinlin and the its so fun to quickswap between each other while the birds are flying and electric shocks are falling lol.

I would love a Rover (both spectro and Havoc) QS guide! I was able to clear with Shorekeeper, S Rover and Yinlin on left tower but only with 3 seconds to spare so I know it's possible but I currently lack skill.

Ever since I pulled Carlotta, I have been using her alongside Xiangli Yao and Varina. It's amazing how well they synergize for a quick swap team.

Only Changli can do quick swap with any dps "other than jihnsi " becuse for a sub dps she does 80% of a main dps damage, thats more damage than what a buffing sub dps can bring, which is why brant will be Changli sub dps, she really is borderline a main dps with too much raw damage
Biggest problem I have either qs is heavy input requirement which gives me terrible pain in hands after only couple of minutes of playing. Whereas hypercarry gameplay can be played for hours 😅
I have been trying 3 dps quickswap on the exploration, but never try on the tower. Idk how good it will be for content tho
If you’re familiar with how all the characters work and they have proper investment, They can clear the tower.
i play her in a dual dps rotation with havoc rover and verina. So strong and fast paced
Finished around 58 seconds on the middle crownless with carlotta xiangli yao and shorekeeper
Something I always fail to see mentions and a mistake I see in every Carlotta cahngli quickswap team is people mentioning how she doesn't need intro's at all and can just feed them to the 2nd dps.
Carlotta can just heavy->skill twice to generate half her bar, then repeat it to get her ult ready, this means those intro's are better fed into changli but it does make her messier to use with shorekeeper.

Guess it's finally time to rebuild my XLY, since he's been running Lingering Tunes (I _hated_ the original Thundering Mephis & its 6 hour long animation sequence), since now with the new Nightmare Thundering Mephis, the ridiculous echo skill time was reduced, making it much easier to use, and Void Thunder actually tolerable. I just wish his build wasn't so damn good, since Lingering Tunes is not good for quick swap but works great solo...

I think you missed an explanation on 11:14 here. It looks like after you plunge from Chang Li's intro, you swapped to Carlotta and use her echo and swap back to Chang Li to use BA combo. Great video tho. I have the general idea of quick swap now, the problem is my hand reaction and potato phone. Really skill issue.
Now about the new Nightmare Echoes, looks like we need to change the pattern a bit, from start the rotation with echo to end the rotation with echo

Everyday i dream of buffs snapshotting to reward quickswapping... Would justify the currently steady hp increase in toa, honestly. Because it rewards skilled players more. Dk about the casuals, though. Hopefully, this vid can help with that❤

Snapshotting. Basically buff that persist after swapped out. Isn't such buff already exist like Youhu coordinate buff? Not even sure why snapshotting even necessary in Wuwa because the mechanic is different. Wuwa just need to add character that can provide teamwide buff and buff that persist after being swapped
Or just remove the limitation of buff removed after swapped and keep the duration effect, literally same as snapshotting effect

In fact it will make the game easier overall because the buff is easier to manage and less restriction, less hassle timing the outro buff effect. Quickswap get rewarded because buff stay after swapped but hypercarry team get rewarded more because less hassle to time the buff and funneling it to main dps
i start to get use carlotta and changli quickswap. Everytime i use carlotta heavy attack or resonance skills. i will quickswap changli and use her resonance skills. Quickswap between changli and carlotta feels like using dante gunslinger and swordmaster.
Hope i get two more of her during her rerun because i need her S4 ( Increase teammate attack 20% for 30s After intro skill cast)
Quickswap is quite difficult on mobile so i usually just opt to playing hypercarry :(
i play quickswap carlotta/changli in mobile and its definitely easier imo compared to XLY/Changli quickswap. Theres no definite and strict rotation, in quickswap, its more on getting the "feel of it" and knowing the timing on when to quickswap to avoid cancelling the current outgoing char moves. Visually, Its Absolute Cinema if you pull it off if you also manage to time your dodge and parries. Its so much fun in mobile.

