Xiangli Yao and Calcharo quickswap is currently my favorite way to play the game. Once you get a good rhythm going every fight starts looking like that one scene from Jujutsu Kaisen when Yuji and Nanami jump Mahito!

That's what I've always thought as well, he's still my favorite and dare I say best on-field main dps overall exactly because his pros and cons are well balanced. More than my Camellya and Jinhsi.

I'm actually really sad I missed him for free. I didn't start playing until late in 1.3 and he would've made progression so much easier. I wish you well and hope you continue to make the content you do. I think it's important to the community and the game to show that you can just build and use whoever you like without needing to feel guilty about it. Obviously some units will be better for an account than others and you might struggle a bit more, but I don't think the game is anywhere close to a state where that matters as much as people think it does (as long as you're not running the triple healer SK / Verina / Baizhi team...maybe don't do that lol...or who knows, maybe it's secretly amazing).
Don’t forget this was also a psychological tactic to release XY for free so the WuWa community has FOMO when continuing playing the game and not doing a break again
He’s a real asset. I’m not a fan but I’d be lying if I said he wasn’t any good. I play him in quick swap with Camellya. Also, I heard talks about a Wuwa project between Sainttontas and Iyo and how they want to collaborate with smaller creators, you should check it out.
I'm so glad I decided to pull for his glove on his release, he's my strongest dps right now and basically my crutch to clear almost all the content. I pulled Yinlin for him too, she's wonderfull!
xly is still the best dps i’ve had in my acc. i rely on him a lot and find him more comfortable and fun to play than jinhsi whos supposedly stronger. he’s been carrying me hard since i got him lol

I would say that it will take quite a while before we get Yao’s Rerun so if you really like his playstyle, absolutely pull for him. New characters like Zani will get their reruns fairly quickly compared to old characters
Not playing while he was free was my biggest regret, but in my defence it was unplayable because of the stuttering during that time, pulling for a character you know was free a few patches ago sucks.
5:46 this is why I prefer WuWa’s combat as a whole over PGR. PGR has better bosses and is better for solo styling but in WuWa it actually feels like you’re using an actual team thanks to quick swap, not just swap the 1 character on field. Now I’m just waiting for WuWa bosses to catch up to the quality and difficulty of the ones in PGR
Why my XLY is OP: for some reason my Void Thunder echoes have rolled comically better stats than literally every other set. It’s a statistical anomaly, because I haven’t even tried very hard to get them.

I wondered the same thing. But it makes sense when you consider how players suffered with optimisation issues at the game’s launch. Especially for mobile players. I heard some had issues like overheating So I think giving Yao for free was kind of their apology to the player base
I know this is not the place but i hope they do daily hologram challenges. Provides an abundance of extra rewards if u can beat the hologram with restricted team requirements. No beat the time but just being able to beat the hologram with like say only using 2 supports or one fusion, one electro, one glacio for example.
i have jinshi, changli and jiyan but xiangi yao is the one i always turn too. he’s my favourite and super easy for a mobile player with skill issues such as myself

As a waifu collector who occasionally pulls for chad male characters, i wasnt really interested in Xiangli Yao at first, mostly cause his designed didnt seem anything special to me and i didnt know anything about him. That changed after i tested him on his demo (New player so i missed his free giveway due to potato pc :c) First of all i love characters that fight by hand. I love martial arts, did Muay Thai and even watched UFC regularly for some time, so characters who fistfight are an instant win for me. Second of all... HE IS FUN AS FUCK! As a representative of the Waifu Collector's association, Xiangli Yao is certified "200% Worth it" Husbando.
It's not even fun how much more powerful he is than Calcharo. Why did they design him to be literally a quality of life version of Calcharo and gave him away for free so soon. 😢 I want illusive realm Calcharo to be the default kit 😂
XLY will be Changli equivalent, no matter whos to be paired he'll doing good. But If you want comfy gameplay, used him as hypercarry, and Yinlin as moonlit handler

F2p here; pulled his sig back in 1.2 and with yinlin and sk (with their sigs) he deals about 250k, sometimes 300k per ult I think it really depends on your own experience; if you think he needs the upgrade depending on what you think on his performance
The stonard is good but you need more copies to be able to rival the abyss surges. So at if you have both of those weapons at R1, go with Abyss surges. Concerning his weapon, I think it’s a good investment if you pull for it because of the crit rate substat which will be good on future characters.
Honestly I have never took Xiangli Yao out of my team since his release . He has managed to do 200k with just shorekeeper and yangyang. I dont have yinlin or jiaxin and I dont intend to pull Yinlin. And he has zero sequences honestly I've always wanted to see just how much damage an s6 Xiangli Yao does
lol this is probably for non invested on. Because he does not compare to cam fully invested LMAO. Cam damage potential is over 2.7 million and Yao damage is capped at 2 million. ( Keep in mind I am speaking for an investment pespective) Great video btw!
Now I understand and wholeheartedly agree that Xiangli Yao is much better than Camellya at S0, but what about when we take into account the sequences...? Cause I'm not really sure any character at this point in time can stack up to Camellya S6 on overall damage potential. With The Shorekeeper, Sanhua, and Camellya combo. Having Camellya alone doing 2M+ damage in a single rotation is so much fun. Pretty much everything dies before I can get my second nuke off in the first place. I don't have any sequences on my XLY so I can't say much to his potential there, so I'm actually VERY curious about how he stacks up at that point.
Good point. My analysis only took into consideration what they offer at S0 since most players can’t afford higher sequences. That will probably be in another video When I start whaling in the game😄

