MY HEART SO HURTS FOR THEM☹☹ JUST MOVED IN SEPT! WHEN THE HUSBAND/DAD SAID, "MY GRAMS QUILTS WERE IN THE ATTIC. YOU CAN'T REPLACE THOSE." OUCH!! THANK GOD THEY WERE NOT THERE!!!! PRAY PEOPLE HELP🙏
A media company should know which word to use. I might be a lowly blue collar worker in manufacturing, but at least I know the difference between "loose" and "lose".
Such a heartbreaking story. Feel really bad for the family. But never thought mullets in early 2020s would be on bingo card. Fashion is just one big revolving door.
You've obviously never tried to file a home insurance claim. When I was deployed to Afghanistan, the attic ac blower drain line became blocked and overflowed the drip pan into the ceiling, causing water damage and mold throughout the house. The continuous moisture led to a secondary invasion of carpenter ants who ate the studs in the entire west wall. The insurance company, which claims to "serve those who serve" fought tooth and nail for over 2 years to get out of paying, claiming I should have left the AC off (and I guess let the house and all the electronics in my office bake in the Texas summer) so it was my fault. The stress of trying to deal with it from 7800 miles away was much worse than anything I faced in a hostile wartime country. Stories like mine are far from unusual.
So, the main purpose of this "news" report is the very end of it; the good old, obligatory (these days) crowd funding online panhandling pitch? LOL. Not that I had any doubt at all that it was coming and just "hung in" to confirm my suspicions, but why is a local news station covering this in depth - or how is it even news worthy enough to send a reporter out? It's a home fire where thankfully, there were no fatalities and it's about as note worthy as a car accident with no fatalities. I'm very sorry about their loss here, but hundreds of thousands of families have lost their homes due to fire and it was never a local "news" story other than in passing about a structure fire - until recently. This whole panhandling and money begging stuff is getting out of hand when local "news" stations start getting involved. This station is HARDLY the only one to do it as I see it all the time from all over the country. I've suffered financial loss and hardship in my life too, but I'd NEVER lower myself to accept charity from anyone, and certainly no news station came out and included a picture of my family and me in the report - which I'd NEVER allow anyhow. That was pretty low and the guy (father) should have put a stop to this entire story. I have money in the bank and am insured against the unforeseeable occurrences - like MOST responsible adults do, and if someone is buying a fine looking home like this, I'm sure they'd have the same things. Suck it up, use your insurance and stop embarrassing yourself to the point where you ask for charity. Wow. Embarrassing.
A BEAUTIFUL Family!! So heartbreaking!
How sad. Thank God no one was home.
That's a bummer. Glad everyone was safe.
WOW so heartbreaking. It's really a relief that they weren't home though. I feel the same way the mom does that I'd rather have my family.
Very nice family they’re all safe.🙏😇😇😇😇😇A house is just boards and nails.
If they just closed and didn't pay cash. That means a mortgage that means insurance.
Sad! Prayers to this family!
God bless them!
God bless you all in your recovery ✝️🕊️🇺🇸
Praying for the family. 🙏
If the quilts are smoke damaged take them to a dry cleaners
It's "loses," not "looses."
Millennials LOL

"Looses"? Really?
A media company should know which word to use.

This is what a college education buys you 😂.
Could've been autocorrect and they didn't proof read.
Unbelievable that a news outlet misspelled a word on their headline! My middle school newspaper had better proofreading!
I almost loost it 🤣
The word "loses" is spelled and used correctly in the headline.
@@lynnetrue4103 Its called editing. You're a little late..

I wonder since the shell is intact if they can gut it and rebuild the interior?
This is one of the weirdest things I've ever seen
Lithium ion batteries 🔋 again!
Great educational system!! See this kind of spelling all the time in professional settings!
They didn't have insurance?
Insurance will cover
Hope the culprit will be brought to justice
They have insurance and money. It’s the poor who need help. 😮

Looses? 😂😂😂😂
Looses
For the housing market being soooo bad, how did a hairstylist get approved for a mortgage? 🤔
Her husband also applied for the loan. Not rocket science.
