I threw out my packaging and found your video looking for how long to microwave it.
Thanks for posting this! it helped me figure it out :p
I don't know if you care to know, but...
When you mentioned the slots in the lid, you said its so heat from the microwave can get in. But microwaves heat things up by using microwave radiation. The radiation travels through the container and heats the kernels directly. So no heat needs to get in through the air.
The lid is actually to keep heat from escaping, if you microwave a plate of kernels they won't pop, you need steam heat. If you put the kernels in a bowl and place the plate on top like an unsealed lid then they do pop. This however can result in some somewhat soggy popcorn from the steam build up. The slots in the lid are there so some of the steam can get out.
I just thought you might be interested to know the actual science behind it! :)

You're welcome! :) And thank you for the science lesson! :) I think I was trying to say something about the steam getting out but my words came out the other way around.

I also have this popcorn popper for microwave and like it very much, almost every kernal pops. the slits on the top are not so the microwaves get in its for the steam the popped popcorn exudes while popping. I think it was well worth the money, I also purchased it for my single friends so they can control the amount they pop. It is also easily used at work for a nutricious snack.

Thank you for letting me know. :) I think I was trying to say something about the steam but my words came out the other way around. I like this popcorn popper too. My family used to have a popcorn machine and it was a hassle to put it together and wait for the kernels to pop. I think this popcorn popper is so much easier to use.

I have the same popcorn popper. I'm about to try it out now, thanks for the video. BTW you're super pretty! you have the big straight front teeth and the pretty top lip that shows them off (sounds weird but I've always been envious of that). anyways stay pretty and thanks again!