9:36 wait, is quick swap really possible in high ping ? I discarded the ideia when I saw for the first time bc sometimes when I do try to even echo switch sometimes the echo skill does not active so I thought it was lag bc of the high ping, imagine do quick swap, it seems impossible to me
edit : a real question I have as someone that does no quick swap at all ... do you wait until you see the animation happening or you just press the button and switch immediately after? for example, I struggle to do heron swap and keep the character in the ground, bc when the animation starts it is already flying away
@@williamg5495 I am playing in 220 ping as my account is in SEA and I am now in EU. Yes, it is possible, especially the basic quickswap.
If there is high ping, you might not be able to do extremely quick swaps or cancel, as it would instead cancel the damage output altogether. You instead wait until a certain animation is played then you press the button. Having high ping means pressing a bit later.
Some normal quickswap is doable even with high ping, for example, echo cancel with Heron/Sentry.
That why Chanli is a teacher, she there to make sure every skill of her kids is on cooldown :v

When you swapped out Carlotta after her heavy attack to complete changli's rotation, what happens to the buff Carlotta gains from her heavy attack? Does it stay intact or is it cancelled because Carlotta's not on the field anymore? Or does the buff stay active ?
I think it doesn't activate until u use the ult

Yes but the rotation will be a bit slower since she needs an intro skill to fill her concerto energy faster. As you saw in the footage, all the intro was mostly given to Carlotta for more resonance energy regeneration

Guys I really need help , iam a new player I recently started playing Wuthering waves since 10 days , I pulled Carlotta I saved every asterise for Carlotta and somehow managed to pull but I did not have enough Astrides for weapon and could not farm enough because I could only farm 2000 astrides all I spent , is there any way to get weapon once this banner finishes , by using any materials ?
Nope. You can’t get the weapon if another banner shows up. You can use the static mist standard weapon for now and save for the weapon later

Can we lock resonators icon (upper left screen) in android ? In my current state there's only 2 resonators (out field) and whenever I change my on field resonator it replace them. It's inconvenient to do quick swap because I need to memorize should I tap the upper out field resonator or the below.
I see a lot PC(?) user there's 3 resonators in there, the on field resonator also in the list. Can I do that in android?

Unfortunately that's not possible on mobile, this sadly one of the main reasons why I advise mobile players against playing quickswap unless you don't care about meta and just wanna have fun.
Hypercarry is mobile player's best friend sadly.

Average non optimized hypercarry team usually clears ToA at 1.15 to 1.30 mins. I used to regularly cleared it at 1.40-1.50 mins playing hypercarry when I first clear ToA.
The XY/Carlotta quickswap clocks at around 1.15 mins seems pretty good to me. Especially with that level of gacha pull investment.
There is also benefits to learning quickswap for hypercarry setup, as during non burst phase, you can use the quickswap windows to swap for skill press. Allowing you to gain more concerto + lib energy to help low concerto gain units or low energy regen team.
Hmm well, u playing 2 dps, that should be normal, but if u wanna get more damage by playing dual dps with Carlotta, just add Jinhsi at the end of rotation 😅specially if Verina is in team.. I used to play Verina Jiyan Jinhsi first towers clear middle tower (was easy)😄still, the point was Carlotta lost dmg in quickswap , that Aix that is right now in side tower can almost be one rotated by 1 Carlotta's normal rotation😅 S0 R1. My point is if u playing quickswap Carlotta u losing basicly half the dmg she does.😅 I don't know man ..that is a huge lost slightly being compensated by the dmg of the 2nd dps.

Quickswap isn't just Changli sweaty things. It is just swap to anothrt char to take advantage of long animation without outro.
@@HeliumHe exactly ,the point on Quickswap team is literally taking advantage of long characters animations to deal more Damage per second. Personally I don't see why play it if u losing half of damage on 1 of the 2 dps. Xiangli Yao y Changli works so good cause their biggest damage burst kinda comes from forte and Liberation. The rest of their kit doesnt matter that much.
