for any new f2p/low spenders, dont be afraid of the limited weapon banner. if you get a character you want early and have a good amount of pulls left, but dont have a good weapon for that character, it might be worth pulling the weapon. the game has been pretty generous with the free currency it gives each patch so far, and the fact weapons are guaranteed and can swapped in the endgame content makes these weapons really good options to pick up. this goes for mainly sub-dps/main-dps characters.
literally just started playing this game last week after beating the story of 1.0 and dropping it due to the lackluster start, everything ive heard has said kuro has vastly improved on basically every aspect of the game since then so i cant wait to get into it again and see how they changed things/improved them
That's surprising to me. I play pretty much all the gacha games, maining HSR and WuWa. I thought WuWa got really good and stayed good after 1.0. Mt. Firmament and Black Shores were pretty good. Rinascita definetly upped the game.

The number one thing i say to new players as a day 1 wuwa player is to not give up. The first areas arent next level. It starts to really open up at Mt. Firmament. Then Renacita is almost like a whole different game. Its a slow burn at first but if you make it to Renacita you will get blown away.
Pretty solid tips, Brax! If I may share a bit of knowledge as well for new or returning players, you will encounter events wherein you get ECHO SELECTORS and MATERIAL SELECTORS. Focus on building your one team and only use these selectors if you really need to fill in the need for that one team. But, once you have more options then feel free to use them as you like! Kuro is pretty generous when it comes to these selectors since you see them in almost every event. Just make sure not to brick your account by spending all your echo lvls in one place. Those are still a hassle to farm and hopefully Kuro makes it better soon!
The best tip for new players: don't try to understand everything at once, because these games have too many complex systems at the start, especially those new to Gacha. Take things one step at a time and, most importantly, have fun. Always gets overlooked, but always needs to be said.
One thing I hat you didn’t mention that is super important for new players is concerto generation/and forte generation/how to use. So many players don’t know or understand how to use these effectively and how they affect your team building. Besides that, great video! Keep it up. Cheers!

1 tip for every lord arbiter out there: when you hit databank level 15, use the echo synthesis to get more 5 stars echoes so you can level up your databank faster

Brax didn't mention this, but it's usually better to play with WASD for movement, and Space Bar to Jump, it's also great to breathe oxygen and not starve to death, some really important things, new players don't do.
Great tips, i came back to wuthering wave after 4 months because version 2.0 looks very interesting and has many rewards and new things. The game's appearance is also brighter after version 2.0
fun fact that begginer selector char banner can actually give you a chance at multiple selected 5 stars, and since its a selector and disapears after the 5 star is gained, you can get more then 1 5 star. my first 10pull i got 2 calcharos...i dont think ill ever get this lucky in a game for a long time.
here's my exploration tip for new players: - Hoverdrone exists as a substitute to aimed pistol shot, and it's great for farming ores in range because it can Instantly destroy them, and can also destroy rocks and any destructibles in the world in a distance. - Ascension Mats for characters can be bought weekly in any apothecary vendor (marked with a pill bottle icon) 15 times a week, and the game has a feature to mark any abundant spot for that any ascension materiall in the world, simply by going to the inventory or resonator menu, then check the ascension material, in the Sources tab you can choose the Collection Spot and the game will show you most spots that have abundant materials.
I personally wouldn't recommend for new players to buy ascension mats that can be gathered in open world due to currency cost. They are relatively expensive and the amount is only 15 per week, when in open world they respawn daily. Problem is that at early stage there are too many characters you'd want to build and that will absolutely dry your credits.
The reason why there's a massive surge of new players on WuWa beside 2.0 drops is because they just release this game on console PS5. I thank to Kuro Games for releasing this to console otherwise my phone will be in constant heat and the graphics are hurting my eyes bcs it keeps lagging overtime. So yeah i'm one of those new player now and have Charlotta to carry my game throughout the main 1.0 story.
It's my first week of playing the game and I must say, Kuro went deep into their bag in this patch. This game is too much fun and the story writing and screenplay is top tier

I started playing Wuwa in 2.0 and it was overwhelming: tons of new gameplay mechanics and materials, and character guides usually made for people who already know the specifics. I had to watch several videos about combat mechanics but I'm sure I still have a lot to learn! And damn, that was painful to know Wuwa has 80 pulls pity. Carlota scamed me hard for almost 160 pulls T___T
Shorekeeper is like furina. Verina is like bennet. Can you guys make more example like this, so i can understand the value of each character in this game.

one thing that wasn't brought up but is super important is leveling up characters the right way you want to first focus on the material you need that let's them increase their max level after getting them to max you can then focus on their weapon since that takes the second least amount of time after that you want to focus on their abilities up to level 8/9 (this takes forever) and only do echoes if you can guarantee get gold pick one day of the week to fight a special boss. fighting it three times that week is needed to level up a characters abilities, and it gets annoying really quickly obviously you'll want to farm money and exp as well (you should probably do this one first up to like, 500 exp items and over 5 million of the currency) getting your world level up will make getting the items easier because you will get more bang for your stamina.
If you're a new player playin wuwa, there's no regret on investing your main character as your main dps, cuz it hits like truck (depends on your build) but both elements still work on Rover.
I just can't get enough of this 2.0 OST. Btw, I think it's important to mention that main character is also pretty valuable unit and you can build him without worries.
As a long time gacha player, my tips for new players is to invest on a team, but once that teams dps' element is on the resistance of the enemy boss is when I start farming for another team or just fight a different boss. If the boss is one youd need to farm then good luck

roccia was mainly made a dedicated sub dps for camellya, so go for it if you like both resonators, they synchronized pretty much for each other, still we don't when it is camellya's rerun tho

I'll not be rolling the gacha for some time (my pfp might indicate who I'm saving for) and as a former genshin player, I know building traveler is one of the worst things you can do for your account, but looks like this is not the case in wuwa
Yea go for it, the mc or rover is one of the most beginner friendly damage dealer in the game, especially his havoc elements. Although u need to invest in his team and echoes(artifacts) a bit if u want to use him for late game content
How often do limited characters get rerun? I wanna start wuwa because carlotta shares the same VA as tohsaka rin but it seems like her banner ended already
Probably around 2.3 since her banner just ended a few days ago. Her English Va is also very good. Many fan favorite characters are coming soon so you should start Wuwa if you are interested
I have never been interested in Anime at all. Everytime I try to get into it I somehow just lose interest but this game is actually fun even though I have no idea what I am doing. Just started and the story looks interesting.

She is a general support meant to work with every single team comp, alongside shorekeeper. Future sustains will likely be more niche focused, so pull her
She will always be relevant. She's a very flexible support just like Shorekeeper. You will need 3 healer supports in Tower of Adversity so pick her up if you haven't already.

Just one correction, store doesn't refresh monthly but with each version update (x.1, x.2, etc) which is 6-7 weeks

I have Verina thru losing 50/50 but didnt build her😅 i built Baizhi S6 and converted Jianxin into a healer/shielder till i got Shorekeeper in 1.3
She is a general support meant to work with every single team comp, alongside shorekeeper.
Future sustains will likely be more niche focused, so pull her
She will always be relevant. She's a very flexible support just like Shorekeeper. You will need 3 healer supports in Tower of Adversity so pick her up if you haven't already.