@@RebrandingChannels What I mostly do is to try and figure out what needs to be accomplished like high damage, low on-field time, more concerto energy regen, high forte stacks regeneration etc. After that I pretty much do everything in the character’s kit to see if it can help with the stuff I mentioned earlier. In terms of utility, he has everything a dps character needs to do damage so he fits every possible situation you will encounter. The crit issue is normal on characters like jinshi and camellya😄. It can be annoying sometimes

I have question, but out of context. If I wanted to build 4 star support and sub dps (Baizhi, Yangyang, Sanhua, etc), does leveling them to lvl 80 is enough (only build weapon and echoes because they're shareable)? Since you know how tiring and resource consuming maxing them to 90 😂
It depends on how much investment they have besides their level like echos for example. If you don’t have cracked echos on them which can increase their personal damage, it’s not worth it to upgrade them to level 90 because of the huge resource demand. However, I recommend that you fully invest in your four star sub dps characters because while their damage may be small, it really makes a difference when up against end game mode enemies in the TOA or even Holograms
I mean they do have insane dmg but there are content where they are just not suitable like prince maneuver warriors (for Jinhsi, is hell using her there) and they kinda suck if the enemy is extremely mobile or stuns your character easily
@@dondorowo3092 Camellya have some sort of AOE despite being locked in one place, Jinhsi struggles a lot in multi target content and sucks at chasing enemies 😭 but that's a fair price for that big ass nuke
All the clips were from my Tower runs so I wasn’t using any food buffs. Just the buffs from healer and sub dps. I’m using lingering tunes with atk% and Electro damage bonus. He has his signature weapon

Honestly I have never took Xiangli Yao out of my team since his release . He has managed to do 200k with just shorekeeper and yangyang. I dont have yinlin or jiaxin and I dont intend to pull Yinlin. And he has zero sequences honestly I've always wanted to see just how much damage an s6 Xiangli Yao does

lol this is probably for non invested on. Because he does not compare to cam fully invested LMAO. Cam damage potential is over 2.7 million and Yao damage is capped at 2 million. ( Keep in mind I am speaking for an investment pespective) Great video btw!

Now I understand and wholeheartedly agree that Xiangli Yao is much better than Camellya at S0, but what about when we take into account the sequences...? Cause I'm not really sure any character at this point in time can stack up to Camellya S6 on overall damage potential. With The Shorekeeper, Sanhua, and Camellya combo. Having Camellya alone doing 2M+ damage in a single rotation is so much fun. Pretty much everything dies before I can get my second nuke off in the first place. I don't have any sequences on my XLY so I can't say much to his potential there, so I'm actually VERY curious about how he stacks up at that point.
Good point. My analysis only took into consideration what they offer at S0 since most players can’t afford higher sequences. That will probably be in another video When I start whaling in the game😄

@@RebrandingChannels What I mostly do is to try and figure out what needs to be accomplished like high damage, low on-field time, more concerto energy regen, high forte stacks regeneration etc. After that I pretty much do everything in the character’s kit to see if it can help with the stuff I mentioned earlier. It’s all about observation by then

Been building him rn and why do i feel like he's better than camellya in some circumstances bcz Camellya didn't crit always even thou i always have better stats for her
In terms of utility, he has everything a dps character needs to do damage so he fits every possible situation you will encounter. The crit issue is normal on characters like jinshi and camellya😄. It can be annoying sometimes

I have question, but out of context. If I wanted to build 4 star support and sub dps (Baizhi, Yangyang, Sanhua, etc), does leveling them to lvl 80 is enough (only build weapon and echoes because they're shareable)? Since you know how tiring and resource consuming maxing them to 90 😂
I have all character build on 80, not 90, because I know that there is not much difference between 80/90 with 90/90
It depends on how much investment they have besides their level like echos for example. If you don’t have cracked echos on them which can increase their personal damage, it’s not worth it to upgrade them to level 90 because of the huge resource demand. However, I recommend that you fully invest in your four star sub dps characters because while their damage may be small, it really makes a difference when up against end game mode enemies in the TOA or even Holograms

Actually it is worth it to upgrade them purely even for survivability. The Sub DPS needs to be 80-90 Healer can be 80 DPS 90 only

Yes they are😄 but Xiangli yao have much more special utilities that they don’t aside from dealing damage
I mean they do have insane dmg but there are content where they are just not suitable like prince maneuver warriors (for Jinhsi, is hell using her there) and they kinda suck if the enemy is extremely mobile or stuns your character easily

@@dondorowo3092 Camellya have some sort of AOE despite being locked in one place, Jinhsi struggles a lot in multi target content and sucks at chasing enemies 😭 but that's a fair price for that big ass nuke

All the clips were from my Tower runs so I wasn’t using any food buffs. Just the buffs from healer and sub dps. I’m using lingering tunes with atk% and Electro damage bonus. He has his signature weapon
my best team is actually Changli Xiangli Yao.
I don’t have Changli yet so I can’t try out that team😭. I’m sure it’s fun

It’s a really good investment because of the crit rate substat so i suggest you pull for it. It will work well for future gauntlet dps characters.
